Chapter VI

Chapter VI, titled Babylon's Prisoner, is a Story pertaining to the mainline narrative, specifically Part 1.
Short Summary
Kiana and Cecilia battle their way to reach 2nd Herrscher while Theresa has to retreat after being called back by Overseer Otto. During their journey, Kiana finds and experiences strange events, namely a torn dairy detailing their ordeal separated from their mom, playing a game on a lift terminal as well as rewind time to where Kiana is trapped into the safe house baited by Cecilia after witnessing unfavourable outcome. Kiana tries very hard to change the outcome, until her friends come to get her out from her own vicious cycle, from Sirin's doing.

After defeating enemies on the ground floor of Babylon Labs, Theresa was called by Overseer Otto to discuss an important plan, leaving behind Kiana and Cecilia. Kiana discovers strange items in the facility - a damaged diary detailing their ordeal of having been separated from their mom and a key which activates a game on the lift terminal. These do not matter to Kiana as long as she gets to spend time with her mother .

Kiana is playing a minigame developed by Overseer Otto to improve Valkyrie concentration and reflex but never released to the public, with Cecilia guiding her.

After beating the game and moving further into the lab, Otto contacts Cecilia to inform her about the plan to launch a Honkai Fissile missile if she didn't manage to kill the Herrscher in time. Kiana recalls the Void's conversation about the missile that killed both the 2nd Herrscher and her mom and swears not to let that happen. Kiana follows Cecilia's instruction to cut the power off from the lab in the power room. After searching for a while, she couldn’t find the switch, only to find out that Cecilia lied to her so she can fight the Herrscher alone and keep Kiana safe in the safe room. Kiana is upset but tries to reach her mom.
However, when she arrived, Cecilia was already bleeding out on the floor with the Herrscher planning to kill Kiana next. Kiana recited the magic words (Ich✰liebe✰dich) in hopes of changing the outcome. The surrounding suddenly begins to change and Kiana finds herself back in front of the safe room.

Kiana is glad that her mom is still alive after time turns back and has no time to dwell on it except for finding a new exit from this safe room. After that, she fights her way through and manages to reach her mom's location in time before the Herrscher deals the final blow. Kiana manages to distract the Herrscher by using her pistol on her from behind and Cecilia takes the opportunity to attack with full force, inflicting large damage and causing the Herrscher to flee to a higher floor.

Deploy at least 1 MECH-type battlesuit(s).Kiana and Cecilia go deeper into the lab and discover a row of capsules, each with a child. The doctors that were once present erased their memories and emotions and turned them into weapons with enhanced Honkai capability. They also see a capsule named 051: Sirin and notes that the 2nd Herrscher is a victim of this place as well. Cecilia talks about her plan to start a school filled with these children so they can receive a second chance in life instead of being used as a weapon.
They reach the top of the tower where the weakened 2nd Herrscher is recuperating and Cecilia deals the final blow towards her. Kiana hugs Cecilia for her job well done and wishes that she could spend time with her forever, until Theresa arrives, shocked that Kiana is here in the dataspace, bragging about her victory. Kiana turns back to find that her mom disappeared and the surroundings quickly changed to a default dataspace map. Theresa tries to drag Kiana away but Fu Hua suddenly arrived and asks Theresa to stay back. She explains that this was all Sirin's doing, to manipulate Kiana with illusions formed from Kiana's desire to see her parents again.
Refusing to back down, Kiana recites the magic words “Ich✰liebe✰dich” in hopes of bring her mom back, and her Honkai energy spikes from within her body. Fu Hua says it's not her turn yet to change the world and prepares her battlesuit to wake Kiana up.

Durandal reports to Overseer Otto that the target, Kiana has been captured by Fu Hua while Theresa has been restrained. Otto reports back saying he wants the target but lets go of Theresa. Moments after they leave, Theresa reports to Ai-Chan, telling Himeko to prepare the battleship immediately to raid the Schicksal Headquarters to save Kiana and also transfer Bronya into the Hyperion for immediate surgery.
