Icon Dialogue Operation Deep-Dive Treasure Operation Deep-Dive Treasure

Shipping accidents have been on the rise recently, pushing the local waters past a critical threshold. The cargo that sank beneath the waves has driven all manner of creatures into a frenzy, making these waters perilous, but also opening the door to unusual opportunities. By salvaging lost cargo, searching for treasure, and capturing frenzied creatures to bring back to the Wingalet for care, we can help restore the waters to their natural state while bringing considerable benefits to the aquarium...

Map Description

Operation Deep-Dive Treasure is a part of the Sunny Summer Fontinalia event.

It is unlocked by completing the Event World Quest Elegance? Safety First! in Sunny Summer Fontinalia (Event) and accessed by interacting with the door with the Icon Dialogue Operation Deep-Dive Treasure icon aboard the Wingalet.

Tutorial

Rules

Tutorial Sunny Summer Fontinalia Operation Deep-Dive Treasure 7
In "Operation Deep-Dive Treasure," your main objective is to defeat and capture rare, dangerous creatures, as well as look for even more precious collectibles, then surface within the time given.

Tutorial Sunny Summer Fontinalia Operation Deep-Dive Treasure 2
You can approach most dangerous creatures after stunning them. To do that, simply attack them until their HP is reduced to the minimum. Once they're stunned, you can capture them and store them in your Treasure Inventory.
Do note that certain powerful creatures marked with a special icon are capable of dealing more damage, so be extra careful when you're dealing with them!

Tutorial Sunny Summer Fontinalia Operation Deep-Dive Treasure 3
Open the Treasure Inventory interface to move or rotate items to adjust their position within the inventory.
Any nearby items available for pickup will also be displayed on the left side of the Treasure Inventory interface.
Arrange items and rotate them as necessary to maximize the available space in your inventory.

Tutorial Sunny Summer Fontinalia Operation Deep-Dive Treasure 4
Some of the larger creatures will require further subduing after being stunned before you can capture them. Press the Capture button when the needle points to the corresponding zone to complete the check for that area. Once all areas have been successfully checked, the creature is considered successfully subdued.

Tutorial Sunny Summer Fontinalia Operation Deep-Dive Treasure 5
You may encounter various containers while in the water, which will only open some time after you approach them.
You have a chance of finding high-value items with every container type. The more containers you find, the higher the chance that you surface with a veritable haul...

Tutorial Sunny Summer Fontinalia Operation Deep-Dive Treasure 6
You may also find usable consumable items in these containers.
You may carry up to one consumable item at any one time, which cannot be brought out with you when you surface.

Tutorial Sunny Summer Fontinalia Operation Deep-Dive Treasure 7
An area with murky green water. Wait here for a certain amount of time to surface and end the operation.
Certain rendezvous points will only work after the corresponding mechanisms have been activated.

Tutorial Sunny Summer Fontinalia Operation Deep-Dive Treasure 8
In the event that your operation fails, you may still choose to bring out certain items with you by placing them in the Safety Capsule.
You can expand the space available in the Safety Capsule through "Marvelous Abilities."

Tutorial Sunny Summer Fontinalia Operation Deep-Dive Treasure 9
Over time, the water will become increasingly polluted. When the water is in early-stage pollution, you will encounter more powerful opponents, and your character will continuously take damage and lose Durability. Then, as more time passes and the even more dangerous late-stage pollution takes hold, your character will take even more damage continuously. Head to a rendezvous point to surface as soon as possible if you find that you can no longer continue with the operation.

Tutorial Sunny Summer Fontinalia Operation Deep-Dive Treasure 10
You may encounter special Xenochromatic Fontemer Aberrants in the water. Attack these creatures to obtain their abilities for a short time. Do note that while these creatures are more powerful, you will only be able to use their abilities a certain number of times.

Tutorial Sunny Summer Fontinalia Operation Deep-Dive Treasure 11
You start with a certain combat ability in every water body.
Once you have completed the key designated tasks, you'll be able to select the combat abilities you wish to use before entering the water.

Tutorial Sunny Summer Fontinalia Operation Deep-Dive Treasure 12
Use this to restore a certain amount of Durability.
Use the Enhanced Healing Potion to restore Durability to the max.

After taking multiple attacks, a random Treasure Inventory slot will become damaged and cannot be used to hold items.

Tutorial Operation Deep-Dive Treasure Random Water Zone Buff

Combat Abilities

  • After submitting the Management Commission in which a Water Zone's boss (the non-Rampaging version) must be defeated and retrieved, players can select any of their combat abilities to be their default ability in that Water Zone.
    • The corresponding Management Commissions are as follows:
      • Zone I: V. "The Gunsmiths' Departure"
      • Zone II: IX. "The Lord of Scrapland's End"
      • Zone III: XII. "Thus Falls the Faux-Holy Sword"
      • Zone IV: XV. "Grease Removal"
      • Zone V: XVIII. "Battle Line, Bubbled"
    • All combat abilities will be at their respective levels in Marvelous Abilities.
  • In addition to the selected combat ability for each Water Zone, various Xenochromatic Creatures can be found while diving. These can be attacked to temporarily gain their ability.
    • Xenochromatic Creatures will disappear for the current dive after they are attacked.
    • Only one temporary ability can be held at a time. Obtaining a new ability will replace the current one.
    • Temporary abilities have no time limit but a limited number of skill uses (amount differs by ability). Temporary abilities will be lost when all skill uses are exhausted. Auto-casts do not count as skill uses.
    • Players can switch between a temporary ability and their default ability if the temporary ability has not yet been used up.
    • Temporary abilities will always be one level higher than the player's current level for the corresponding ability, up to Lv. 7, one more than the maximum level for standard combat abilities.

    • After Condition missing, a red "extra dangerous" rating will be demoted to yellow.‍[Different for different creatures? For different Zones? And is it based on your total Marvelous Ability level count?]

Add any missing Lucky Bonuses

Unlocked after completing the Management Commission "VI. Business Benchmark III"

After a successful operation in any Water Zone, each Water Zone will have a random Lucky Bonus applied to it for all subsequent dives until the next successful operation. Lucky Bonuses will not change after failed operations, nor are their effects revoked for the results of a failed operation, so a Lucky Bonus can be taken advantage of by repeatedly failing dives, such as by exiting dives early.

Prismatic variants are indicated by sparkles, and if successfully captured, they provide more Funds (Sunny Summer Fontinalia) Funds and change their corresponding Archive entry into one with a shining animation.

Operation Failed

A dive can be failed by either abandoning the dive prematurely or losing all Durability. In both cases, if there are items in the Treasure Inventory, the player will be prompted to move as many as they can and want to into the Safety Capsule, which will allow them to bring those items back normally despite the failed dive.

Commissions can still be completed with failed dives, as long as their objectives are completed.
