Abilities

Deepdark Shield
Upon entering combat, roars and generates a Deepdark Shield, which protects it from DMG and enhances its abilities. The Deepdark Shield's durability is equal to 200% Max HP the first time it is generated, but reduces to 50% Max HP for subsequent generations. The Deepdark Shield can only be damaged via Elemental DMG. Lunar Reaction DMG dealt to the shield are multiplied by 300%. Kuuvahki currents can also damage Deepdark Shields. The weak currents generated by Glimmerfruits and Mandragoras will deal very little damage, while the strong currents generated by Spireblooms and Slothsheep will damage the shield significantly. Fishers are almost always encountered in groups, and when one activates its Deepdark Shield, the rest will activate theirs in turn and link with each other. If the Deepdark Shield of one Fisher is destroyed, the other Fishers' Deepdark Shields will also be destroyed regardless of their remaining value, and they will be pulled towards the Fisher whose shield broke first. All Fishers in that group will be briefly stunned when this occurs. If only one Fisher is remaining in the group, it will no longer create a Deepdark Shield for itself.

Tutorial

Fisher of Hidden Depths: A swarm of monsters that surged through the Rift of Hidden Depths. When several Fishers of Hidden Depths are present on-field, their connections to one another will form Deepdark Shield(s). The shield(s) can only be broken by Elemental Attacks or reaction DMG. Lunar Reaction DMG is especially effective at breaking the shield(s).
When the Deepdark Shield of one of the Fisher of Hidden Depths is broken, the monsters' shared connection causes all Deepdark Shields within the swarm to shatter. The entire swarm will then be grouped around the Fisher whose shield was broken.

Descriptions

An Abyssal creature that slips through rifts in the hidden depths, crossing over from beyond this world.
Long ago, an ancient philosopher described humans as "featherless bipeds," using that simple phrase to distinguish mankind from animals and assert human superiority. In some sense, these deathless wanderers of the silent cosmic void, scaled instead of feathered, and using their hooked beaks to draw in biomass from world to world, might actually also match that same simplistic definition of "human."
