Last updated 2026-08-31
Gorgo is an NPC on Amphoreus, located in "Bloodbathed Battlefront" Castrum Kremnos's and "Dragonbone City" Styxia's Fragments of Recollection and Beyond Time: An Eternal Page.
She is the mother of Mydei and wife of King Eurypon.
Profile
Queen Gorgo was described by Krateros as a "ferocious but kind warrior" who treated every child in the tribe as her own.[2] Gorgo named herself after King Gorgo, "Conqueror of Lions", after achieving the same feat as them by slaying a lion with her bare hands. She is described as a "determined and talented" warrior by Eurypon. She died before the events of the game, having been slain by her husband, King Eurypon, after being poisoned.

Listen- The placement of the afterimages seems a little off... Perhaps the environment here is different now to how it once was.
- Eurypon: Hah, the Kremnos Festival is really something this year... To think that the only person to break through the siege and fight their way to me was such a young and rather frail-looking warrior?
- Gorgo: King Eurypon, do not underestimate this frail-looking warrior who stands before you. My name is Gorgo. I have come to claim the one wreath. Even if it is you who stands against me, my spear will not hesitate.
- Eurypon: Your name is Gorgo? Haha! Your parents have some arrogance! Do they not know that was the name of the one that built Kremnos?
- Gorgo: It was not my parents who named me this. I once killed a lion with my bare hands, achieving a feat similar to that of Gorgo: "Conqueror of Lions."
- Gorgo: From that moment on, I changed my name to Gorgo. I will follow the example of that previous ruler and carve out a glorious new future for Castrum Kremnos with my own blood!
- Eurypon: Very well... Then raise your spear, Gorgo!
- The spear of Gorgo and the blade of Eurypon clashed, and they struggled against each other on the battlefield like two clones of Nikador, as blood and dust streaked through the air.
- After a few rounds of battle, both warriors came to a halt. Eurypon's thigh had been pierced by Gorgo's spear, and the wound on Gorgo's throat threatened to take her life if it grew an inch deeper.
- Eurypon: ...
- Gorgo: ...
- Eurypon: Gorgo, you have truly exceeded my expectations.
- Gorgo: Just what I would expect of a king... Now that you cannot move, and my weapon is out of my hands, I fear that we must call this a draw. Though I'm certain that I have earned myself that wreath, have I not?
- Eurypon: ...No.
- Gorgo: My king, if you are not yet satisfied... Then take my head as the king... However, this has nothing to do with victory or defeat. The battle is over, and I just simply do not wish to shed meaningless blood.
- Eurypon: ...You misunderstand me. Just now, if you had managed to last ten rounds against me, the crown would be rightfully yours.
- Eurypon: If your spear had pierced my throat or my heart, you could have taken the crown and been bathed in the blood of Kremnos as the new ruler.
- Eurypon: However, we are matched in both skill and will. Bathed in the light of Nikador, we both sow the seeds of the five great virtues.
- Eurypon: ...Gorgo, would you wear the crown as Queen of Kremnos, wield your spear and shield by my side, and defend the glory of Castrum Kremnos with me?

Listen- The placement of the afterimages seems a little off... Perhaps the environment here is different now to how it once was.
- Eurypon: We will hold a coronation ceremony here, in the Lance of Fury's temple where Nikador tempered the divine blade.
- Eurypon: Krateros, warrior of Kremnos, has demonstrated the five great virtues of Kremnos during this festival, fighting with great spirit and spreading blood and death.
- Eurypon: Unfearing of blade at the throat, manifesting the visage of courage.
- Eurypon: Unyielding to conniving treachery, protecting the crown of honor.
- Eurypon: Unblinking of eyes burning bright, upholding the cornerstone of reason.
- Eurypon: Unbending from wounds to flesh, forging characters of tenacity.
- Eurypon: Undaunted of risking life to protect, embodying corpus of sacrifice.
- Eurypon: ...I bestow unto you the title of Watcher of Warriors. Krateros, will you accept this name?
- Krateros: It would be my greatest honor. I, Krateros, would give my life and defend your side, like iron wings that hold tight the honor of Kremnos.
- Gorgo: Krateros. You stood tall over thirty rounds against the hand of Eurypon. You stand as the most courageous of all warriors. As Queen of Kremnos, I bestow unto you a special duty...
- Gorgo: Mydeimos, the prince that I carry in my body, will be born to this world in a number of months. He has inherited the iron bones of myself and King Eurypon and been bathed in the divine light of Nikador day and night. He must become the new King of Kremnos.
- Gorgo: When that time comes, would you become his mentor? Teach him martial arts, protect him from malicious plots, and give your life to protect his throne when he becomes king, as you have with King Eurypon?
- Krateros: This... My Queen, I would not dream of disappointing you with such an earnest request.
- Eurypon: Hah. Gorgo, are you so certain that Mydeimos will be able to take the crown from my hands?
- Gorgo: Do not be ridiculous, Eurypon. You have more faith in Mydeimos than anyone.
- Eurypon: Hahaha! I cannot hide anything from you. If there were anyone in this world that could kill me, it could only ever be our child.
- Eurypon: If he will truly bear the future of Castrum Kremnos, what does it matter if he takes my head?
- Gorgo: Silence, Eurypon. You wish for him to commit patricide like yourself? You are not to forget the promise you made me.
- Eurypon: Ahem, I was kidding, just kidding! Krateros, master primus of the Watchers. From this day forward, you shall be Mydeimos' mentor. When the time calls, your loyalty to him shall supersede your loyalty to even me.
- Krateros: Very well, King Eurypon, Queen Gorgo.

Listen- Ghost I: My friend... stay here. Remain in the nether realm with us and savor this eternal, serene moonlight together...
- Ghost II: Warrior, lay down your arms... There's no need to return to the bloody battles of that noisy mortal world. That burden is no longer yours to bear...
- Ghost III: Crown prince... is that you? Are we still on the march to conquer Aidonia? Look, the snowy plains are stained red, littered with limbs... Did we win?
- Mydei: ...
- Ghost III: Crown prince, why do you ignore me? Why do you stay silent before comrades who died loyally for you?
- Mydei: ...I'm sorry. I cannot... turn back.
Listen- Eurypon: Valorous death before glorious return. My son, you refused to fall in combat and insisted on returning to the mortal world. Do you still dare call yourself a Kremnoan?
- Eurypon: Think you still have the right to sit upon the throne of the great kingdom that you destroyed? I don't think so.
- Mydei: ...Shut up.
- Eurypon: Since when did the Kremnoans grow so weak as to become someone else's quiet support? After all, you and I both thrive on strife and fear...
- Mydei: Get lost...!
- Gorgo: Mydeimos...
- Gorgo: Don't stop moving forward. I don't remember ever teaching you to be "weak."
- Mydei: ...Mother... but we... never met...
- Gorgo: Mydeimos, stand tall, and let your steps move forward! The bloodline of Gorgo flowing within you shall guide you home...
- Mydei: Mother...?
- Gorgo: Stand tall... bloodline... guiding you home...
- Mydei: ...
- Mydei: ...Hah. A world on the verge of collapse. Gorgo's son will be here at once—
- Mydei: Hope I didn't keep you waiting too long.

- Mydei: What would you like to eat today? I'll be the chef.
- Gorgo: Pomegranate juice grilled Dulu bird cutlets! I just can't forget that taste!
- Eurypon: ...
- Gorgo: Darling, don't just stand there. What would you like to eat?
- Eurypon: ...I'll have the same as your mother, Mydeimos.
- Mydei: ...
- Eurypon: ...
- Gorgo: ...What's with you two? "..." isn't on the menu, don't just say nothing!
Hi there, can I place my order?
Oh! Are we about to witness a family drama?- Mydei: ...Oh, it's you, (Trailblazer).
- Gorgo: You're Mydeimos's friend, right? Haha, so many people have been visiting these days. Who knew he has so many friends?
- Gorgo: Why don't you stay and join us for dinner? Don't worry, we're not having any family drama.
- Gorgo: We just found out that a past Mydeimos... suffered a great deal.
- Mydei: There is no word for "suffering" in the Kremnoan language.
Kremnos's dictionary keeps getting thinner.
It's not in the recipe book, either.- Eurypon: The course of history can change in the blink of an eye.
- Eurypon: In my last life, after the battle with the Imperator on the Plains of Dolos, both Gorgo and I acknowledge the mission of Flame-Chase, finally freeing The Glory of Kremnos from the tears and blood of Strife.
- Eurypon: The survival of Kremnos... may not be worth more than the fate of the world. In my past life, I made too many mistakes, whether it was poisoning you, or casting Mydeimos into the Sea of Souls...
- Gorgo: Alright, enough with the reminiscing. I managed to get some juicy stories about you from the Oronyx priest earlier. If you keep getting all nostalgic in the new world, I might just share them with the people.
- Eurypon: What... memory are you referring to?
- Gorgo: Ahem, you once said... "Gorgo and I fell in love amidst the blood-soaked dust of the arena..."
- Eurypon: Stay thy tongue! I confess my fault, now prithee, grant me clemency.
Such a heartwarming interaction.
Getting a bit mushy, aren't we?- Mydei: ...
- Mydei: That's just how they are, sorry you had to see that.
- Mydei: Stay for dinner with us and share those stories of the starry skies. What would you like to eat?
- (Subsequent interactions)
- Eurypon: ...Gorgo, you know, in every life, I've always wanted to be a worthy king... and a worthy father.
- Gorgo: Why are you whispering? Go tell Mydeimos to his face. At least in the end, you became a better person, just like you wanted.
