Release Date: October 22, 2020. miHoYo released Patch Notes for version 1.0.1 on the forums for a few additional changes after released but before Version 1.1.

Optimizations

  • Optimized the PC client and increased miHoYo Account security
  • Increased the stability and security of our servers.

Fixes

  • Fixed an issue where the Elemental Reaction "Shattering Ice" had a small chance to not properly stack with other Critical Hit-boosting effects.
  • Fixed an issue where certain bushes would produce abnormal effects under specific circumstances.

New Additions

New content that had not been available in the Closed Beta Tests was added to Version 1.0.

  • On the Chinese server, the "PC Technical Open Beta Test (Not Delete Data)" (Chinese: PC版技术性开放测试（不删档） PC Bǎn Jìshùxìng Kāifàng Cèshì（bù Shāndàng）) is a large-scale technical test conducted to ensure the smooth launch of Genshin Impact's Official Launch. The specific timeline (UTC+8) is as follows: [1]
    • September 13, 2020, 10:00 AM — Pre-download becomes available on the official Genshin Impact website[2]. The system requirements for this test are consistent with the PC requirements for the Official Launch[3].
    • September 15, 2020, 10:00 AM — The test begins. Travelers can participate in this test on the PC platform. Corresponding data in the same game account will be fully retained and will achieve data interoperability with mobile devices upon the Official Launch on September 28. At that time, Travelers will be able to continue playing on mobile phones or tablets.
      The server for this test is "Official Server - Celestia" (Chinese: 官方服务器-天空岛服 Guānfāng Fúwùqì-Tiānkōngdǎo Fú), which can be logged into using miHoYo or TapTap accounts[4].
      Launch events include Wanderlust Invocation, Beginners' Wish, People's Choice, Permanent Bundles, Battle Pass Catch the Wind, Mail/3M Global Pre-Registrations Milestone Reward[5], Mail/10M_Global_Pre-Registrations_Milestone_Reward, and Wings of Companionship (Event).[6]
    • September 28, 2020, 08:00 AM — The server enters maintenance. After maintenance is completed, it will launch the Official Launch alongside the iOS, Android, and PS4 platforms.
    • September 28, 2020, 10:00 AM — Genshin Impact launches its global synchronized Official Launch (PS4, iOS, Android, PC).
      On the official server, due to PSN account restrictions, Travelers' game data on the PS4 platform is not interoperable with accounts on other platforms and thus cannot be logged into via other platforms. Travelers playing on the PS4 platform can join the game worlds of Traveler friends on other platforms within the official server to experience rich co-op activities together.
      In addition, there is the "Bilibili Server - Irminsul" (Chinese: B站服务器-世界树服 B Zhàn Fúwùqì-Shìjièshù Fú) with independent data, which is logged into using Bilibili accounts.
