Traces are skill trees that characters possess. Within the Traces menu, players can level up abilities, unlock Bonus Abilities, and increase stats.

The layout of Traces is determined by a character's Path, with Remembrance and Elation featuring completely unique stat distributions. These skill trees allow players to upgrade Basic ATK, Skill, Ultimate, and Talent, unlock three Bonus Abilities at Character Ascension 2, 4, and 6, as well as a total of 10 stat boosts distributed across three character-specific stats. In addition, the skill trees also include an already unlocked Technique. For Remembrance, these upgrades are further divided into Memosprite Skill and Memosprite Talent. For Elation, an additional upgrade, the Elation Skill, becomes available.

Currently, only three characters diverge from the standard Trace formula:
