Bane of All Evil

Xiao (Chinese: 魈 Xiāo) is a playable Anemo character in Genshin Impact.

He is an adeptus, under the name Alatus (Chinese: 金鹏 Jīnpéng), and the sole surviving member of the five foremost Yakshas dispatched by Morax to subdue the demonic spirits that plagued Liyue. He currently resides at Wangshu Inn and mostly restrains himself from large crowds and social interactions.

Xiao lunges forward, dealing Anemo DMG to opponents in his path.
Can be used in mid-air.
Starts with 2 charges.

When this skill hits at least one enemy, it generates 3 Elemental Particles.
- No elemental particles are generated while the Elemental Burst Bane of All Evil is active.
A Plunging Attack can be performed immediately after using this skill if it was used after jumping, regardless of Xiao's altitude.
When this skill is used above water from a height that is double the jump height and waiting till the ending animation of the skill is played before using the skill again, Wet will be applied to Xiao despite not being close to the water.

Passive Effects

Passive Talent 2, Dissolution Eon: Heaven Fall: "Using Lemniscatic Wind Cycling increases the DMG of subsequent uses of Lemniscatic Wind Cycling by 15%. This effect lasts for 7s, and has a maximum of 3 stacks. Gaining a new stack refreshes the effect's duration."

Xiao dons the Yaksha Mask that set gods and demons trembling millennia ago.

Yaksha's Mask

Greatly increases Xiao's jumping ability.
Increases his attack AoE and attack DMG.
Converts attack DMG into Anemo DMG, which cannot be overridden by any other elemental infusion.

In this state, Xiao will continuously lose HP.
The effects of this skill end when Xiao leaves the field.

While donning the Yaksha Mask, Xiao's Interruption Resistance is also increased.
The increase to Xiao's jumping ability not only increases the jump height, but increases the speed of him jumping upwards. This does not increase his falling speed.
Xiao can perform about 10 Plunging Attacks over this skill's duration.
Xiao's Plunging Attacks have their AoE increased, producing multiple spears from the ground around where he lands as a visual enhancement.
In this state, Xiao's Elemental Skill, Lemniscatic Wind Cycling, will not generate elemental particles, though all other sources still generate energy normally.

While under the effects of Bane of All Evil, all DMG dealt by Xiao increases by 5%. DMG increases by a further 5% for every 3s the ability persists. The maximum DMG Bonus is 25%.

Casting Bane of All Evil grants the initial 5% damage bonus and an additional 5% damage bonus every 3 seconds afterwards. The maximum damage bonus is granted after 12 seconds.

4th Ascension Passive

Using Lemniscatic Wind Cycling increases the DMG of subsequent uses of Lemniscatic Wind Cycling by 15%. This effect lasts for 7s, and has a maximum of 3 stacks. Gaining a new stack refreshes the effect's duration.

Character Description

Xiao can use his Elemental Skill to quickly shuttle across the battlefield, dealing Anemo DMG to enemies in his path. This skill can also be used in mid-air.
When Xiao uses his Elemental Burst, he will don the Mask of the Yaksha. During this time, his jumping power will increase greatly, while his Normal Attacks, Charged Attacks, and Plunging Attacks will deal Anemo DMG instead.
However, he will continuously lose HP during this time, a state that will end once Xiao leaves the field.
