Dance-Off Stage is a point of interest located in Tete Isle, Easybreeze Holiday Resort, Natlan.
It is an elaborate performance stage equipped with dynamic music mixing, lighting control, and stage effects. It resembles a giant eye, with a DJ booth as its "pupil."
How to Use
The player can enter DJ mode by interacting with the soundboard in front of the DJ booth.
There are five controls:
- Record spin — tap or spin the record to create a scrubbing effect
- Camera switch — tap to toggle the DJ's POV (2 options)
- Fire paintball — tap to fire a single paintball (alternates between 6 colors)
- Flame effects — tap to activate pyrotechnics display (5 locations)
- Lighting control — tap to toggle lighting effects (4 options)
After completing The Surprise That Awaits Us All! in Story Quest Sunspray Summer Resort: Part III, the player can also interact with the stage to "Revisit the Opening Ceremony." In this mode, the camera switch function is unavailable and the lighting control button instead activates various timed stage effects.

Lore
The Dance-Off Stage was a custom commission from Xilonen.[1] It was created with a combination of phlogiston engineering and materials imported from Nod-Krai.[2][3] The spherical DJ booth at its center can be detached and piloted like a small aircraft, as seen during the resort's official opening ceremony.[4]
The stage is also capable of entering "Lightburst Shock Mode," in which its Lightburst Soundsystem will emit shockwaves in time with the music. The strength of these shockwaves is adjustable.[5]
Trivia
- After completing The Surprise That Awaits Us All!, the spinning record decoration behind the DJ booth changes from its generic appearance to a mural of the Traveler and their friends.
