Himeko's new form brought on by the Stellaron and the Trailblazer's wish.

Appearance

Similar to her original appearance, Himeko • Nova is a tall woman with bright red hair and golden eyes. Her knee-length, wavy hair now fades into black at the ends, outlined in white. A V-shaped hairpiece made up of gold stars and a white laurel secures her hair into a half-up style. On the right of her head sits a curved headpiece with white stars, attached to a red rose.

She wears a sleeveless, high-neck white dress with wing-like skirt panels, and a glittery ruffled red underskirt. Over top is a coat heavily cinched by a gold clasp, forming drapes at her waist. It extends into two long coattails with a constellation print at the hem, and an innerside featuring the same gradient as her hair. A collared cape follows the same general design, but is red with gold lining and tassels instead. Gold epaulettes sit on her shoulders, with the right one attached to a long tassel. Many smaller gold pieces adorn her attire, notably a crest on her collar, an eight pointed-star on her chest, and a tassel hanging from a white rose above her right breast. She wears a wrist-length red glove on her left arm, and an elbow length white glove with a red ruffle on her right arm. She accessorizes with astrolabe-like gold bracelets on her right wrist, and a singular eight-pointed gold star earring on her right ear.

Himeko • Nova sports a pair of gold pumps with red soles. A white strap with tails attached to a red rose is tied to her left ankle, and a gold zig-zag chain adorns her upper right thigh.

History

After the Trailblazer used their Stellaron and replaced their wish with Himeko's, a massive surge of Wishpower emerged. This allowed Himeko to don her new form and imagenate Starblazer once again, enabling the Astral Express crew to defeat Asat Pramad and stop his advances against Planarcadia.^[1]

Trivia

• Himeko • Nova's splash art bears a resemblance to the Honkai: Star Rail logo, as both feature a radiating starburst behind the central subject, long, sweeping arcs resembling the logo's curved trails, and the Astral Express in the background.
  • When Himeko • Nova activates her Ultimate, We, Too, Stride the Stars, the sound effect features the melody of "Star Rail."

• The release date of Version 4.4 and Himeko • Nova, July 15th, 2026, matches the Chinese release date of Honkai Impact 3rd Version 5.0 "Inherit the Flame" on July 15th, 2021, in which Kiana Kaslana inherited Murata Himeko's will and became the Herrscher of Flamescion.
  • During Trailblaze Mission Limelight, the soundtrack "Final Request" and the cutscene in which the Trailblazer manipulates the Stellaron to save Himeko feature the melody of "Nightglow" from Honkai Impact 3rd, the theme for the animated short "Final Lesson" in which Murata Himeko sacrificed herself to save Kiana Kaslana.

Etymology

• 启行 qǐxíng can translate to "take the journey." 启 qǐ means "to start" and 行 xíng means "journey."
