Adlivun

Adlivun, also known as the diamond world,^[1] was a planet in the Adlivun System where Nanook, the Aeon of Destruction, was born as the world fell.^[2] The system was largely destroyed by Nanook when THEY ascended into Aeonhood, leaving the planet as a charred obsidian orb.^[3]

History

Adlivun was marred by the Emperor's War and the Swarm Disaster. When Akivili arrived there, the inhabitants were still fighting against the remaining descendants of Tayzzyronth.^[3] The planet was burned to an obsidian hellscape the moment Nanook ascended.^[1]

After the defeat of Irontomb and the end of the Amphoreus Experiment, Lygus asked Screwllum to take his body to Adlivun. According to Lygus, there lies a formula there that will be useful to him when the day comes when he must destroy the Erudition. Although Screwllum refused, Lygus believed he would eventually grant his request out of the sake of his own conscience.^[4]

Trivia

Etymology

• Adlivun refers to spirits of the departed and the underworld ruled by Sedna, the goddess of sea and marine animals in Inuit mythology. The souls are purified in the underworld, in preparation for the travel to the Land of the Moon.
