Enemy/Elite

Elite Enemies are a type of Enemy encountered in the game.

Compared to normal enemies, they have more HP, Damage, Toughness, and are generally able to perform two actions per turn instead of one. Elite Enemies found in the overworld are almost always part of a Formidable Foe Challenge. They can also be found in other locations such as Cavern of Corrosions, Stagnant Shadows and the Simulated/Divergent Universe.

In the Simulated/Divergent Universe and some events, some Elite Enemies may have the "(Bug)" prefix on them. These enemies generally boast higher stats, enhanced/modified abilities and generally have a different attack pattern compared to the original, making them considerably stronger opponents if not handled properly. Bug-type enemies in the overworld are indicated with darker tones and a black aura around them, though this is not present during the actual fight.

Other variations of Elite enemies are less common and only found in specific content.

Trivia

Until Version 4.0, Elite Enemies in the overworld were one-off encounters, such as Formidable Foe Challenges or missions. This version added three respawnable Rocking Rebels in Dovebrook District, Planarcadia, and these enemies do not guard any chests.
