- Xueyi: (Trailblazer), the Shackling Prison is still trying to have peace and order restored. It is not safe, so please try not to wander around.
Don't worry. I can take care of myself.
- Xueyi: I wouldn't be worried if I could turn into a cycrane and come back either.
- I'm sure you'll keep me safe.
- Xueyi: You may be asking too much of a defenseless little cycrane like me.
- Xueyi: ...
- Xueyi: Why aren't you laughing?
- Xueyi: It's a joke. Hanya said that I should try cracking more jokes when conversing with others.
- *laughs out loud*
- Xueyi: You laughed! I'm glad.
- Sorry! I forgot to laugh!
- Xueyi: There's no need to apologize. I should have made a funnier joke.

- Xueyi: I see. What do you wish to talk about?
- Why are you still at the Shackling Prison?
- Xueyi: By the Ten Lords' order, the Shackling Prison's repairs must be personally presided over by a trusted judge. I've thus been temporarily stationed here to supervise the repairs.
- I want to transform into a cycrane or aurumaton too...
- Xueyi: Transformation is far less interesting than it looks. Have you any idea why I choose to possess this fragile vessel of a puppet over a powerful aurumaton when I'm dispatched on an expedition?
- Xueyi: It is because when a person's consciousness dwells in a body they are unfamiliar with, they experience a burning sensation so overwhelming that even hiding within an ice cave would provide scant respite.
- Xueyi: But I must also admit that crushing abominations with my own fists as an aurumaton... does feel satisfying.
- How's Hanya doing?
- Xueyi: I don't see my sister every day, so I'm not always sure how she is, either. Moreover, she only ever brings favorable news whenever we meet, which makes me concerned if she's really doing fine.
- Xueyi: That said, she used to only relate encounters she had at work to me, but she now tells me stories about her friends outside of work too.
- Xueyi: Like that heliobus Huohuo has, Sushang, Guinaifen, and you. I could just be imagining it, but I find her more cheerful compared to before.
- Xueyi: We sisters are people whose lives have come to an eternal standstill, yet all of you are still willing to be her friends despite that. For that, I thank you all.
