Some people just can't seem to go a single day without stirring up trouble.

After many days of investigations, I finally captured a perpetrator behind a smuggling case and gave him an unforgettable interrogation as a gift.

Working off of the clues he revealed would make things much easier. If you ask me, it's unfortunate that they let this drag on for so long.

Anyway, now that the case is closed, I can finally have a good rest.

I'm done with thinking for today, and I hope people can spare me the pleasantries. Finding a quiet place to have some tea sounds like a better idea... You're welcome to keep me company.

Of course, I won't be telling you the details of that case. But as for anything else, we can talk about them in detail once we meet.

I recently tossed the dice on a whim, and rolled "growing flowers" off the list.

Now, since having a bit more color around the house couldn't hurt, I picked up a few sprigs from the flower market.

But not long after I potted them, a pile of hard-to-crack cases ended up on my desk. I was tied up for months, I barely even had time to water them more than a few times. I assumed they'd be far too parched to flower, but they turned out to be more resilient than I thought, and stubbornly budded. I guess the old saying "fearlessly the petals vie, the biting cold they deny" was inspired by tenacious little flowers like these.

Premium tea's already brewed, so if you'd like to admire them with me... Better hurry.

I have to say, my recent intel gathering has been going swimmingly indeed... Minus the wails of a few choice individuals.

But never mind them. I found our chats quite lovely. And after all that, I think I deserved a vacation, wouldn't you agree? Fontaine's proven to be a great choice. The theater performances were truly spectacular. Good thing we don't have many ne'er-do-wells who can act half as well, though, or my work would be much trickier.

I had planned to stay a few days longer, but unfortunately, a tip reached me early. Guess it's curtains for this ordinary tourist.

This "bargaining chip" of theirs had better be worth interrupting my holiday for. Otherwise... Ah, who knows~

Oh right, before I let work drag me off, I got some souvenirs for you. They have my seal of approval. Try some, but not too much - sweet things should be savored slowly.

I've recently come to Nod-Krai on business. The waves along the coast are rougher than I expected. But the "fish" here are surprisingly plump, which always attracts all sorts of "anglers."

Fishing is an elegant pastime, and there's nothing wrong with folks seeking what they need. The only thing is, there aren't many rules out here, and both live and dead bait are used by anglers. Also, the mix of long and short lines here often causes tangles once movement beneath the surface is detected. Pull too hard, and at best the line snaps and the fish escapes; in the worst case, you might even get a cut or two. But if you slip, you could even end up in the water...

I've always been a firm believer in choosing the right bait and fishing spot, staying patient, and, when the moment is right, reeling in swiftly and decisively to avoid complications.
