(A short cutscene plays, Eous enters the Retroflux Zone)
(ProtagonistProtagonist): Whoa, I never expected such a huge space beneath Booastrum... So, this is the Retroflux Zone... From the structure and the name, this has to be Booastrum's water circulation system.
(ProtagonistProtagonist): According to the guard, if we keep going a little further, we should see an elevator that goes down to the En-Nah Gang's hideout... Alright, let's go!
Icon Dialogue Story Chat with the Bangboo by the elevator

A few Bangboo are gathered near the elevator. Looks like something's up. Go ask them.
(Ongoing)
Fairy: Master, I suggest taking the elevator ahead to reach your destination.
(Go down the ramp)
(ProtagonistProtagonist): (‍To think there areTo think there are / Who would've thought there were stillWho would've thought there were still‍) Bangboo living beneath the city... along with a secret gang...|
(ProtagonistProtagonist): (‍Though it's true only Bangboo could get around freely in a place this tight.Though it's true only Bangboo could get around freely in a place this tight. / Though in such a cramped place, only Bangboo could move about freely.Though in such a cramped place, only Bangboo could move about freely.‍)
(ProtagonistProtagonist): I wonder what the En-Nah Gang's hideout is like...
(ProtagonistProtagonist): (‍I hopeI hope / HopefullyHopefully‍) we can find some clues that (‍leadlead / pointpoint‍) to the culprit.
(Idle)
Map Vendor: Ehn-ne-ehn-ne! (Retroflux Zone maps! Only 500 Dennies a piece!)
(Talk to the Map Vendor, optional)
Map Vendor: Ehn-ne! Ehn-ne? Ehn-ne? (A new face! First time in the Retroflux Zone? Need a map?)
Icon Dialogue Talk What does the map show?
Map Vendor: Ehn-ne! Ehn-ne-ne! (The entire Retroflux Zone! The place is a maze, so this map's worth every Denny!)
Map Vendor: Ehn-ne-ne! Ehn-ne! (I explored and mapped every corner myself. Guaranteed! Just 500 Dennies. Interested?)
Icon Dialogue Talk Is this map genuine?
Map Vendor: Ehn-ne! Ehn-ne? Ehn-ne! (Of course! I make maps for a living. Why would I sell you a fake? Just so we're clear: you pay, I hand it over. No exceptions!)
Icon Dialogue Talk Let's see the map first...
Map Vendor: Ehn-ne! Ehn-ne? Ehn-ne? (No way! You're just messing with me now, aren't you? So, are you buying or what?)
Icon Dialogue Talk Let me check it first!
Map Vendor: Ehn-ne! Ehn-ne-ne! (No! Forget it. I'm not selling to you. Get out of here!)
(Talk to the Map Vendor again, optional)
Map Vendor: Ehn-ne? Ehn-ne-ne? (What? Changed your mind about my map?)
Icon Dialogue Talk Your map is obviously fake.
Map Vendor: Ehn-ne-ehn-ne! (Shoo! If you're not buying, quit wasting my time. I've got other customers!)
(Idle)
Builderboo 1: Ehn-ne-ne? (Isn't Clink Market this way?)
Builderboo 2: Ehn-ne-nuh... (Did you buy a fake map from that shady dealer by the entrance...?)
Builderboo 1: Ehn-ne! Ehn-ne! (What?! I paid 500 Dennies for it!)
(Talk to the Idle Bangboo, optional)
Idle Bangboo: Wuh-ne-ne! (Me, work in the lower levels of the Retroflux Zone? No way!)
Icon Dialogue Talk Why not?
Idle Bangboo: Wuh-ne? Wuh-ne-ne... (You haven't heard? There's a monster lurking deep in the Retroflux Zone, wearing a Bangboo's skin...)
Idle Bangboo: Wuh-ne-wuh-ne! (I saw it three days ago. It was tall and slender, with a terrifying glare. You could barely tell it was a Bangboo. It looked nothing like a normal one!)
Idle Bangboo: Wuh-ne... Wuh-ne... (I didn't dare get close. I hid far away until the crackling current and scraping metal faded away...)
Idle Bangboo: Wuh-ne-ne! (If you're heading deeper into the Retroflux Zone, be careful!)
(Idle)
Talkative En-Nah Gang Bangboo: Ehn-ne! Ehn-ne-nuh! (Look down! Look down!)
(Talk to the Talkative En-Nah Gang Bangboo, optional)
Talkative En-Nah Gang Bangboo: Ehn-ne-ne-nuh? (Why did the En-Nah Gang have to set up their base all the way in the Retroflux Zone?)
Talkative En-Nah Gang Bangboo: Ehn-ne-ne-nuh! Ehn-ne-nuh! (It's underground, dark, cramped, narrow, and full of twists! A regular Bangboo would burn through tons of charge just getting inside!)
Talkative En-Nah Gang Bangboo: Ehn-ne-nuh? (You think so too, don't you?)
Icon Dialogue Talk The way in is pretty rough...
Talkative En-Nah Gang Bangboo: Ehn-ne-ehn-ne! Ehn-ne-nuh. (The other Bangboo said I could just take a robot in. They even left one at the entrance! See? It's right next to me.)
Talkative En-Nah Gang Bangboo: Ehn-ne-ne? Ehn-ne-nuh! Ehn-ne-nuh! (But what if I don't know how to drive? This is discrimination! Discrimination against Bangboos who never learned how!)
Icon Dialogue Talk (This Bangboo is pretty chatty...)
Icon Dialogue Talk (Better leave him to it...)
(Approach the target location)
Stern Bangboo: Ehn, ehn-ne? (Hey, you there. You're a new member of the En-Nah Gang too, right?)
Icon Dialogue Talk Yeah. Are you all new members too?
Icon Dialogue Talk Why are you all standing here?
Pessimistic Bangboo: Ehn-ne. (We were gonna take the elevator to the secret hideout, but when we pressed the button, nothing happened.)
Pessimistic Bangboo: Ehn-ne-ne... (Could this be another test for joining the En-Nah Gang? I thought I had seen the revelation, so I was sure I would be accepted...)
Stern Bangboo: Ehn, ehn-ne-ne. (Once you've seen the revelation, you must believe in your sacred mission and overcome whatever difficulty stands before you!)
Airheaded Bangboo: Ehn! Neh! Neh! (Revelation! Sacred! Overcome!)
Stern Bangboo: Ehn... ehn-ne? (By the way, friend, you don't look like a Databoo. That's pretty rare. How did you receive the revelation?)
(ProtagonistProtagonist): (Wait, why are they (‍looking at me now?!looking at me now?! / all looking at me?!all looking at me?!‍) I'm still (‍trying totrying to / trynatryna‍) figure out what they (‍were allwere all / werewere‍) mumbling about... Guess I'll have to (‍bluff my way through first.)bluff my way through first.) / wing it for now.)wing it for now.)‍)
Icon Dialogue Talk (It all happened so fast.)
Icon Dialogue Talk (I didn't really understand it... but I was stunned.)
Stern Bangboo: Ehn-ne ehn-ne. (True. Seeing something like that so suddenly would leave any Bangboo at a loss.)
Airheaded Bangboo: Ehn! Neh! Neh! (Revelation! Stunned! At a loss!)
Pessimistic Bangboo: Ehn-ne... neh-neh! Neh. (Um... Every time a new Bangboo shows up, we talk about the revelation, but the elevator problem never gets solved! Let's hurry up and figure out how to reach the secret hideout.)
Icon Dialogue Talk The elevator's broken...
Icon Dialogue Talk Let's check the area.
(ProtagonistProtagonist): (The elevator's broken... Let's look around. Maybe there's another way to reach the En-Nah Gang's hideout.)
Icon Dialogue Story Tracked Connect to the robot

There are some robots nearby. Try hacking into them so we can use them to scout the area and find out what's causing the elevator to malfunction.
(Ongoing)
(ProtagonistProtagonist): Maybe I can (‍try hackingtry hacking / hackhack‍) into those robots?
(Take over the robot)
(Displays the High-Mobility Enhanced Robot tutorial)
Fairy: Press Dodge to transform into a sphere and move quickly!
(Ongoing)
(ProtagonistProtagonist): (‍It worked. Just as I thought. It worked. Just as I thought. / It worked! I had a feeling it would. It worked! I had a feeling it would.‍)
(ProtagonistProtagonist): (‍Let's take this side path and see where it leads...Let's take this side path and see where it leads... / Let's go down this side path and take a look...Let's go down this side path and take a look...‍)
Icon Dialogue Story Tracked Find the cause of the elevator malfunction

(Approach the drawbridge)
(ProtagonistProtagonist): I don't see a switch for the drawbridge... (‍Maybe I can try ramming it.Maybe I can try ramming it. / Guess I'll just try ramming it!Guess I'll just try ramming it!‍)
Icon Dialogue Story Tracked Keep looking for the cause of the elevator malfunction

(On-screen tip)
Hold Dodge to charge energy. Tap the button to trigger the mechanism!
(Go through the door)
(ProtagonistProtagonist): This robot's more agile than I (‍expected.expected. / thought.thought.‍)
(ProtagonistProtagonist): (‍There are so manyThere are so many / Look at all theseLook at all these‍) narrow pipes.
(ProtagonistProtagonist): So this is how the Bangboo from the En-Nah Gang usually get around?
Icon Dialogue Story Tracked Roll with the robot, straight to the bottom

(Go down the first speed boost ramp)
(ProtagonistProtagonist): (‍Wait... am IWait... am I / Whoa! Am IWhoa! Am I‍) supposed to go down like (‍this?this? / this?!this?!‍)
(ProtagonistProtagonist): But it's (‍faster than I expected.faster than I expected. / actually pretty fast!actually pretty fast!‍)
(Go on the last ramp)
Eous: Ennah... en-neh! (So fast... So fast! So exciting!)
Eous: En-nuh, ehn-neh? (Can we come here to play when we have no missions in the future?)
(Enter the next room)
Eous: En-nah en-neh... (I never would've guessed there'd be such a massive area below...)
Icon Dialogue Story Tracked Keep looking for the cause of the elevator malfunction

(Displays the Push the button mechanism tutorial)
(Ongoing)
(ProtagonistProtagonist): It should open if I (‍hithit / can hitcan hit‍) that switch.
(On-screen tip)
Hold Dodge to charge energy, then ram the button to power the Printing Bridge!
(After ramming the button)
Eous: En-nah-nuh! (Great! We can keep moving now!)
Icon Dialogue Story Tracked Head to the source of the sound

(Enter the room with the elevator)
(ProtagonistProtagonist): Hm? (‍I canI can / I think II think I‍) hear something nearby...
(Approach the target location)
(Investigate Faulty Electrical Box)
(ProtagonistProtagonist): (‍This circuit box is gonna catch fire if no one fixes it...This circuit box is gonna catch fire if no one fixes it... / Whoa, this circuit box... If no one fixes it, it's gonna catch fire!Whoa, this circuit box... If no one fixes it, it's gonna catch fire!‍)
(ProtagonistProtagonist): No wonder the elevator broke down... Hmm, let's try fixing it. We might need to come back later, and I really don't want to crawl through the pipes again.
(Solve the data panel puzzle)
(ProtagonistProtagonist): (Okay, that should do it... Huh?)
The elevator you just repaired suddenly starts moving on its own!
Before long, it returns to the lower level, and three familiar figures step out...
Stern Bangboo: Ehn-ne... ehn-ne-ne... (The elevator suddenly went back to normal... Does that mean the test is over already...?)
Pessimistic Bangboo: Ehn-ne... ehn-ne-ne! (No way... C'mon. Our pal here fixed the elevator for us!)
Airheaded Bangboo: Ehn-ne! Ehn-ne-ne! (Pal! Amazing!)
Pessimistic Bangboo: Ehn-ne... ehn-ne ehn-ne... (To have such an outstanding boo with us... The revelation we follow... is right, as expected...)
Icon Dialogue Talk (That revelation...?)
(ProtagonistProtagonist): (The En-Nah Gang's Bangboo keep mentioning this "relevation"... It's been bothering me for a while. What in New Eridu is it?)
(ProtagonistProtagonist): (Could it be a clue about the culprit? Or maybe...)
Stern Bangboo: Ehn-ne, ehn-ne-ne, ehn-ne. (Don't space out, friend. Our hideout is just up ahead. Let's go together.)
Icon Dialogue Story Tracked Head to the En-Nah Gang hideout

(Ongoing)
(ProtagonistProtagonist): (What is the connection between the "revelation" and the "culprit"...? It's still bothering me...)
(Talk to the Excited Bangboo, optional)
Excited Bangboo: Wuh-nah-gah! (I hear the last attack got a lot of higher-ups on alert!)
Passionate Bangboo: En ehn, enneh-nah-gah! (Word is this is the most successful op lately. Now they'll surely see the En-Nah Gang means business!)
Meticulous Bangboo: Neh-nah-gah. (But it seems like the final op didn't quite meet the goals.)
Passionate Bangboo: Neh-en-nah-gah. (That's because Lady Sigrid stepped in herself and shut it down.)
Excited Bangboo: Wuh-nah, nehnah-wuh-gah. (First time in history anyone's managed to get the legendary Lady Sigrid herself to show up.)
Excited Bangboo: En-neh-nahnah-gah! (The En-Nah Gang will achieve its mission someday!)
(Talk to the Resting Builderboo, optional)
Resting Builderboo: En-en-neh-nah-gah. (It never ends, it never ends.)
Resting Builderboo: En-ehn, en-neh-ahn gah. (No matter how much I fix, something else always breaks down just as fast.)
Icon Dialogue Talk The elevator up top is busted too.
Icon Dialogue Talk Does the equipment around here fail often?
Resting Builderboo: Enneh gah. (No idea why, but things have been breaking more and more lately.)
Resting Builderboo: En, neh-nah gah. (There's no end to this.)
Icon Dialogue Talk One more question.
Icon Dialogue Talk I don't hear many boo say "gah"...
Resting Builderboo: En, neh-nah-gah. (Oh, you'll get it once you meet our illustrious boss.)
Resting Builderboo: En-ahn, en-neh-gah! (Around here, everyboo looks up to the boss as their role model. You'll get the hang of it soon enough!)
Resting Builderboo: En-neh-nah, ne-gah. (Just be careful not to let that "gah" slip out outside.)
(Talk to the Serious Builderboo, optional)
Serious Builderboo: Enneh, nah-gah... (I just fixed it yesterday, how's it broken again...)
Assisting Builderboo: En-ehn, en-na-gah... (It's been like this for a while now, and no one can figure out why.)
Serious Builderboo: Neh, en-ne-neh, ehn-gah. (Guess I'll just have to fix it again. Swapped in a new wrench this time. Maybe that'll do the trick.)
Assisting Builderboo: Ennah-gah. (I don't think it works like that.)
(Talk to the Pessimistboo, optional)
Pessimistboo: Neh... en-nah-gah. (Gang missions... too much work.)
Icon Dialogue Talk En-Nah Gang missions?
Icon Dialogue Talk Like what?
Pessimistboo: Ennah-gah. (No idea, I've never participated.)
Pessimistboo: Nehnah, enneh-gah. (Just thinking about it made me tired, so I lay down here for a break.)
Pessimistboo: En-ahn-neh, ennah, neh-gah. (Keeping healthy and my battery charged... that's how I live up to Sunbringer's expectations, yeah.)
(Approach the target location)
Eous: Ehn-ne-ne? (Huh? Where's the path gone this time?)
Stern Bangboo: Ehn-ne, ehn-ne-ne. (A Bangboo once said: when there is no path, fire the cannon forward, and a path will appear.)
Pessimistic Bangboo: Ehn-ne, ehn-ne-ne. (A Bangboo once said: anything within range of the Bangboo cannon is a path a Bangboo may travel.)
Icon Dialogue Talk You mean...
Icon Dialogue Talk ...Using that cannon up ahead?!
Pessimistic Bangboo: Ehn-ne. (Yes.)
Airheaded Bangboo: Ehn, ehn, neh. (Bangboo cannon! Get in! Fire!)
Icon Dialogue Talk ...
Icon Dialogue Talk Is it too late to turn back now?
Stern Bangboo: Ehn-ne, ehn-nah-ne. Ehn-ne! (Don't worry, this is the final test. Let's all do our best!)
Fairy: Master, based on a rough calculation, the probability of this vehicle safely delivering Eous to the destination is: 98.732%.
(ProtagonistProtagonist): (‍(I don't even know where to start, that this can even be called a vehicle or that absurdly precise probability... *sigh* Forget it. There's no other way. Let's just try it.)(I don't even know where to start, that this can even be called a vehicle or that absurdly precise probability... *sigh* Forget it. There's no other way. Let's just try it.) / (That's way too precise! And how does this even count as a vehicle?! *sigh* ...Fine. It's not like there's another way. Let's try it.)(That's way too precise! And how does this even count as a vehicle?! *sigh* ...Fine. It's not like there's another way. Let's try it.)‍)
(A short cutscene plays, Eous enters the cannon and is launched out to the other side)
Stern Bangboo: Ehn-ne, ehn-ne-ne... (Finally... We finally reached our gang's hideout... That was so scary...)
Pessimistic Bangboo: Ehn-ne, ehn-ne-ne? (What's the next stage? A combat test... or a talent show?)
???: Ehn-ne-nuh, ehn-ne-gah! (New friends, the En-Nah Gang welcomes you!)
Griff: Ehn-ne, ehn-ne-gah. (I am Griff Ashton, current boss of the En-Nah Gang!)
(ProtagonistProtagonist): (Griff... So he's the boss of the En-Nah Gang! Maybe he knows something about the culprit... Come to think of it, this place really does (‍resembleresemble / look a lot likelook a lot like‍) what we saw in Toby's memories...)
(ProtagonistProtagonist): (Also... something's really strange. Almost all the Bangboo here seem to be Databoo... (‍Why is that?)Why is that?) / But why?)But why?)‍)
Pessimistic Bangboo: Ehn-ne, ehn-ne... (Wow, this Bangboo has a family name, and he can even en-nah a gah... He's definitely special...)
Stern Bangboo: Ehn-ehn, ehn-ehn-ne. (Boss Griff, we were allowed here because we received the revelation. We don't want to keep drifting without purpose. We long to contribute to the En-Nah Gang's great cause!)
Griff: Ehn-ne-gah! (Very good. That's the spirit!)
Griff: Ehn, ehn-ne? Ehn-ne-gah. (But they said three new members were coming; why's there one extra? Ugh, never mind. An elite four having five members is nothing unusual, after all.)
Pessimistic Bangboo: Ehn-ne... ehn-ne ehn-ne? (Um, Boss... does this mean we're officially members of the En-Nah Gang now?)
Griff: Gah, ehn-ehn-ne-gah. (Oh, more or less. Once you've got the Great Prophet's approval, you're in!)
Griff: Nah-nuh, ehn-ah-nah, ehn-ne-gah. (He's the oldest member of the En-Nah Gang and the first large Databoo to receive the revelation. Every new member must earn his approval before joining.)
Griff: Ehn-gah. (Alright, follow me.)
Icon Dialogue Story Tracked Meet with Prophetboo

Griff, the boss of the En-Nah Gang, welcomes us and makes it clear that to officially join the En-Nah Gang, we'd need the approval of a large Databoo known as Prophetboo. Time to meet this Prophetboo.
(Idle)
Prophetboo: Ennah. (Lotta new Boo here.)
Stern Bangboo: En-nah, ne. (We only made it thanks to that outstanding Boo.)
Griff: Enneh-gah. (Prepare for verification.)
(Approach Prophetboo)
Griff: Ehn-ne, ehn-ne-gah. (O Great Prophet, I've brought four new members who have received the revelation.)
Prophetboo: Ehn-ne, ehn-ne, ehn-ne-ne... (Oh, more new disciples? Good, good... The En-Nah Gang grows stronger. One day, all Bangboo shall see the truth...)
(ProtagonistProtagonist): (So this is Prophetboo... the oldest Bangboo of the En-Nah Gang.)
Prophetboo: Ehn, ehn-ne-ne. (Come, children. Tell me what kind of revelation each of you received.)
Griff: Ehn-ne-gah? (Which of you would like to go first?)
Stern Bangboo: Ehn-ehn, neh, ehn-ne. (Boss, Great Prophet, on such an important occasion, I propose that the most outstanding Boo among us speak first.)
Icon Dialogue Talk Huh? Me?
Stern Bangboo: Ehn-ehn, neh, ehn-ne. (He is a kind and dependable Bangboo. If it weren't for his help, we might've never made it here.)
Icon Dialogue Talk No, no, no. You go first. I insist.
Pessimistic Bangboo: Ehn-ne, neh, ehn-ne. (Ah, my friend, you're far too humble... It only makes this Bangboo feel even more ashamed. I also propose that this outstanding Boo go first.)
Airheaded Bangboo: Ehn! Neh! (Outstanding Boo! Goes first!)
Icon Dialogue Talk Uh... well...
Griff: Ehn-ne, ehn-ne-gah. (Alright, alright, enough. Since your companions all agree, you go first.)
(ProtagonistProtagonist): (‍(I'm starting to regret fixing that elevator... I didn't expect things to end up like this.)(I'm starting to regret fixing that elevator... I didn't expect things to end up like this.) / (I never should've fixed that elevator... How was I supposed to know it'd end up like this?!)(I never should've fixed that elevator... How was I supposed to know it'd end up like this?!)‍)
(ProtagonistProtagonist): (This revelation thing... I don't even know what it is... What am I supposed to say?)
Fairy: Apologies, Master. No relevant data found regarding the "En-Nah Gang's revelation." Suggestion: respond vaguely and attempt to bluff your way through.
Icon Dialogue Talk (Follow Fairy's advice)
Eous: Ehn-ne... ehn-ne... ehn-ne-ne... (The revelation was... very shocking. Very spectacular... It just appeared all of a sudden... Hmm... yes. Very shocking.)
Griff: Ehn-ne... ehn-ne-gah? (Shocking, sure, but... spectacular? What are you talking about?)
Griff: Ehn-ne... ehn-ne-gah?! (Wait... Don't tell me you didn't actually receive the revelation? Then what are you doing here? Wait... are you an Airspace Patrol Boo?!)
Icon Dialogue Talk No, no! I mean no harm!
Icon Dialogue Talk I'm here to help the Bangboo!
Griff: Ehn-ne, ehn, ehn-ne-gah! (No excuses! We won't trust any Bangboo who hasn't received the revelation! They're... They're all puppets controlled by those three! We can't trust a single one of them!)
Griff: Ehn-ne... ehn-ne-ne! (O Great Prophet, please tell us what we should do!)
Prophetboo: Ehn-ne... ehn-ne-ne. (A Bangboo who hasn't received the revelation... but you don't seem like a bad Bangboo.)
Prophetboo: Ehn-ne... ehn-ne ehn-ne. (This is certainly unprecedented... but then again, there's been no shortage of unprecedented happenings lately. Such as... the return of the Great One...)
Prophetboo: Ehn-ne... ehn-ne. (I believe... we should leave his fate to the Great One.)
Griff: Ehn-ne, ehn-ne-gah! (Yes, Great Prophet! I'll take this one to see the Great One at once!)
Icon Dialogue Talk (The Great One? Could it be...)
Griff: Ehn, ehn-ne-gah! (Hey, you! What're you standing around for? Come with me. I'll take you to see the Great One right now!)
And so, you're escorted to a sealed door...
Griff: Ehn-ne, ehn-ne-gah! Ehn-ne-ne-gah! (We've arrived at the Great One's temporary chambers! You, stay where you are! No funny business!)
Griff: Ehn-ne... ehn-ne-nuh? Ehn-ne-gah. (Ahem... Great One, are you there? We've apprehended a suspicious Bangboo and are unsure how to deal with him. We humbly await your guidance.)
???: Oh? Is that so... Then come on in.
Griff: Ehn-ne, ehn-ne-ne, ehn-ne-gah! (Yes, Great One! We're coming in now! You, go in first! I'll be right behind you! Behave!)
Icon Dialogue Story Tracked Meet the Bangboo's "Great One"

Having failed the test, we've been brought to the door of a mysterious "Great One." Whatever happens next is entirely up to them.
(Ongoing)
(ProtagonistProtagonist): ("The Great One"... could that be the culprit? That voice sounds (‍strangelystrangely / weirdlyweirdly‍) familiar...)
(Interact with the door to the Hidden Room)
(A short cutscene plays, Remielle is standing at the balcony railing and turns around)

Beneath the Riddle

The following is recorded in the Video Archive
Story Beneath the Riddle

Video Summary: The wanted princess and seven (or more) Bangboo.
Story Description: The "Great One" the Bangboo kept mentioning turns out to be Remielle! After you explain the reason for coming here, Remie offers to help, but in return, she needs you to assist with her investigation into Girtablullu.

(ProtagonistProtagonist): Remielle?! (‍What are you doingWhat are you doing / Why are youWhy are you‍) here?!
Griff: Ehn-ne? Ehn-ne-gah?! (A h—human voice came from a Bangboo body?! Lady Remielle, be careful! Th—This one is definitely up to no good!)
Remielle: Oh yeah, (‍he'she's / she'sshe's‍) up to no good... (‍hehe / sheshe‍) is the partner-in-crime of a fugitive like me, after all~
(ProtagonistProtagonist): Answer me, Remielle. Why are you here... and what are you doing with the En-Nah Gang?
Remielle: Oh my, that is a curious question.
Remielle: Barging into someone else's home uninvited, then starting with "why are you here"... how terribly rude. Oh, wait. I suppose I did something similar myself not long ago... never mind. Not important.
Griff: Ehn-ne, ehn-ne-gah? (Lady Remielle... you know each other?)
Remielle: Yes. Haven't I mentioned before? This is the Proxy from the External Strategy Department.
Griff: Ehn-ne... ehn-ne-gah! (Oh, I remember! That cute, slightly clueless-looking Proxy you said was so much fun to tease!)
(ProtagonistProtagonist): Huh?
Remielle: A little too talkative, aren't we, Griff?
Griff: Ehn-ne... Ehn-ne-ne! Ehn-ne-gah! (Eek! I'm sorry! I said too much! Lady Remielle, please put the feathers away! There's no need to use that on a Bangboo! I'm leaving right now! You two... please continue!)
Griff quickly bolts out of the room and slams the door behind him...
Remielle: Well then, it's just the two of us now, my charming little Bangboo. I must say, I didn't expect you to have such a practical — yet rather adorable — little skill.
Remielle: You haven't used this little trick for anything mischievous, have you?
(ProtagonistProtagonist): I feel like you're imagining something really weird... Wait — how did you manage to get me off track (‍again?again? / again?!again?!‍) (‍Ahem... IfAhem... If / IfIf‍) I remember correctly, in our Q&A game, it's my turn to ask the (‍questions.questions. / questions!questions!‍)
Remielle: Sure. What would you like to know this time?
Icon Dialogue Talk Why are you here?
(ProtagonistProtagonist): Why are you on the En-Nah Gang's turf? And... why do all the Bangboo here seem to respect you so much?
Remielle: My, you really should listen when people are talking, (‍Mr.Mr. / MissMiss‍) Impatient. Didn't I already tell you? This is my home. What's strange about finding me in my own home?
(ProtagonistProtagonist): So... you're the real leader of the En-Nah Gang?
Remielle: What are you talking about? The leader of the En-Nah Gang is Griff, the one who brought you in just now.
Remielle: Me? I'm only a poor soul they took in recently, that's all.
(ProtagonistProtagonist): But... don't the En-Nah Gang's Bangboo hate humans? Why would they...
Remielle: Because... the Bangboo they call Prophetboo... saw me once, long ago.
Remielle: It must have been over a hundred years ago... I never imagined a Bangboo could live that long.
Remielle: In his eyes, I'm still the Void Hunter—and a friend of their mother, Lady Sunbringer, the person they hold most dear.
Icon Dialogue Talk That doesn't make sense.
Icon Dialogue Talk Miss Fugitive for attempted assassination...
(ProtagonistProtagonist): But that makes even less sense! Weren't you wanted because you tried to assassinate Lady Sunbringer and failed? In which case, shouldn't the En-Nah Gang's Bangboo hate you even more?
Remielle: Oh, that part's simple.
Remielle: Because... as far as the En-Nah Gang understands it, the three Sunbringers now governing Roscaelifer...
Remielle: They're all impostors.
Icon Dialogue Talk What did you say?!
(ProtagonistProtagonist): What did you say?!
(ProtagonistProtagonist): The three Lady Sunbringers we have now... even if they're not exactly as they once were, they're still Sunbringers, aren't they?
Remielle: Hehe, who knows? At the very least, the En-Nah Gang Bangboo don't see it that way.
Remielle: They believe only in the "revelation" they saw. And to them, it's proof that the true Lady Sunbringer is calling out for help.
Icon Dialogue Talk What exactly is this "revelation"...?
(ProtagonistProtagonist): The "revelation" they saw... what exactly was it?
Remielle: How should I know? I'm not a Bangboo.
Remielle: But I've heard this so-called "revelation" is a vision that occasionally appears to Databoo while they're processing Rosetta Data ...
Remielle: The true Lady Sunbringer, imprisoned in endless darkness.
(ProtagonistProtagonist): Huh? (‍Wait...Wait... / Wait, hold on...Wait, hold on...‍) The real Lady Sunbringer is imprisoned? By whom? No, that (‍doesn't make sense.doesn't make sense. / can't be right.can't be right.‍) (‍I can't imagine anyone being capable of something like that.I can't imagine anyone being capable of something like that. / There's no way anyone could pull off something like that! There's no way anyone could pull off something like that!‍)
Remielle: Sorry, I've got no idea either.
Remielle: Alright, (‍Mr.Mr. / MissMiss‍) Curious. I've answered quite a few of your questions already. Is it my turn now?
Icon Dialogue Talk You... what do you want to ask?
(ProtagonistProtagonist): ...What do you want to ask?
Remielle: No need to be so nervous. Aren't we close enough to tell each other anything by now?
Remielle: My question is the same as yours: why are you here, my dear Proxy?
Icon Dialogue Talk (Tell her what you found in Toby's memories)
(ProtagonistProtagonist): Remember Toby? The Bangboo we rescued from Girtablullu.
(ProtagonistProtagonist): We managed to restore some of Toby's memories. He was kidnapped, (‍andand / and...and...‍) the place where it (‍happenedhappened / happened...happened...‍) had En-Nah Gang graffiti.
Remielle: I see... so you've come to the En-Nah Gang looking for answers.
Remielle: Hmm... Singularity Leakage... the culprit behind the Bangboo case... the En-Nah Gang... Girtablullu... If my guess is right...
Icon Dialogue Talk What is it, Remielle?
(ProtagonistProtagonist): What is it, Remielle?
Remielle: Oh, it's nothing. Just a passing thought. Speaking of which...
Remielle: How about I do you a little favor, (‍Mr.Mr. / MissMiss‍) Detective?
Remielle: I can step in as "Lady Remielle of the En-Nah Gang," put in a good word for you, and have the En-Nah Gang Bangboo assist you in locating this... crime scene.
Icon Dialogue Talk For real?
Icon Dialogue Talk Remielle, you're a lifesaver!
(ProtagonistProtagonist): Really? (‍That wouldThat would / That'dThat'd‍) be a huge (‍help! Thank you!help! Thank you! / help, Remielle! Thanks!help, Remielle! Thanks!‍)
(ProtagonistProtagonist): Uh... wait. (‍This doesn't come with some extra condition, does it?This doesn't come with some extra condition, does it? / There's a catch, isn't there? There's a catch, isn't there?‍) No, knowing you, of course (‍it does!it does! / there is!there is!‍) (‍Out with it.Out with it. / Alright, out with it.Alright, out with it.‍) What are you (‍schemingscheming / plottingplotting‍) this time?
Remielle: (‍Oh my, Mr.Oh my, Mr. / Wow, MissWow, Miss‍) Detective, isn't that a little much? I told you my condition ages ago: help me investigate Girtablullu.
Remielle: And if I'm not mistaken... Girtablullu and the culprit you're after may end up being connected.
Icon Dialogue Talk Can you clarify that...
(ProtagonistProtagonist): (‍Remielle, you really should do something about your habit of speaking in riddles...Remielle, you really should do something about your habit of speaking in riddles... / Ugh... Not this again! Enough with the riddles already! Remielle, could you please clarify what you mean?Ugh... Not this again! Enough with the riddles already! Remielle, could you please clarify what you mean?‍)
Remielle: Hmm... very well. I'll try to restrain myself. Though... I am rather fond of riddles.
Remielle: A riddle keeps the uninvolved safely in their garden of ignorance, while guiding those who seek the truth one step at a time toward the heart of the mystery.
Remielle: In the end, a riddle is simply what truth looks like when the people involved don't all have the same information.
Remielle: But enough philosophy. Let's ask Griff about the place you're searching for.
