Pegana
Last updated 2026-08-15

Pegana is the isolated[1] home world of Akivili, Aeon of Trailblaze and the eventual destination of the Astral Express.[2]
Overview
Records of Pegana were long lost to the erratic rhythm of the Amber Lord's hammer strikes. Yet certain living fossils might still recall this tongue-twisting name from the tall tales they heard in their youth: the isolated world of Pegana, home planet of Akivili.
The Aeon of Trailblaze keeps the secrets of THEIR homeland close to the chest, which has only set imaginations running wild. Working backward from when Akivili first set out, Pegana likely vanished from history sometime around 1100 AE. Some say the ancient kingdom was brought down by a conspiracy, and that Akivili, now a destitute exile, vowed to get revenge and to restore THEIR lost homeland to its former glory. Others say it was once an empire mightier and more fearsome than Glamoth itself, one that met its end in the wreckage of its own overreaching ambitions.
Perhaps the closest to the truth are the Nameless of the Trailblaze. After Akivili's fall, THEIR followers discovered within a corner of the Express a set of blueprints for some manner of humanoid colossus. The current Navigator named this legacy the "Starblazer," and brought it to life once more through the art of imagenesis. This much, at least, is certain: In that age when humans and Leviathans walked side by side, a host of iron giants once wielded their staggering might to till and forge the cosmos on behalf of their builders. Whether that was a peaceful trailblaze or a bloody conquest, no one living can say.
Regardless, Akivili never returned to the ancient kingdom during THEIR lifetime. And beyond Planarcadia, no sighting of a Starblazer mech has ever been recorded anywhere else in the universe, not to this day.
"For the Nameless of today, it represents more of a land en route than a fallen empire."Description
Pegana was the original departure location for Akivili and THEIR Astral Express. The Trailblaze Calendar is said to come from Pegana.[1]
