Description

Edo Star is a planet nestled within a vast ion storm region.^[1] Its houses of music contain beautiful ancient ballads.^[2]

History

Edo Star was previously attacked by the Antimatter Legion,^[3] however according to the IPC they managed to repel them, afterwards putting their planet on temporary lockdown.^[4]

Trivia

• Edo Star is one of nine locations to appear randomly from the Destruction of the Destroyer assignment.
• During The Sun Also Rises, while in the ideal dream made by Sunday, the Astral Express crew voted on which location to travel to next. Among these choices was Edo Star, which was requested by the Interastral Peace Corporation due to the recent cessation in distress signals.^[1]

Etymology

• Edo is the old name of current Japan's capital, Tokyo. The era of Tokugawa rule in Japan from 1603 to 1868 is known as the Edo period. In 1868, as the result from the Meiji Restoration, Edo was renamed to Tokyo, and Edo Castle became the Tokyo Imperial Palace.
