Consecrated Beast

Consecrated Beasts are an elite enemy group. While the majority can be found in Sumeru, they can also be found in Inazuma and Fontaine near the remains of gods or similarly powerful beings.

They are wildlife that have grown larger and stronger as a result of mutations from eating greater lifeforms, such as gods and surviving the highly painful process. As a result of being unable to fully consume said lifeforms, they have grown bone-like features across their bodies.

In combat, they perform aggressive and high-damage elemental attacks. Upon spotting a player, they will immediately enter a Phagocytic Form, which increases their RES. They will periodically exit this state after performing a special attack, releasing a Phagocytic block in front of them when this occurs. The block can be destroyed with elemental attacks, though using one corresponding to the beast's element will destroy it in a single hit. Once the block is destroyed, a unique buff will apply onto the active character; attacking the beast with this buff will deal a set amount of their HP as DMG and briefly stun them. If the block is ignored or the buff is not used in time, the beast will immediately reenter its Phagocytic Form.

  • A Consecrated Red Vulture and Consecrated Horned Crocodile on Elynas in Fontaine.
