Disco in Motion, Holiday Emotion!

UI Quest Quest Description

A courier from Natlan brings word inviting you and Paimon back to the Easybreeze Holiday Resort to take part in a one-of-a-kind "Dance Party"...
(On obtaining quest)
Paimon: Natlan's couriers have left us a message at the Adventurers' Guild. It says that the People of the Springs, Children of Echoes, and the Flower-Feather Clan are organizing a party at Easybreeze Holiday Resort.
Paimon: That sounds kinda familiar... Seems like it should be super fun! Let's look into it when we have time!
(Approach the marked location)
Enghiene: Something like this... and like that... Those little thieves will be on their knees crying for mercy...
Enghiene: At a moment like this, if you "accidentally" let one of them slip away, He'll [sic] panic and run back to report it — and you just quietly tail him...
Enghiene: Then, right when they're busy planning their next move, you kick down the door to their hideout and give them the scare of a lifetime!
Nusta: You make a very good point, Ms. Enghiene. When dealing with irredeemable criminals, unconventional methods are indeed necessary.
Nusta: Natlan isn't like Fontaine, with all those convoluted... ahem, "elaborate law enforcement procedures"! I'll make good use of that advantage.
Nusta: I already rounded up the remaining Saurian poachers earlier. I'll use your method and wipe out the smugglers to the north in one fell swoop.
Enghiene: And don't forget to give me the good news afterward. I'm really looking forward to it!
Enghiene: *sigh*... I'm no longer a member of the Maison Gardiennage. Under confidentiality regulations, Turenna can no longer report her work to me either.
Enghiene: Feels like I still have a few tricks I haven't shared with the people who could use them... Maybe I should just write a memoir?
Enghiene: Yes, a memoir sold exclusively to law enforcement all over the world! My 150 years of experience should be useful.
Nusta: I'm all for it! Once you've fully enjoyed this party and feel nice and refreshed, writing it is sure to go smoothly too...
Nusta: Then save me a signed copy!
Enghiene: You'll get the very first one! Once I've danced to my heart's content, I'll rent a typewriter as soon as I get back and start writing immediately!
Paimon: A Melusine and... Nusta?
Paimon: Now that's an unexpected combination. What are they talking about?
Icon Dialogue Talk White Sounds like an interesting conversation?
Icon Dialogue Talk White Sounds like they're talking about something pretty dangerous...?
Nusta: Alright! Our lead dancer is here — the great Tumaini! Let the party begin!
Nusta: First things first — big news! Our second dance party is now underway!
Nusta: And we've got new participants too: Ms. Enghiene from the Fontaine tour group, along with her three companions!
Nusta: Also, thanks to our "Uthabiti," Kachina, and the idol from Mondstadt, the Fontaine guests and the Ashas here have all learned brand-new dance moves!
Paimon: Wait, wait, wait... that's way too much information at once...
Paimon: So besides everyone from before and the little Saurians, there are Melusines and... Ashas joining the stage too?
Nusta: Exactly! Which means we get to dance to even more upbeat music and have even more fun!
Nusta: As the lead dancer, you'll also get to show how well you can adapt to any rhythm!
Icon Dialogue Talk White The greater the hype, the better the vibe!
Icon Dialogue Talk White The more the merrier!
Enghiene: Hold on, Nusta called you "Tumaini"... So you're THE Tumaini, (‍Traveler‍)?
Enghiene: The young warrior of the Children of Echoes who taught me to dance said her master is the great Tumaini of Natlan — and an amazing dancer too...
Enghiene: So after all that roundabout talk... it was you!
Icon Dialogue Talk White Then that makes me your grand-master, doesn't it?
Paimon: Pfft... guess Paimon's a grand-master too, then.
Enghiene: No way, no way! Why do I suddenly feel like I just dropped two ranks...?
Enghiene: Let's just each do our own ranking, okay?
Icon Dialogue Talk White Guess the Special Patrol Officer's intel network has limits too, huh?
Paimon: Exactly! Even an instructor like you slips up sometimes! How could you miss such important intel from a neighboring country?
Enghiene: Hey now, that's not fair. I don't operate outside my jurisdiction. Why bother with things that don't concern me?
Enghiene: Knowing too much can mess with your head, you know? It's all about managing your information load.
Enghiene: Anyway, dancing really comes down to talent.
Enghiene: Who knows — maybe I'm one of those protagonist-level geniuses. Give me two days, and I'll be dancing just as well as you.
Enghiene: Not that we need to compete or anything. I just mean... whatever the beat, whatever the trendiest moves, I can always keep up!
Paimon: Hehe, right! Dancing's all about having fun! Even if all you can do is sway to the beat, you're still part of it!
Nusta: Looks like everything's ready?
Nusta: If you want to catch up with friends first, they're all waiting for you over there!
Nusta: Or we can gather everyone here anytime, get the music going, and kick off the main event!
(Quest completes)
(Tutorial stage begins)

A Lighthearted Feast of Magic!

UI Quest Quest Description

As another dance party draws to a close, everyone seems to have gained something wonderful...
(After reaching 6000 Disco Dynamism)
Enghiene: Hey... Yah!
Enghiene: My head's already full of music — dance, dance!
Sedile: Sway, sway~
Manaia: So happy~
Moo: Krraaa!
Marine: Made some extra money too.
Enghiene: Huh? Since when?
Marine: Nusta was swamped, so I helped out her trainees and cleared out a few monster nests.
Marine: In Natlan, fighting and dancing are equally exhilarating. I like it.
Nusta: Thanks for that, Marine. I wanted the rookies to get more training, but they still couldn't handle that mission on their own.
Nusta: I'll make them train harder when we get back!
Marine: No need — they did great. Just didn't expect the nest to have seven times the estimated number of monsters.
Marine: And the Flower-Feather Clan pays pretty well. I even saved enough to get a gift for Aeval.
Enghiene: But your vacation's about over too, right?
Enghiene: A few more days, then I'll start thinking about booking the return ship.
Marine: No rush, we can still dance. Roxane, Letellier, Chenee, and Frejus have all been competing for jobs lately, so I won't steal their thunder.
Sedile: Then let's just keep dancing and keep having fun!
Manaia: When you're tired, eat. When you're full, sleep. No worries at all!
Moo: Raargh!
The Melusines and the little Koholasaurus lined up and bounced their way toward the stage.
Nusta: What a lovely group of guests...
Paimon: Hehe, looks like you're enjoying yourself too, Nusta.
Icon Dialogue Talk White Your smile looks so much more relaxed now.
Icon Dialogue Talk White And you even look a bit younger somehow.
Nusta: Really? Then I suppose I must attend every dance party from now on.
Nusta: I'll make sure those kiddos who call me "ma'am" or even "auntie"... will one day realize I'm younger than them in spirit!
Nusta: And I believe future dance parties should be just like this one — if anything, they should happen more often! I'm all for making it a monthly tradition!

Open-World Dialogue

Nusta

Available after completing Disco in Motion, Holiday Emotion!

Nusta: Used to it already, eh, (‍Traveler‍)? We've got Melusines and Asha joining our teams of dancers this time. Look at them go. Gives you a real cozy feeling, doesn't it?
Icon Dialogue Dance Dance Dynamic Disco Let's start the party!
Nusta: Ahaha! That's the spirit! Unleash that passion and rock your body to the beat!
Icon Dialogue Talk White Could I have a word real quick, Nusta?
Nusta: Oh yeah, sure. First off, I've got good news—
Nusta: Previously, I visited the Collective of Plenty to improve my boxing skills and enhance my core strength...
Nusta: ...And I wound up taking the chance to practice playing the drums. Pretty good at it nowadays, if I do say so myself!
Nusta: Master Iansan says that if I further improve my double pedaling and compound rhythms, I'll be able to play even more avant-garde pieces.
Nusta: So, if you're looking to put a crew together and can't find a drummer...
Nusta: I'd be up to help — if you'll have me, of course!
Icon Dialogue Talk White It seems we're missing some friends this time, aren't we?
Nusta: Hmm? Oh! You mean Taraneh and Uncle Scimitar?
Nusta: Ah, it's a shame, but they've been super busy lately.
Nusta: Something insane happened in Sumeru, and a huge relocation project was carried out in response.
Nusta: Fortunately, I've heard that the danger has passed, and that they've moved back to where they used to live.
Nusta: Moving's always a massive hassle, never mind if you've got to do it twice. Gotta sort your things, clean the house... Yeah, that stuff takes time.
Nusta: And given their personalities, I wouldn't be shocked if Taraneh and Uncle Scimitar went to help others out once they'd settled their own business.
Nusta: So instead, we've got some of the Blazing Beasts, who're having a rather relaxed time.
Nusta: I have no doubt that they'll be the first to show up next time, though. I'll have the wine ready for them — already do, in fact!
Icon Dialogue Talk White I'll swing by for a dance later.
Nusta: No problem! Feel free to try the awesome food we've got at the party. Nothing like getting in the mood for a jig first, right?

Barbara and Kachina

Available after completing Disco in Motion, Holiday Emotion!, before completing A Lighthearted Feast of Magic!

(Talk to Barbara or Kachina, one-time dialogue)
Kachina: Ah, Barbara. I've been giving it some thought, and I think there are some moves we could improve on...
Kachina: Y'know, to help our Melusine friends go with the flow more easily, and help the little Saurians time their moves better.
Barbara: Oh, sure. Let's check some medical books later and see how we can improve the motions that weren't designed for Melusines or Saurians, shall we?
Barbara: I'm sure we can come up with some bubbly, interesting, and easy-to-learn dance steps, just like last time!
Icon Dialogue Talk White Kachina and... Barbara?
Icon Dialogue Talk White Well, if it isn't my apprentice... and Mondstadt's idol?
Paimon: Well, this is an unexpected combination!
Kachina: Ah! (‍Traveler‍), Paimon!
Kachina: I thought it'd take longer for the news to reach the Adventurers' Guild, and for them to reach you from there...
Kachina: But I'm glad you're back so soon!
Kachina: It seems like couriers abroad are really efficient, huh?
Barbara: Hey there, Honorary Knight. You're finally here!
Barbara: If you'd arrived any later, the children would've finished listening to "Tumaini's Travels in Mondstadt."
Barbara: ...Albeit without all the fascinating things I'd need your consent to talk about.
Paimon: A—Ah, yeah... Like that whole bit with the Holy Lyre...
Icon Dialogue Talk White Looks like you're getting along just great here, hmm?
Barbara: I'd say I have Miss Mualani's passionate invitation and Kachina's patient introductions to thank for that!
Barbara: It's only been a few days at the Easybreeze Holiday Resort, but I'm feeling quite at home already.
Paimon: Isn't it just? A lazy day on a summer beach... Feels just like the Golden Apple Archipelago, huh?
Icon Dialogue Talk White Good going, Kachina.
Kachina: It's my pleasure! She's your old friend, and that makes her an honored guest here, too.
Kachina: I didn't do all that much, if we're being honest...
Kachina: But if you say I was a big help, then I'm glad I was!
Paimon: Speaking of which, this is a pretty huge get-together, isn't it?
Paimon: The venue was built just for this event, and we've got way more participants than last time — plus, they're from two extra countries!
Kachina: When we first started, Mualani only thought of inviting Miss Nilou and her friends from Sumeru, like last time.
Kachina: But various things happened, and new participants kept arriving...
Kachina: "Friends from Mondstadt" was something we thought might happen, but having Fontainians over sure was a pleasant surprise.
Kachina: Manaia, who's lived with the People of the Springs for many years now, has invited the Melusines from her hometown to be her guests.
Icon Dialogue Talk White Hahah, behold, the surging tides of friendship.
Paimon: What do you mean, "surging"...
Paimon: Oh... Oh!
Paimon: You mean... That once you have enough friends, surprises like these come surging out from time to time?
Barbara: Heh... This is the first time I've danced in front of friends from all over Teyvat. It's been a real test of my skills.
Barbara: It's also been incredibly fun, though!
Barbara: I hope you'll enjoy this very special party too.
Barbara: Some of the Melusines' and Saurians' movements were designed by Kachina and me.
Kachina: Well, you're the one who put in the most work... You even pointed out all those, uh... profound anatomy details!
Barbara: Oh, don't be so modest, Kachina. I still have a lot to learn from you when it comes to more intense dance moves.
Barbara: Well, if you think "Dance Event Choreographer" stands out a bit too much, or sounds a bit too load-bearing for the event's success...
Barbara: Let's be "Move and Groove Consultants" instead, shall we?
(Talk to Barbara)
Barbara: Hello there, Honorary Knight.
Barbara: I only found out upon arriving in Natlan how much everyone here respects you. I'd say it sometimes beats how much Mondstadters respect you as the Honorary Knight.
Icon Dialogue Talk White I just did what I could to help.
Barbara: Speaking of which, I'd like to give you a bit of advice as a friend—
Barbara: You can't always pour yourself into various commissions and focus solely on fulfilling the wishes of others.
Barbara: You've gotta take some time for your body and mind, too. Don't let that fatigue build up.
Barbara: You know... Like my sister does.
Icon Dialogue Talk White Thank you, Barbara.
Icon Dialogue Talk White I'll look out for myself.
Barbara: This kind of relaxing gathering works great for that. You could definitely stand to organize similar events when you're with your friends in other nations.
Barbara: I've never had the chance to see you dance or lead dances before today. So if you don't mind, I'll help myself to a seat in the audience.
Icon Dialogue Talk White I see you've made quite a few new friends, too.
Barbara: Yeah! Everyone in Natlan has been such a pleasant surprise!
Barbara: I didn't know that Miss Xilonen, who visited Mondstadt recently, was such a skilled craftswoman. I've heard that even the Archon goes to her to get tools made...
Barbara: And to finally join the Dance-Off Stage for myself... Ah, it's truly marvelous.
Barbara: The way the sound twists and pulses with each turn of the knobs, and those constantly flashing lights... It gave me chills, but that was a pleasant feeling.
Barbara: Miss Xilonen also gave me a record of some unique music. She said that Fontainian devices can also play said record.
Barbara: I'll make sure to listen closely to it once I get back.
Icon Dialogue Talk White Was Mualani the first to find you?
Barbara: She was... and well, let's just say that I'm still getting my bearings on that one.
Barbara: When I first received her invitation, my reaction was... Well... "Is this some new type of scam?"
Icon Dialogue Talk White "New type of scam?"
Barbara: Fortunately, as I read on, I could feel her passion through the words written on paper.
Barbara: I've heard my fair share of earnest prayers. Such sincerity, which comes from the heart, cannot be faked.
Barbara: And sure enough, when our caravan arrived at this stop, I saw her rushing over on a surfboard. That's when I knew...
Barbara: "This is the person I'm looking for. I'm sure we'll make great friends!"
Barbara: After that, she dropped all the work she had on hand and took me all the way from the People of the Springs to where the Children of Echoes live.
Barbara: We received some friends from Sumeru there, and then it was off to the Flower-Feather Clan to take a boat to this resort.
Icon Dialogue Talk White Sounds like a great time.
Icon Dialogue Talk White That's very like Mualani.
Barbara: It was like a dream...
Barbara: Of course, we've still got plenty of time, so I'll make sure to continue enjoying my trip.
Icon Dialogue Talk White How are things with Kachina?
Barbara: To be honest, she reminded me...
Barbara: ...Of me, when I'd just learned to dance.
Barbara: Ah, I'm not talking about her skills, but more her state of mind.
Barbara: She loves dancing, and she practices hard, but she still gets stage fright when she's in front of strangers.
Icon Dialogue Talk White Ah, you've noticed that as well.
Icon Dialogue Talk White She's actually improved a lot since we first met.
Barbara: Where dancing is concerned, her potential is well beyond her humble self-assessment.
Barbara: Really, it'd break my heart if we couldn't polish that talent like a gem.
Barbara: I'll share all that I've learned with her. Hopefully, that can help her overcome those little shortcomings of hers.
Icon Dialogue Talk White Have you spoken to Nilou?
Barbara: Of course! She's a famous dancer from Sumeru, you know.
Barbara: Even if I hadn't accepted this invitation, I'd have gone looking for her sooner or later — I am Mondstadt's idol, after all.
Barbara: Dance knows no boundaries, and an idol must always push hers.
Barbara: That said, we haven't gotten to know each other as quickly as I did with our Natlanese friends.
Barbara: Too many fun places to visit, maybe? Either way, we haven't had time to have a proper chat.
Barbara: Her dance steps, though, give you a sense of natural grace, like a flower bud in the midst of blooming.
Barbara: Dance steps are the most authentic way to reflect someone's personality, so I would guess that she's usually a quieter person...?
Barbara: I think perhaps a soft approach to getting along with her might work best, in that case.
Icon Dialogue Talk White I think you're easygoing to get along with, Barbara.
Icon Dialogue Talk White I don't think you need to worry so much about that.
Barbara: After all, she's a friend from Sumeru and a famous dancer, too. I'd think there might be some differences in our cultural customs and personal habits, no?
Barbara: Jean reminded me to take note of that... Before coming here, I borrowed some books to learn the basics on Natlanese culture.
Barbara: That said, I didn't have much time to learn about Sumeru in detail this time.
Barbara: I should do my research over the next few days, maybe ask Mualani a few questions...
Icon Dialogue Talk White Do be careful of heatstroke.
Barbara: Hmm... Are you worried that I'm wearing too many layers?
Barbara: Thanks! Still, I'm fine. The sea breeze here is really cool, and the temperature is quite different at night.
Barbara: I did ask my sister and father for their opinion before coming here, in fact.
Barbara: Jean felt that, as a Deaconess of the Church of Favonius, it would be best if I dressed formally for my first public appearance in Natlan.
Barbara: As for Father, he reminded me that the sunlight here can be very intense, so I should watch for that.
Barbara: That's how I came to this party in the same clothes I wear to church, despite the heat.
Icon Dialogue Talk White You have fun first, Barbara. I'll join you later.
Barbara: Alright. See you soon!
(Talk to Kachina)
Kachina: (‍Traveler‍)! Having fun so far?
Kachina: Barbara and Miss Nilou have nothing but high praise for Mualani's Mondstadt-Natlan fusion food. If you're tired or hungry, you should definitely try it!
Icon Dialogue Talk White I'm doing great! How about you?
Kachina: I, well...
Kachina: I'm kinda excited, actually.
Icon Dialogue Talk White Excited?
Kachina: Well, I've never really talked about dancing with friends from abroad before... Definitely not with two friends who're this amazing!
Kachina: Mualani told me all about Miss Nilou beforehand, so I knew what to expect.
Kachina: Speaking with her feels like you're listening to a lullaby...
Kachina: Err, not in the sense that you'd fall asleep, but more... that you're body and mind get so relaxed...
Kachina: She's slow, gentle, clam, and so reassuring...
Icon Dialogue Talk White That's quite true.
Icon Dialogue Talk White An astute analogy.
Kachina: Haha, I knew I was on to something!
Kachina: And then there's Miss Barbara. I was honestly a bit worried before meeting her...
Kachina: After all, I've heard that she's Mondstadt's most popular idol. That makes her a superstar, right?
Kachina: So I was thinking, would I upset her if I mess up in some way?
Kachina: Luckily, she turned out to be super easygoing as well.
Kachina: Her vibe is a bit different from Nilou's. She feels more like a... bubble?
Kachina: Light, floaty, and shiny! That's the feeling she gives off.
Kachina: Honestly, I didn't think I'd ever meet two more girls like Mualani.
Kachina: Y'know, people who could roll with every dance move I suggested on the first try!
Icon Dialogue Talk White Sounds like you've met your people, eh?
Icon Dialogue Talk White Make sure to hang out with them more, alright?
Kachina: Totally! I'll treasure this time we have for sure!
Icon Dialogue Talk White And how are you getting along with them?
Kachina: I... I realized that the two of them would mention all these techniques that I've never considered before...
Kachina: In terms of time spent dancing and the number of performances they've done... Both are way ahead of me.
Kachina: Though our dancing styles are different, I really want to learn from them and pick up new techniques.
Kachina: You've always taught me to push my limits and become a more well-rounded person...
Icon Dialogue Talk White Did I say that?
Icon Dialogue Talk White Huh. Strange, don't recall saying that.
Kachina: You've never said it directly, but I've heard adventurers from all over say that you can solve just about any problem.
Kachina: They also say that when it comes to... uh, academic qualifications, you would be rated as an expert in many different areas of study by artisans from Liyue, as well as academics from both the Sumeru Akademiya and that Institute thing in Fontaine...
Kachina: And isn't there a saying in Liyue about "leading by example"? Well, I think you are doing just that!
Icon Dialogue Talk White You've been learning a lot lately, Kachina!
Icon Dialogue Talk White Looks like we'll have to push ourselves more from now on, too!
Kachina: Haha, thanks! I'll do my best too!
Icon Dialogue Talk White I'll take a break first before continuing.
Kachina: O—Okay! Don't push yourself too hard, okay?

Mualani and Nilou

Available after completing Disco in Motion, Holiday Emotion!, before completing A Lighthearted Feast of Magic!

(Talk to Mualani or Nilou, one-time dialogue)
Mualani: Nilou, Nilou, look, the dessert this time is a sweet-sour berry roll based on Mondstadt's Apple Roly Poly, but with Quenepa Berry juice instead!
Mualani: You know, I've always thought that the sweetness of apples and that of Quenepa Berries would go together. Great opportunity to try it out, don't you think?
Mualani: It's also got Smetana from Nod-Krai in it. That should give it a unique texture.
Nilou: Nod-Krai?
Nilou: Miss Dori mentioned that many dishes from there have both some Snezhnayan flavor and their own distinctive touches...
Nilou: And at her store, premium Smetana costs 150,000 Mora a jar.
Mualani: Oh, Barbara brought the stuff. The Knights of Favonius in her hometown imported tons of ingredients from Nod-Krai, some of which I'd forgotten to buy previously.
Mualani: But 150,000 Mora a jar seems a bit pricey... How many watersports supplies could we purchase with that, I wonder?
Icon Dialogue Talk White Is that delicious food we're discussing?
Icon Dialogue Talk White Save some for me!
Paimon: One serving over here, too, please!
Mualani: Oh, sure... Whuh!?
Nilou: (‍Traveler‍)! Paimon! When did the two of you arrive?
Icon Dialogue Talk White About when you'd started talking about food.
Icon Dialogue Talk White Around the time when Smetana was brought up.
Paimon: That feels like it should be Paimon's line... Eh, whatever. You get to have it this time!
Mualani: Alright, then. The Captain of the Guard and Patissiere Extraordinaire will be with you shortly, brand new dish in hand!
Paimon: Sorry, what "Captain of the Guard"?
Paimon: Err... Oh, wait. This is something we were discussing previously...
Icon Dialogue Talk White And Nilou was the "Girl Next Door."
Icon Dialogue Talk White And Nilou was the "Magic Teacher."
Paimon: Yeah! Paimon remembers Mualani calling Nilou the "Friendly Magic Teacher Next Door."
Paimon: She uses her own gentle way to break down deep truths so they click for everyone!
Nilou: In that case, I suppose I'll try to play this role in earnest this time...
Nilou: A guest by the name of Sedile asked me some questions about dance music — for instance, about how to dance along when you hear a new song.
Nilou: In other words, how to "improvise" in music and dance.
Nilou: To me, this is almost a matter of instinct. I can just... find the right rhythm and a suitable style when I move.
Nilou: But I'm still not so sure how to teach those who might have no experience at all.
Mualani: Aw, don't worry too much about it, Nilou. Think about it this way—
Mualani: It's not entirely wrong to call Melusines fairies of the nation of Hydro, right?
Mualani: And fairies are really smart cookies, aren't they?
Mualani: And now that our lead dancer, (‍Traveler‍), has arrived, Miss Sedile and the Melusines can just follow (‍his‍/her‍) lead. They'll be fine!
Mualani: They'll pick the other basic dance moves up, easy-peasy!
Nilou: That's true... Last time, (‍Traveler‍), you used subtle guidance to get them to execute the right rhythms.
Icon Dialogue Talk White Heh, just watch me.
Icon Dialogue Talk White Call me the Master Melusine Mentor!
Paimon: Paimon wants to learn, too! If the dances aren't too hard...
(Talk to Mualani)
Mualani: Ya-ho! Hey there, (‍Traveler‍). Here's your "Dance Party Captain of the Guard," reporting in!
Icon Dialogue Talk White You've really gone all out this time, Mualani!
Mualani: Oh, you mean inviting Barbara?
Mualani: Hehe, wasn't it a pleasant surprise to see one of your friends from Mondstadt?
Icon Dialogue Talk White It was!
Icon Dialogue Talk White I almost thought I'd come to the wrong studio.
Mualani: If we had to do the math on this sequence of events... I guess we have Xilonen and Varesa to thank in the end?
Mualani: They have a friend in Mondstadt who sent a postcard with Barbara drawn on it to Nepecha...
Mualani: Xilonen handed me the card, and I did some asking around, which led me to finding this amazing dancer from Mondstadt!
Mualani: Once I knew, I just had to invite her over!
Mualani: Otherwise, I'd never be able to shake the feeling that we were missing a crucial piece in our dance party puzzle!
Mualani: We've had friends from the Knights of Favonius visit previously. They're bold and courageous, and they got along great with us People of the Springs.
Mualani: It just so happened that I met a knight I had made friends with back then, and got them to send a letter through the Adventurers' Guild, which was delivered to Barbara.
Mualani: Still, if we hadn't only just invited Nilou over from Sumeru and didn't have a million and one things left to set up...
Mualani: I would've gone to Mondstadt myself. I mean, that would've been the earnest thing to do, right?
Mualani: Not to mention how I've been curious about Mondstadt for some time now. It seems like tons of fun!
Icon Dialogue Talk White You're right on the money.
Icon Dialogue Talk White I wouldn't call it just "fun"...
Mualani: Anyway, I'm totally adding it to my list of tour destinations!
Mualani: After this dance party's over, I'll need to help Amina supervise the training of our new warriors...
Mualani: And if all goes to plan, I can continue touring once that's over.
Mualani: Look out now. You never know when I'll show up in a place both familiar yet unexpected, and surprise you!
Icon Dialogue Talk White Let's chat again later.
Mualani: Hmm? Is your spirit stirred to dance? Go on then! Show 'em what you've got!
(Talk to Nilou)
Nilou: You emanate joy today, (‍Traveler‍). I'm happy for you.
Icon Dialogue Talk White I'm happy for you too. You seem to have made some great new friends.
Nilou: Thank you, (‍Traveler‍).
Nilou: This time around, I've stayed in Natlan for more than half a month.
Nilou: Previously, it was my first time experiencing life outside Sumeru. I'd never even traveled very far at that time.
Nilou: And here at the Easybreeze Holiday Resort, I've experienced something quite different from my time with the People of the Springs.
Nilou: Natlan really is amazing. Each of the six tribes has its own musical styles...
Nilou: When Kachina took me on a tour of the Children of Echoes, I got to see their unique dance battles.
Nilou: Some of their moves are really impressive, like the one where they push off the ground with one hand and lift their body into the air...
Nilou: ...Or the one where they lie on their stomachs or backs and begin to spin rapidly.
Nilou: I never knew "strength" could be expressed through dance like that.
Icon Dialogue Talk White Everyone's got their specialties.
Icon Dialogue Talk White I mean, that's a whole different breed of dance there.
Nilou: Yes. I couldn't imagine what it would be like to do that dance for myself...
Nilou: Of course, it's probably not wise to force yourself to learn everything, but we can be open to new things, like Mualani.
Nilou: One's art must constantly seek nourishment to grow into something lovelier. Isn't that so?
Nilou: On that note, I think I've learned a thing or two thanks to Deaconess Barbara from Mondstadt as well.
Icon Dialogue Talk White From Barbara?
Icon Dialogue Talk White What did you learn?
Nilou: About the "energy" in dance.
Nilou: As you know, dancing was not supported in Sumeru in the past.
Nilou: This restriction has long since been lifted, but old habits die hard, you know?
Nilou: As such, our songs and dances continue to prize wisdom, elegance, and beauty, incorporating no exaggerated movements.
Nilou: Dehya says that this is what they call "cultural inertia." It's all a bit profound for me, though.
Icon Dialogue Talk White It takes years for perspectives to shift.
Icon Dialogue Talk White Widespread change takes more time.
Nilou: I see... So that's how it is.
Nilou: By contrast, Barbara seems much freer when she dances...
Nilou: ...It's very cute, I'd say.
Nilou: But — and I do think it's a shame that this happens — she seems a bit too polite when talking to me.
Nilou: Hmm, that's not quite right. Would "reserved" be a better way to put it?
Nilou: Is it because of her position? Or is there something else?
Icon Dialogue Talk White You're meeting for the first time, so maybe she isn't sure how to proceed.
Icon Dialogue Talk White Sometimes you've just got to take it slow.
Nilou: ...Is that so?
Nilou: Don't worry, I'll wait for her to be ready.
Nilou: I'd love to be friends with her, just like I am with Mualani.
Icon Dialogue Talk White Let's keep dancing, and keep the good times rolling!
Nilou: That's right! Let's recharge our spirits with this joyful music.

The Melusines and the Little Koholasaurus

Available after completing Disco in Motion, Holiday Emotion!, before completing A Lighthearted Feast of Magic!

(Talk to Enghiene, Manaia, Marine, Sedile, or Moo)
Enghiene: Dancing is so fun!
Marine: It's fun!
Sedile: It's super fun!
Manaia: Doesn't it make you happy too, Moo?
Moo: Whoooo~
Enghiene: Anyway, I'm so glad Manaia invited us all here on vacation.
Sedile: This place is wonderful. I'll be sure to come back often.
Enghiene: Hehe. I've saved up a ton of Mora.
Enghiene: So don't you worry — food, fun, it's all on me. Don't mention it!
Marine: Thank you, ma'am!
Enghiene: Hey, hey, none of them [sic] "ma'am" stuff. Call me Big Sis!
Melusines: Thanks, Big Sis Enghiene!

Available after completing A Lighthearted Feast of Magic!

(Talk to Enghiene, Marine, or Sedile)
Sedile: I've still got lots of vacation time. That said, don't you think the combat postings assigned to you are a bit much?
Enghiene: Eh, don't you worry about me. Once Turenna takes over from me as instructor, she'll bring in a new batch of skilled rookies. That should free both Marine and Roxane's schedules!
Marine: Next time Tidalga is brewed, I'll be able to return to the village early.
Sedile: And remember, don't bring any weapons with you. You won't have anywhere to place them in your house!
(Talk to Manaia or Moo)
Manaia: You won't be so sad anymore, will you, Moo?
Moo: Wooraarr...
Manaia: You have to live happily, you know. That's how you'll make Inna happy, wherever she is now.
Moo: Wrroah!

Barbara, Nilou, Kachina, and Mualani

Available after completing A Lighthearted Feast of Magic!

(Talk to Barbara or Nilou, one-time dialogue)
Nilou: ...That's why we have a little spice-flavored bean paste before eating desserts. It completely changes the taste experience.
Nilou: For example, Rose Custard, even the kind with sugar content reduced to one-third, will taste just as sweet as before, while its floral fragrance is intensified.
Barbara: Huh. The medical texts that Miss Glenfidia brought back from Nod-Krai also mentioned this...
Barbara: "Tiny amounts of spicy ingredients can activate one's sense of taste in various ways, enhancing the effects that seasonings have."
Barbara: Fontainian research also suggests that ingesting the right amounts of spicy ingredients can revitalize the body and quickly burn off extra energy.
Barbara: Hmm, in that case, those spicy appetizers that I brought...
Nilou: You can cut each small dried fish into two to three pieces — the perfect size for low-sugar desserts.
Paimon: Ooh, looks like you're getting on just great, you two!
Icon Dialogue Talk White Was it the topic of cooking that kicked this off?
Icon Dialogue Talk White Well, I guess that's one way of solving the issue.
Nilou: Actually, we started out by talking about our common troubles.
Nilou: Tahchin's delicious, but its flavor is almost intoxicating... By the time you realize something's gone wrong, you've got several empty plates sitting in front of you.
Barbara: Recently, the portions they serve at Good Hunter have gotten much bigger, and every meal is enough to leave the Knights fully satisfied. But for a member of the Church like myself...
Nilou: Mmhmm.
Barbara: Ahem...
Paimon: W—Wait. What is this about?
Icon Dialogue Talk White Something I occasionally worry about, too.
Icon Dialogue Talk White Nothing that would ever give you trouble, Paimon.
Mualani: Haha! Perfect timing!
Mualani: And here I was hoping to butt in and say, "We'll work on losing weight starting tomorrow." Y'know, to stop the consensus from forming...
Mualani: I'd already reduced the sugar and cream content in the cakes, and drawn up a healthy morning exercise plan for the next few days...
Mualani: I didn't expect that you'd already found your own ways around the problem. Hah, genius!
Mualani: In that case, let's use Nilou's trick and Barbara's dried fish to have ourselves a zero-regrets-included dinner!
Paimon: D—Did you prepare all this for us?
Kachina: I've also got a plate of Volcano Cake for you and Paimon! I looked up the latest recipes and adjusted the ingredients...
Kachina: ...I hope it's to your tastes!
Paimon: Cake hand-baked by Kachina...
Paimon: P—Paimon will take her time savoring this for sure!
Paimon: Actually, wait a minute! Do you have some sorta gadget we can use to keep a small piece as a souvenir?
Kachina: Oh, you can finish it all! If you'd like another one, I can make it for you, easy!
Icon Dialogue Talk White If you say so, I'm tucking in.
Icon Dialogue Talk White In that case, I'll savor this.
Kachina: Alright! I've also prepared some drinks. Remember to cut it into smaller pieces so you don't choke...
Barbara: Hmm. I forget. How many dinners have we had together at this point?
Nilou: I wonder. Our time together has passed slowly, yet so quickly. A fulfilling time that has passed like a dream...
Mualani: Hey now! I've said it before and I'll say it again—
Mualani: "Happiness isn't short-lived if we make happy gatherings a regular thing!"
Mualani: This is the happiest time of our lives, and there'll be more such moments to come!
You enjoy a feast with your friends. The relaxing gathering seems to have left you in a great mood, and with the abundance of exercise you've been doing while leading dances, the flavor of every dish is made impeccable...
This goes double for Kachina's cake. The magic they call "hard work" has imparted not only sweetness, but also an immense sense of ease upon those who eat it.
Everyone makes a promise:
"When Kachina's cake shop opens, we'll bring the best gifts to the opening ceremony!"
(Talk to Barbara or Nilou)
Nilou: Once Mualani and Kachina finish teaching the warriors of their tribes... Hmm. How many months will that take? Anyway, wanna visit the Grand Bazaar to have some fun?
Barbara: Of course! I'd love to try dancing with you on the stage you're the most familiar with.
(Talk to Kachina or Mualani)
Mualani: Not bad, Kachina! Even if we weren't friends, I'd have given your dessert 8.5 outta 10!
Mualani: I'll leave half a point for myself, which I'll give you once you've gotten even better at this... and the last point will be (‍Traveler‍)'s to hand out.
Kachina: I... I'd have only given myself a 6.5, really.
Kachina: And now that I've thought about how I baked the cake... I think I know what's missing. I'll do better next time!
