Dialogue
- Mydei: ...The reason people spend time alone is to enjoy peace and quiet... You must understand such a simple logic, surely?
There's no need to be so harsh. Let's have a chat.
- Mydei: Fine. What do you wish to say?
What kind of Titan is Nikador?
- Mydei: As is known to all... Nikador is the God of War, the God of Fear, and the God of Glory.
- Mydei: Of course, there are those that see Nikador as foolish and violent. They call Nikador the "Mad King"... It does make sense. To a flock of sheep, even a yawn from a wolf is enough to send them into hysteria.
They are dead now, and there will be no more wars!
- Mydei: It is too early to be so complacent. Titankin of Strife still roam this world, and the black tide rages on. Only when the true purpose of war is eradicated can peace descend.
- Mydei: When a threat to your survival looms over your head, you have but two options: To beg for mercy and buy time, or to draw your sword and go into battle. I'm sure you do not have to be a Kremnoan to know the right answer.
Fear and glory... Is that not a contradiction?
- Mydei: To the Kremnoans, fear is the path to glory. The reason that Kremnoans vow to follow Nikador to their death is so that Nikador can forge limitless fear into endless glory.
- Mydei: In the glorious era before the Strife Titan fell, only the crown prince who could hold their spear firm under the divine pressure and stand tall under the rain of blood was worthy to become the King of Kremnos.
- Mydei: I can understand the Okhemans' grudge against Nikador. However, I do hope that you will understand that Nikador has gifted more than just suffering and fear to Amphoreus.
- Mydei: Before the Lance of Fury fell into madness, they served as the guardian of Amphoreus. The power of Strife is also the queller of strife.
I want to hear about the origins of the Kremnoan detachment.
- Mydei: Hah, that is a long story... Let me give you the abridged version.
- Mydei: I'm not sure if you have heard this before, but I had a few issues with my hometown. I elected to leave Castrum Kremnos for various reasons and wander across Amphoreus. The Kremnoan detachment was a group of my fellow countrymen who were willing to follow me.
- Mydei: Though they were exiles, their drive exceeded even that of the soldiers of Kremnos. Word of our might spread across Ladon, Aidonia, and Aenionus.
- Mydei: Later, we happened to ally ourselves with Okhema and offered our services to the Flame-Chase Journey led by the Goldweaver. During that time, this lone army of Kremnos achieved great military success. Along the expedition, we fought back into their home city and defeated the previous king.
What a chilling story of royal leadership!
- Mydei: Perhaps this narration is an understatement. The suffering and sacrifices that we experienced during that expedition were heavier than any words could convey.
Do you folks miss home?
- Mydei: I left my hometown at a young age. Though I carry the blood of Castrum Kremnos, I bear no affection for that kingdom.
- Mydei: As for my kin... the Kremnoans show how much they miss their home by fighting without restraint. WHen I see them on the battlefield, blood-stained and raising a cry of "valorous death before glorious return," I knew... that Okhema could never be their true home.
- Mydei: That is all I will say for now. If you are interested, you can go to those Verax Leos and ask about the achievements of the Kremnoan detachment. But do not trust their every word... They love to piece together stories to stir the pot.
- (Disappears after completing Passage, Reveal the Past Once More)
Why are you not taking the trial of Nikador?
- Mydei: ...Phainon is better suited for that than I am.
You two seem evenly matched.
- Mydei: It is not merely martial strength that decides who will bear the Coreflame of Strife. Phainon... he is the flawless "Deliverer", and there is no greater candidate to inherit the divinity of Nikador.
- Mydei: As long as he can overcome the fear in his heart, glory shall become his crown.
Are you scared that you would not pass the trial?
- Mydei: Hmph. If a battle to the death with Nikador could not incite fear in my heart, what could scare me about a mere trial? The thing that stops me from grasping the Coreflame is not the trial of the Titan... but the trial of Castrum Kremnos.
- Mydei: Allow me to interrupt your interrogation here. I have my own reasons for not accepting the Coreflame. I will not allow my decision to be shaken by your intentions. You may save your breath.
- (Available after completing Passage, Reveal the Past Once More)
Are you really going to return home alone and face the black tide?
- The fragment of memory seems to waver — words once spoken are reappearing now due to the emotion they contain...
- Mydei: If all goes well, we may not meet again. Thank you for everything you've brought to Amphoreus.
Train more, stay up late less.
- Mydei: ...Haha, such inspiring words.
Stay safe out there. A lone boy can get into a lot of trouble.
- Mydei: ...Haha, such a heartfelt farewell.
*sob* ...What are we going to do without you?
- Mydei: ...Haha, Trailblazer, are you rambling again?
- Mydei: Now that I bear the divine within me, I can get the vague feeling that... that you have a great significance for the future of Amphoreus.
- Mydei: With this departure, I fear that I will never again return. Can I entrust you to watch my back... and to continue supporting the Flame-Chase Journey in my absence?
I don't think I have more to chat about.
- Mydei: That is all I have to say. Farewell.
That's all for now.
- Mydei: Farewell.
- (If the player has

- Mydei: Let me see.
- Mydei: ...
- Mydei: ...
Say something!- Mydei: Where did you find this slate? Castrum Kremnos?
What does the slate say?- Mydei: Just some stories of the past, take a look for yourself. Come to think of it, did you not receive the benediction of Oronyx?
- Mydei: If you're interested, why not take a look around Castrum Kremnos for yourself? Maybe you will be able to dig up some interesting stories from among the dust of memories.
- Though you have more questions you want to ask, Mydei turns away and remains silent on the topic.

Dialogue
- (Slumbering Courtyard, with Eurypon and Gorgo)
Main article: Eurypon
- Mydei: What would you like to eat today? I'll be the chef.
- Gorgo: Pomegranate juice grilled Dulu bird cutlets! I just can't forget that taste!
- Eurypon: ...
- Gorgo: Darling, don't just stand there. What would you like to eat?
- Eurypon: ...I'll have the same as your mother, Mydeimos.
- Mydei: ...
- Eurypon: ...
- Gorgo: ...What's with you two? "..." isn't on the menu, don't just say nothing!
Hi there, can I place my order?
Oh! Are we about to witness a family drama?- Mydei: ...Oh, it's you, (Trailblazer).
- Gorgo: You're Mydeimos's friend, right? Haha, so many people have been visiting these days. Who knew he has so many friends?
- Gorgo: Why don't you stay and join us for dinner? Don't worry, we're not having any family drama.
- Gorgo: We just found out that a past Mydeimos... suffered a great deal.
- Mydei: There is no word for "suffering" in the Kremnoan language.
Kremnos's dictionary keeps getting thinner.
It's not in the recipe book, either.- Eurypon: The course of history can change in the blink of an eye.
- Eurypon: In my last life, after the battle with the Imperator on the Plains of Dolos, both Gorgo and I acknowledge the mission of Flame-Chase, finally freeing The Glory of Kremnos from the tears and blood of Strife.
- Eurypon: The survival of Kremnos... may not be worth more than the fate of the world. In my past life, I made too many mistakes, whether it was poisoning you, or casting Mydeimos into the Sea of Souls...
- Gorgo: Alright, enough with the reminiscing. I managed to get some juicy stories about you from the Oronyx priest earlier. If you keep getting all nostalgic in the new world, I might just share them with the people.
- Eurypon: What... memory are you referring to?
- Gorgo: Ahem, you once said... "Gorgo and I fell in love amidst the blood-soaked dust of the arena..."
- Eurypon: Stay thy tongue! I confess my fault, now prithee, grant me clemency.
Such a heartwarming interaction.
Getting a bit mushy, aren't we?- Mydei: ...
- Mydei: That's just how they are, sorry you had to see that.
- Mydei: Stay for dinner with us and share those stories of the starry skies. What would you like to eat?
- (Subsequent interactions)
- Mydei: Getting impatient? Dinner's almost ready.
A boring world without strife...
- Mydei: In my view, strife exists to end strife itself. Though it may be a necessary pain in this life, there will come a day of healing.
- Mydei: Besides, preparing each meal is just as glorious as winning battles.
- Mydei: These days, the world is full of creatures that should have gon extinct, which has greatly enriched our ingredients. It's quite fascinating for anyone passionate about cooking.
Is The Grand Restaurant about to open?
Time to charge into battle with a kitchen knife.- Mydei: Haha, your words are still as wild and fanciful as ever.
Do you still hate Eurypon?
- Mydei: ...
- Mydei: In my past life, before father murdered mother, he said: "Gorgo and I met and fell in love in the blood and dust of battle... So, allow me to bid her farewell personally in battle once more."
- Mydei: In this life, he said the same words... but that was when he fought alongside my mother, sacrificing himself on the battlefield in defiance against the Lygus.
- Mydei: As for my answer... I'm sure you already know.

I need to eat! Food!
- Mydei: Alright, let's hope your appetite is as big as you say it is.
- (Dome of the Stars, with Castorice and Cipher)
Main article: Castorice/Dialogue
- Castorice: Lord Mydei, what... what brings you here?
- Mydei: ...Castorice? Are you here for the event too?
- Castorice: Yes, but I had no idea that Lord Mydei would be participating too. Don't tell me you've also prepared some handicrafts?
- Mydei: Crafts? You mean ingredients? I'm also surprised that you signed up for the new Master Chrysos Chef Championship...
- Castorice: A—A Culinary Showdown? Isn't this supposed to be the 1st Amphoreus Handicraft Convention?
- Mydei: Huh?
Who the heck wandered onto the wrong set?
How have I not heard about either of these?- Castorice: I received an invitation addressed "Dear Miss Castorice," with the time and location of a handicraft exchange meeting, sealed with the Council of Elders' wax seal.
- Castorice: Huh. This wax seal... why does it have a grid-like reflective effect? When you look at it under the starlight...
- Mydei: Is it in the shape of Cipher's cat coin?
- Castorice: That's correct...
- Mydei: Sure enough, I also received an invitation in the same format. The letter mentioned that this time, there would be a legendary chef from another world beyond the sky participating, bringing new cosmic-flavored dishes. I let my guard down... I was careless.
Good thing it wasn't an arm wrestling contest.- Castorice: (Trailblazer), you still remember that arm-wrestling tournament Lady Cipher signed me up for.
- Castorice: But now, I no longer bear the authority of Death. These hands of mine probably can't defeat Lord Mydei anymore.
This kitty has gone bad.- Castorice: I should have known earlier that Lady Cipher would be up to her tricks, unable to resist playing her mischievous games in this new world to mess with everyone...
- Castorice: I wonder how many others Cipher has tricked with the same ploy... or could we be the only two who fell for it?
- A lazy voice drifted down from above.
- Cipher: "It's not that dramatic, I only prepared four letters! The other two are meant for our little deliverer boy and the tailor girl, inviting them to wear their self-coordinated new outfits to the new season's fashion exhibition..."
- Cipher: "Hehe, I can't wait to see the tailor girl getting headaches over our little deliverer boy's fashion sense! Meow Express, off we go!"
- Castorice: The voice faded away... Cipher sure is full of energy.
- Mydei: It's alright, I understand. Time flows peacefully in this new world, but an ordinary life doesn't mean it has to stay the same forever. She probably just wants to bring something fresh and exciting to everyone.
- Mydei: ...while satisfying her urge to pull a few mischievous pranks.
- Castorice: I haven't seen Lord Phainon dressed in yellow and purple either. I'm quite curious indeed.
What about the ingredients Mydei brought?- Mydei: If you don't mind, I can cook them right here and invite everyone to enjoy the meal together.
Guess who's not getting an invite?- Cipher: *voice only* "I haven't gone far yet! I can hear everything, Gray Mystery."
Perfect, let's have Master Mydei do the cooking.- Mydei: Sure, I'll adjust the heat to your taste.
What about the handmade stuff from Castorice?- Castorice: These are all things you're familiar with: bookmarks, cushions, and felt dolls. They're a bit rough around the edges because I made them in a rush, but I was hoping to exchange them with everyone at the meetup.
- Castorice: Hmm... But now, please allow me to take them back and refine them a little.
Time to look forward to the fashion exhibition.- Mydei: Well, I have a suggestion: for the good of your stomach, let's eat after we've seen Phainon's outfit.
- Castorice: Lord Mydei... is it really going to be that dramatic?
- (Subsequent interactions)
- Mydei: The world is now free from strife and sacrifice. Well done, Deliverer.
Wouldn't a world without strife be boring?
- Mydei: in my view, strife exists to end strife itself. Though it may be a pain this world needs, there will come a day of healing.
- Mydei: Besides, there is no word for "boring" in the Kremnoan language. Preparing a good meal is just as glorious as winning battles.
- Mydei: These days, the world is full of animals that previously went extinct, which has greatly enriched our ingredient inventory. It's quite a fascinating world for anyone who enjoys cooking.
The Grand Restaurant is about to open!
Time to charge into battle with a kitchen knife.
But there are still some tricky pranks...
- Mydei: Haha, there's an old saying in Castrum Kremnos: cats are either sleeping or causing trouble. I bet Aglaea will be the first to get restless and find the cat something to do.

Mydeimos, the Chrysos God-King of Chefs!
- Mydei: Well, that sounds just as grand as "The son of Gorgo will be crowned in blood." Very well, I'll accept this praise.
- (Dome of the Stars, with Phainon)
- Mydei: Yo!
- Phainon: Sup?
- Mydei: ...Isn't this the Blazing Sun that is destined to rise?
- Phainon: ...Isn't this the agony this world needs?
This is so awkward I wanna sink through the floor.
Is this a duo comedy act, Amphoreus chapter?
I'm here to join you.- Phainon: Hey partner, why don't you do that thing too, you know...
- Phainon: "But I am not the Deliverer—"
"But rather the Nameless who dwells among mortals—"- Phainon: Hmm, that's right, your spirit is even more fiery and intense than two of us combined!
Drats, he remembered it all.
That's the kind of line you should say during combat!- Phainon: Haha, saying stuff like that after saving the world, you do sound like an over-enthusiastic goofball.
- Phainon: But seeing him walk over with that smirk on his face, I knew he couldn't resist taking a few jabs at me... Ah well, some things never change.
- Phainon: Haven't had the chance to properly say "long time no see," Mydei.
- Mydei: ...It's been a while, Phainon.
- Mydei: I've heard that in the "Holy Grail War" beyond the sky, someone's deepest wish was to return to the past Aedes Elysiae.
- Mydei: Seeing you having such an intimate reunion with your kinship, I thought the Deliverer would only have time for family from the homeland, and would only get around to greeting old friends when you had some spare time.
- Phainon: Of course not! I saw you with Queen Gorgo and King Eurypon, and the scene was so heartwarming that I didn't want to disturb you.
- Phainon: Look, I even brought honey suncakes and grape pies made by my mom. They're just as tasty as the pomegranate goat milk from Castrum Kremnos.
- Phainon: Next time, why not take me to visit the former King and Queen of Kremnos and let them have a taste of Aedes Elysiae's specialties?
Didn't someone want to practice martial arts in Kremnos when he was a kid?
Didn't someone misspell "graype pies" before?- Phainon: Hey, hey, aren't we still partners? Even though I entrusted you with my memories and wishes, there's no need to reveal everything at a time like this...
- Phainon: Back then, my mind was filled with everyone else's wishes, while my own wish remained a complete blank. I just wanted to turn back the hands of destiny... to prevent what had yet to happen.
- Phainon: But now, I've found meaning in the blankness, and gradually, new desires are taking shape.
- Mydei: Being so roundabout isn't like you at all. Just tell us what you wish for directly. (Trailblazer) is also listening.
- Phainon: Um, Mydei, sorry, I want to formally tell you something...
- Phainon: Can you take me to your library again?
- Mydei: ...
- Mydei: My library has no locks. The key was placed in your hands the moment our promise was made.
Let me break it down: The promise still stands.
So your library is invite-only.- Mydei: Naturally, it's also open to the Deliverer from beyond the sky. Haven't you already read some of those articles?
- Phainon: Haha, really? That's fantastic!!!
- (Subsequent interactions)
- Mydei: The Deliverer from beyond the sky, this is for you too, "long time no see."
What kind of books do you have in your library?
- Mydei: First of all... Castrum Kremnos does have dictionaries. Though not as extensive as the Grove's, they're far from what people assume them to be.
- Mydei: I heard Dan Heng has been updating the Astral Express's data bank. If you're bringing some beyond the sky, I'd recommend Ptolemy's early writings on the History of a Hundred Nations.
- Mydei: If it's Phainon, he'd probably get lost in the appraisal manual. By the way, I should also get him a copy of How to Read the Air in Castrum Kremnos.
Now, we are all Deliverers.
- Mydei: If that's the case, "Deliverer" is not a crown of a signet, not a unique symbol of power, nor some precious honorific. It is a destiny to be fulfilled... or one that has already been fulfilled.
- Mydei: Now, when I call you or Phainon the "Deliverer," there's no trace of mockery in my words, nor any of that burdensome reverence...
- Mydei: ...Just a sense of peace. As if seeing an old friend from afar, and calling out to them.
