The peaceful cityscape that you haven't seen in a while, brings a feeling as if a lifetime has passed... - Zhao: Now that everything's been resolved, it's about time I head back and report in.
- Zhao turns around, seemingly ready to leave right away. But after taking just a few steps, she stops.
She stands there in silence for a moment, like she's going through some inner struggle...
She finally turns back, avoiding your gaze for the first time. - Zhao: Proxy, and Ye Shunguang... thank you.

Story Description: At the ceremony, Ye Shiyuan silently watches his sister being ordained as a Void Hunter from among the crowd, and finally leaves with acceptance. He acknowledges that he has misunderstood Ye Shunguang's kindness—it is actually courage and compassion to still choose light after experiencing darkness.
- Thunderous applause fills the hall, echoing endlessly. The crowd cheers, paying their highest respect to the young Void Hunter.
Only one person stands silently in the shadows.
His expression remains calm as always. At the corner of his lips rests a faint smile, a relief he himself doesn't realize is there. - Ye Shiyuan takes one last, lingering look at the figure bathed in light upon the stage.
Then, without a trace of hesitation, he turns away and walks alone against the tide of cheers.
His silhouette fades into the darkness, leaving all the noise behind him. - At that moment, I finally understood why the Qingming Sword chose her, not me, nor anyone else.
- I once arrogantly believed her kindness was mere innocence... The naivety of someone sheltered from the storms of the world.
- I was wrong. That wasn't naivety.
- It was the courage to see through the darkness, yet still choose to embrace the light.
- It was something vast and overwhelming, powerful enough to drown everything, yet utterly genuine... a heart of compassion.
