Xingqiu (Chinese: 行秋 Xíngqiū) is a playable Hydro character in Genshin Impact.

He is the second son of the Guild Manager of the Feiyun Commerce Guild, an influential group in Liyue, and is also a self-proclaimed practitioner of the Guhua Clan's arts. Also an avid reader, Xingqiu aims to be the embodiment of chivalry like the heroes from the books he reads; however, this belies his knack for mischief.

Xingqiu performs twin strikes with his sword, dealing Hydro DMG. At the same time, this ability creates the maximum number of Rain Swords, which will orbit your active character.
The Rain Swords have the following properties:

When a character takes DMG, the Rain Sword will shatter, reducing the amount of DMG taken.
Increases the character's resistance to interruption.

20% of Xingqiu's Hydro DMG Bonus will be converted to additional DMG Reduction for the Rain Swords.

The maximum amount of additional DMG Reduction that can be gained this way is 24%.
The initial maximum number of Rain Swords is 3.
Using this ability applies the Wet status onto the character.

When this skill hits at least one enemy, it generates 5 Elemental Particles.
The damage reduction of each Rain Sword instance can be broken down as follows: (20% base) + (up to 9% from talent levels) + (up to 24% as a portion of bonus Hydro DMG), leading to a max of 53% damage reduced.
The additional DMG Reduction from Hydro DMG Bonus will snapshot Xingqiu's stats on cast and will not be affected by changes in his stats that occur afterwards.^[6]
The initial skill activation applies Wet to Xingqiu for 0.5s and wears off by the time the attack animation finishes.
Every 2.25s, orbiting Rain Swords will apply Wet to any enemies or objects that are in contact with your active character.
Rain Swords can be broken by damageless instances of knockback, such as Childe's Blast ability and Bennett's Charge Level 2 Passion Overload.
The shattering of Rain swords on his Elemental Skill has a cooldown of 1.5s before another rain sword can be shattered.^[7]

Passive Effects

Passive Talent 1, Hydropathic: "When a Rain Sword is shattered or when its duration expires, it regenerates the current character's HP based on 6% of Xingqiu's Max HP."
- With cooldown reduction or cooldown reset effects (such as with Sacrificial Sword), reusing the skill will prolong existing Rain Swords back to 15 seconds. This will not activate Hydropathic's healing effect, since the old Rain Swords did not shatter or expire.

Initiate Rainbow Bladework and fight using an illusory sword rain, while creating the maximum number of Rain Swords.

Rainbow Bladework

Your active character's Normal Attacks will trigger consecutive sword rain attacks, dealing Hydro DMG.
Rain Swords will remain at the maximum number throughout the ability's duration.

Sword rain attacks have a 1-second cooldown.
Rain Sword effects carry over from Xingqiu's Elemental Skill, Guhua Sword: Fatal Rainscreen. Increased resistance to interruption, damage reduction, and application of Wet status to enemies still apply.
- During this skill's duration, the maximum number of Rain Swords is maintained and the swords cannot be shattered or expire before the duration ends.
Rainbow Bladework generally hits only one target at a time but may hit multiple targets if they are very close together.
If the triggering Normal Attack hits multiple targets, Rainbow Bladework will aim at the closest or the first target hit.
Rainbow Bladework's Sword Rain DMG does not snapshot and will be affected by changes in Xingqiu's stats after Guhua Sword: Raincutter is cast.

Character Description

When Xingqiu's Elemental Skill hits opponents, they will form Rain Swords that protect him and his allies. His Elemental Burst activates Rainbow Bladework, which will immediately summon the largest possible number of Rain Swords, and launch consecutive attacks at opponents along with Xingqiu and his allies.
