In the long-term use of the weapon, it will continue to absorb the Houkai energy, thereby awakening one's consciousness, this state is called awakening. And because this situation is mostly seen on divine tools that have the power of gods, this state is also called Divine Awakening.
Each Awaken is considered as a god / godhead in the Babylon.

Awaken selection page
Awaken (or Kizuna in EN client) is one of the content where you can see the background information of character and their side stories. Players can set their owned Awakens as 1 of 5 main menu backgrounds.
Most of gear awakens does reward crystals and resonators when reaching certain amount of intimacy. Some gears may have multiple different awakens depending on upgrade so it is suggested to clear all rewards before reaching next Awaken.

Characters with Live2D will be unlocked immediately after owning the Playable characters version of them.
- Ling Yi's Live2D can be unlocked by performing 1 Gold/Witch Gacha
