She has an optimistic and cheerful disposition and is a good listener. In this unstable dying world, she tries her best to shine the faint radiance of healing on others.
Profile
Hyacine, real name Hyacinthia, is a Skyfolk with ancestry in all three tribes, described as "a gentle warm ray of light."[1] As a physician in the Twilight Courtyard and assistant instructor of the Nousporists, she is a well-respected figure, acting as a symbol of hope. Known as Experimental Factor "EleOs252," among the Twelve Factors that make up the Amphoreus Experiment, she represents the Path of Preservation.
Appearance
Hyacine is a young woman with drill-like pink twin tails that reach her shoulders, which fade into cyan at the ends and are tied with fluffy cloud hair ties. She also has curly bangs with two longer locks of curled hair reaching her shoulders on either side. Her eyes are cyan with a sparkle-shaped reflection in her irises.
Hyacine's outfit consists of a sleeveless and layered white and burgundy dress reaching her thighs with scalloped edges. The upper layer has gold detailing and trim, with short, flared sleeves and a pink scalloped hem. The lower layer is slightly longer and has silver detailing with a trim. The dress has a white mantel collar with a silver pattern on the edges. A cyan bow in the middle, with a gold hyacinth ornament, the left tail of which is longer than the right. Behind she wears a burgundy cape featuring gold patterning and detailing, along with a baby pink inner. The cape extends to her knees in two separate parts, with two hyacinth ornaments attached to the ends. Around her waist is a black strap, the back attached to a pink bow held together by a gold clasp with a swirled pink and cyan pattern. There are two sets of tails in a pink and blue striped pattern. On the front left of the dress, Hyacine wears a plush keychain resemblant of Little Ica's head. She wears separate white puffy sleeves with gold lining at the top and white cuffs. A gold hyacinth ornament adorns both sides of the sleeves.
Her legs are clad in white pantyhose, and she sports black low-heeled loafers with black anklets adorned with burgundy bows. The loafers have pink soles and a gold hyacinth ornament on the ends of each strap, with the back of the bow also has a hyacinth ornament. She wears a burgundy beret with a white trim, decorated with wings and a golden half-halo with hyacinth ornament at the ends.
History
Eternal Recurrences
In all known Eternal Recurrences to feature Hyacine, she is born under the name Hyacinthia, finding companionship with the pegasus Little Ica. She pursues life as a physician in the rebuilt Twilight Courtyard, joining the Nousporists in the Grove of Epiphany.
Eternal Recurrence #1
During the first days of the Flame-Chase Journey, Khaslana and Imperator Cerydra struck a deal in which Khaslana would take all the Coreflames into himself, provided that he could slay each of the remaining Titans alone. As a result of this agreement, Hyacine was spared the duty of becoming the demigod of Sky before she had even been born. Thus, when the black tide eventually swallowed the entire world, Hyacine died as a mortal.[2]
Eternal Recurrence #823,156
Hyacine was able to claim the Coreflame of Sky, but was forced to merge herself far earlier than anticipated. To that end, she sent Little Ica with Phainon to the Vortex of Genesis, where they mourned her passing. Hyacine's decision to send Little Ica ultimately protected Phainon from death.[3]
Eternal Recurrence #8,668,666
During tests concerning Little Ica's appetite, a genetic mutation caused them to become eternally ravenous. Hyacine's tests, which had triggered the genetic mutation, were interrupted by one of the Three Hundred Rogues of Dolos, who stole Ica in an instant in an attempt to make money. Despite putting up flyers seeking aid in finding Ica, Hyacine was unable to locate them on her own.
Due to their mutation, however, Ica was returned to the Grove of Epiphany half a month later with a note explaining the motives behind their theft and return. Hyacine noticed that Ica's appetite had increased, prompting her to take them to the Caprists' Sage for assistance. The Caprists' Sage deduced that the genetic mutation was responsible and informed Hyacine that nothing could be done. Disappointed, Hyacine and Ica left the Grove to wander in search of a cure or a way to sate Ica's hunger.
After wandering for some time, Hyacine, herself starving, realized that Ica's diet had changed to include redsoil, much like a dromas, providing her with some relief. At an unknown point after this discovery, Hyacine came upon a fallen city-state and rushed to aid its inhabitants. Due to a misinterpretation of Hyacine's "final words," the dromas-sized Ica ended up consuming the black tide monsters attacking the city-state, satiating their hunger. From then on, the pair wandered the world under the moniker of "Twilight Knight," eventually returning to Okhema years later and meeting a very surprised Aglaea.[4]
Eternal Recurrence #23,570,000
Hyacine was able to claim the Coreflame of Sky at an unknown point in time, eventually becoming the sole remaining demigod on Amphoreus. By the time Khaslana found her, the black tide had already begun to consume her, yet she remained capable of holding a reasonable conversation. Hyacine deduced that Khaslana's fatal flaw was his perfection, as it prevented him from having wishes of his own. Khaslana was amused by her deduction but nonetheless refused to stray from his self-imposed duty. As such, Hyacine merged with Aquila, using her new form in an attempt to defend herself. However, the black tide's corruption and Khaslana's might proved too much for her, ultimately leading to her death.[2]

Background
Hyacine, like the rest of her family, was blessed by Seliose thousands of years before her birth as a result of a deal made with an Unnamed Chrysos Heir.[5] Over the centuries preceding her birth, ancestors such as General Ektra and Hyacine's grandmother, Jacyntha, fought to preserve the culture of the Skyfolk, but ultimately could protect only a small fragment of its potential.
When Hyacine was born, the original Twilight Courtyard had fragmented, the Skyfolk were nearing extinction, and the world was in need of healers as the black tide spread. She was raised on the stories of her people, given Little Ica as a companion, and taught that Seliose was her ancestor, a claim fabricated by the Unnamed Chrysos Heir. Upon reaching adulthood, Hyacine assumed the role of Head Nurse and rebuilt the Twilight Courtyard in the Grove of Epiphany alongside Little Ica and surviving Skyfolk such as Clementine.[6][7] During this period, she also joined the Nousporists, becoming an Assistant Instructor to Anaxagoras.[8]
Move to Okhema
In Year 4931, during the Month of Balance, Hyacine was sent to Okhema by the Grove to help heal those who had fought Nikador, inadvertently sparing her from the encroaching black tide. When Aglaea called the Trailblazer and Dan Heng for a meeting, Hyacine arrived and immediately befriended them, offering to serve as a tour guide for the Trailblazer's visit to the Grove. Although their initial reasons for traveling to the Grove were purely diplomatic and relaxed, the discovery of an injured scholar at the city gates changed their plans immediately. Hyacine elected to remain behind to care for the injured scholar while the Trailblazer, Trianne, and Castorice rushed to the Grove to save as many people as possible.[9]
Shortly after the group returned, Tribbie, Trianne, and Trinnon embarked for the Janusopolis to speak with Oronyx about the prophecy. However, they were ambushed by the Flame Reaver, forcing Trianne to use the last of her power to send Tribbie and Trinnon back to Okhema, where they were found by Phainon and Hyacine.[10] When Trianne and Krateros were later found, Hyacine was only able to save the latter.[11] By this point, Hyacine had relocated the remnants of the Twilight Courtyard to Okhema, a move she had already been planning before the Grove's fall.[7]
Battling Aquila
Hyacine, the Trailblazer, Dan Heng, and Phainon facing a corrupted Aquila.
In Year 4932, shortly after Aglaea's assassination, Hyacine and Phainon agreed to seek out Aquila and claim their Coreflame. Leaving her position as Head Nurse to Clementine, Hyacine and Dan Heng traveled to the Grove of Epiphany to undertake Hyacine's ancestral trial. Throughout the trial, Hyacine successfully appealed to the wills of her ancestors, including Ektra, Jacyntha, and Crispus, to receive their blessings in facing Aquila.[8] After receiving their blessings, Hyacine used the relic containing their wills to reforge the rainbow bridge, granting her and Dan Heng access to the Eye of Twilight. There, Hyacine received the blessings of Solabis and Lunabis, the winged beasts of Seliose, and learned more about her people and their fall.[12]
During the journey into the past, Hyacine and the others encountered a memory of Seliose's deal with Hyacine's ancestor, revealing the lie woven into her own bloodline. Despite the shock of this revelation, she chose to face Seliose for the sake of the Flame-Chase Journey, arguing that humanity was worth saving despite its flaws. Seliose, however, disapproved of her answer and attacked in anger. With no other option, Hyacine, Phainon, the Trailblazer, and Dan Heng fought back, nearly dying until Aglaea's remnant divinity intervened and saved them from harm. As they attempted to escape the collapsing fortress, Seliose was revived by the black tide and attacked the group once more. This time, however, Hyacine stood against the maddened Titan, ultimately passing the trial by proving her resolve and helping Phainon and the Trailblazer slay Aquila. As the maddened Titan began to fade, Seliose's will thanked Hyacine for proving her wrong, agreeing that humanity was worthy of "a new dawn."[5]
Ascencion and Death
Hyacine bidding farewell to her companions.
Despite their victory in claiming the Coreflame, Hyacine immediately sensed through it that the Dawn Device had been extinguished. With little time remaining to protect the people, Dan Heng opened a spiritwater gateway for Hyacine to the Vortex of Genesis, where she and Trinnon submitted the Coreflame and completed the true Trial of Sky. Having become the demigod of Sky, Hyacine bid farewell to everyone before merging herself with the mural, sacrificing her life to uphold Amphoreus' collapsing sky.[13]
Eternal Recurrence #33,550,337
Hyacine was born in Year 4297, in an era where very few humans remained in the world.[14] In year 4510, Hyacine ascended as the demigod of Sky, protecting the surviving members of humanity by keeping the sky afloat. By the Year 4602, all of humanity had gone extinct, and Hyacine's condition severely deteriorated. As such, she forced herself to merge with Aquila to continue her duties in death.[15][16] Hyacine's memory is witnessed by the Trailblazer in Year 4931, three centuries after her fusion and death.[15]
The Final Cycle
Hyacine and the Chrysos Heirs.
In the Final Cycle, Hyacine ascended as the Titan of Sky.[17] In the Year 4931, Hyacine appeared in mortal form within the Ruins of Time, with all memories of her lives in the Eternal Recurrence. Reuniting with her allies, she chose to turn herself into memories, allowing Cyrene to break Phainon's "Ego."[18]
During the climax of the battle against Irontomb, Hyacine and the other Flame-Chase Titans used their existences to help enact a cosmic-sized Era Nova on the world, reversing the damage done by the Lord Ravager.[19] Hyacine appeared once more on the Astral Express, where she took the time to reflect on all that has happened.[20] Afterwards, she and the other heirs returned to As I've Written, awaiting the rebirth of Amphoreus in reality.[21]
Cosmic Data Roaming
Hyacine and her allies were able to briefly contact Trailblazer during the events of Cosmic Data Roaming. During this period, Hyacine was supervising Anaxagoras' astronautical research with the fairies of the Membrance Maze, ordered by Aglaea to prevent Anaxa from doing any more risky experiments to himself or others. When asked about it, Hyacine reveals that Anaxa had previously strapped himself to the cockpit of a rocket to test it, something Anaxa dismisses as necessary.[22]
