Follow-Up Attack
Last updated 2026-09-09
Follow-up attacks are attacks that generally trigger automatically and ignore turn order.
Counter
Counter is also considered a follow-up attack.
Follow-Up Actions
Unless a follow-up attack is launched by a Summon, they are typically launched through a follow-up action. Follow-up actions ignore turn order and have a greater priority than Ultimates and Extra Actions. Follow-up actions cannot take place when the character is under a Crowd Control debuff.
Note that follow-up actions are not exclusive to abilities that launch follow-up attacks. Certain non-attacking abilities, such as Luocha's and Jingliu's also produce follow-up actions.
Follow-up actions triggered upon entering a battle take place after the Toughness Reduction/Technique DMG of an overworld attack.
Abilities
38 abilities produce follow-up attacks:
| Character | Name | Description | Type | Tag |

After any unit attacks, if the attack tally reaches 8, Gilgamesh and Saber launch Joint Follow-Up ATK, dealing Lightning DMG equal to 200%-440% of Gilgamesh's ATK and Wind DMG equal to 300%-660% of Saber's ATK to all enemies, respectively. Then, Gilgamesh gains 3 "Interest." Saber regenerates a fixed 120 Energy, and the next time she uses Ultimate, the DMG dealt becomes 120%-216% of the original DMG. After using Joint Follow-Up ATK, resets the attack tally. |
