Icon Dialogue Story Talk to (‍BelleBelle / WiseWise‍)

(‍BelleBelle / WiseWise‍), Cissia, and Billy are already waiting to have breakfast with you. Join them and talk about what's happened lately.
(Idle)
Cissia: So... sleepy...
(SiblingSibling): Why do you keep yawning?
Billy: Is the manager here yet?
(Talk to (‍BelleBelle / WiseWise‍))
(SiblingSibling): (‍Ah, good morning, Wise! How'd you sleep?Ah, good morning, Wise! How'd you sleep? / Good morning, Belle. How'd you sleep last night?Good morning, Belle. How'd you sleep last night?‍)
(SiblingSibling): Since you're already up, come grab some breakfast with us.

The Usual Breakfast

Story The Usual Breakfast

Video Summary: A first-generation Void Hunter, taken down solo by some hooded punk? Never heard of such a thing.
Story Description: Same as always, breakfast is shared over small talk with Cissia, Billy, and (‍BelleBelle / WiseWise‍). After the others have headed out to run errands, (‍WiseWise / BelleBelle‍) waits alone for "that guy" to show up as promised...

Billy: Having breakfast together with you guys every morning like this... I dunno, it just feels like... it makes even my daily maintenance feel more like a special ritual, y'know?
(SiblingSibling): Yeah. (‍Ever since we moved into Amber Hall, Wise and I have gotten into a much healthier routine... Hey, Wise! How come you got two fried eggs? Cissia: Hmm... I... I want another one too! With ketchup... Ehehehe...
Billy: Wait, Cissia! That's not ketchup! That's my maintenance oil!
Icon Dialogue Talk Did you not get enough sleep, Cissia?
(ProtagonistProtagonist): What's wrong, Cissia? Those dark circles are (‍pretty intense... Did you have a rough night?pretty intense... Did you have a rough night? / no joke... Rough night?no joke... Rough night?‍)
Cissia: Ugh... Yeah. It's all because of that thing Norma sent us... that alarm gadget thingy!
Cissia: I was all ready for it. No matter what time it went off in the middle of the night, I was going to shake all of you awake right away, then we'd go catch the culprit red-handed... But it's been days, and that thing has not made a single peep!
Cissia: But I still couldn't let myself sleep too soundly... It was terrible last night! I counted tens of thousands of eggs and still didn't get a wink of sleep!
Billy: Yeah... The mastermind stirred up so much trouble before. Why would they suddenly disappear these past few days?
Billy: Wait... Don't tell me our secret operation's already been compromised?!
Icon Dialogue Talk Maybe it's something else...
(ProtagonistProtagonist): I don't think so. The truth behind the Bangboo Corruption incidents was never made public. As far as I know, the only people who really know what happened are Lady Dracaene and us.
(ProtagonistProtagonist): But from the culprit's perspective, now would be the perfect time to make a move. We still haven't figured everything out, and we're all being thrown off by those false leads...
(ProtagonistProtagonist): They seem to have vanished into thin air... Or maybe they're just waiting for the right moment...?
(SiblingSibling): (‍Well, if we're talking about recent events in Roscaelifer, then yeah, all those outsiders showing up on the island fits the bill, right?Well, if we're talking about recent events in Roscaelifer, then yeah, all those outsiders showing up on the island fits the bill, right? / Hm... If we're talking about recent major events in Roscaelifer, then the arrival of all those outsiders would be the obvious one.‍)
Billy: Yeah... That really cool Sunbringer lady did mention something like that... Wait, this culprit... They're not planning to use the crowd and all the confusion to launch an ambush, are they?!
Cissia: Uh... probably not, right? I heard today's welcome tea party is being hosted by the ESD. Velina and Norma will both be there, plus all three Sunbringers... How dumb would this guy have to be to try anything right under their noses?
(SiblingSibling): (‍Hmm... fair. But something still feels off... Ugh, I guess we'll just have to see how things play out.Hmm... fair. But something still feels off... (SiblingSibling): (‍Oh right, Wise,Oh right, Wise, / Oh, Belle,Oh, Belle,‍) what about Toby, the Bangboo we saved with Velina's security key? Has his memory data been restored yet?
Billy: Oh right! Norma said before that he might have a key clue about the culprit.
Icon Dialogue Talk I haven't heard anything either...
(ProtagonistProtagonist): I haven't heard anything, either. All I know is that ever since the vaccine plug-in was completed, Norma's been completely swamped.
(ProtagonistProtagonist): She hasn't replied to any of my messages these past few days.
Cissia: Oh man, she's already that busy, and Velina still called her to the tea party to help with the guests? Yeesh, poor Norma!
Billy: Uh... why do I get the feeling any guest who ends up dealing with a certain super-cranky Chief Technician is gonna have it even worse...
(SiblingSibling): (‍Well, breakfast is just about done. Billy, Cissia, let's go grab those supplies we talked about yesterday!Well, breakfast is just about done. Billy: Sounds good, ready anytime! I'll stock up on motor oil while the sale's on!
Cissia: Pudding! And my pudding! Half-price pudding! I'm buying a whole case and stashing it in the fridge!
Cissia: (‍Wise,Wise, / Belle,Belle,‍) you're really not coming with us?
Icon Dialogue Talk There's some data I need to process with the HDD.
(ProtagonistProtagonist): (‍Uh... something just came up. There's been a bit of an issue with the HDD, and I'll need some time to deal with it. You guys go on ahead.Uh... something just came up. (SiblingSibling): Yeah. (‍WiseWise / BelleBelle‍) already gave me (‍hishis / herher‍) shopping list, so let's go ahead without (‍himhim / herher‍) this time.
(SiblingSibling): Well then, I'll leave things on that end to you, (‍Wise.Wise. / Belle.Belle.‍)
Cissia: Hm? Why do I get the feeling... you two are hiding something from us? Hmm...
(SiblingSibling): (‍You're totally overthinking it! More importantly, if we don't hurry, your pudding might sell out! You're totally overthinking it! Cissia: Huh? Oh right, I almost forgot! Let's go, let's go! Any later and we really won't make it!
The three of them leave in a noisy bustle...
Icon Dialogue Talk (Think about what to do next)
(ProtagonistProtagonist): ((‍HmHm / HaHa‍)... Finally, I have Amber Hall all to myself.)
(ProtagonistProtagonist): (It's almost time. That girl... She does have quite the knack for making things difficult...)
(ProtagonistProtagonist): (But it's broad daylight... How's she planning to get here? Don't tell me she's going to climb through the window in the middle of the day... Hmm... Maybe I should wait upstairs.)
Just then, Amber Hall's doorbell rings...
Icon Dialogue Talk Huh? Someone's here?
(ProtagonistProtagonist): (Huh? Someone's here? Who could it be? And of all the times...)
(ProtagonistProtagonist): (‍(All right. I'll see who it is first, then figure out how to handle this.)(All right. I'll see who it is first, then figure out how to handle this.) / (Ugh... Fine. Video Summary: A first-generation Void Hunter, taken down solo by some hooded punk? Never heard of such a thing.
Story Description: Hidden inside the Mr. Roar mascot suit is none other than the very person you've been waiting for.

Mr. Roar?: Hello, your food delivery is here, rawrr~
Icon Dialogue Talk Wait, that voice...
(ProtagonistProtagonist): Food delivery? We weren't expecting any— Wait. That voice... It's you?!
Mr. Roar?: Oh my, you recognized my voice right away? And I could've sworn I sounded pretty convincing.
(ProtagonistProtagonist): ...
Mr. Roar?: Come on, don't just stand there in silence. Give me a hand.
Icon Dialogue Talk A hand?
(ProtagonistProtagonist): (‍A hand...? What do you need help with?A hand...? What do you need help with? / Huh? With what exactly?Huh? With what exactly?‍)
Mr. Roar?: So erm... the head is a little smaller on the inside than it looks, which means... um... alright, I... accidentally got stuck in it. Could you help me?
(ProtagonistProtagonist): ...

Unexpected Guest

The following is recorded in the Video Archive
Story Unexpected Guest

Video Summary: A first-generation Void Hunter, taken down solo by some hooded punk? Never heard of such a thing.
Story Description: One unexpected visitor often brings another in their wake... After a brief chat with Remielle, picking up where she left off, Velina arrives unannounced, requesting that you join her for a tea party.

Remielle: Phew... What a relief... I had no idea it would be so stuffy inside that costume. I nearly suffocated.
(ProtagonistProtagonist): Right, right, the legendary first-generation Void Hunter almost got soloed by a mascot costume... Wait a second. Where'd you (‍even get it?even get it? / get that costume?get that costume?‍) Where's the real Mr. Roar?
Remielle: Him? Hehe... Probably... still wandering somewhere in a Hollow as we speak.
Icon Dialogue Talk Do you have any idea how dangerous that is?!
(ProtagonistProtagonist): Do you have any idea how dangerous that is?! Where did you leave him? Come with me — (‍We have to go save him, now.We have to go save him, now. / We gotta go and save him, right now!We gotta go and save him, right now!‍)
Remielle: Why, I left him... in his own shop, of course. Come now, I'm only teasing. This isn't Mr. Roar's outfit! It's just the same design, that's all. See?
Icon Dialogue Talk You gotta be kidding me...
(ProtagonistProtagonist): You must be joking... right?
Remielle: Of course I was joking! This isn't Mr. Roar's outfit! It's just the same design, that's all. See?
Remielle: Did you truly think I'd toss someone into a Hollow? You really have that little faith in me?
Icon Dialogue Talk That's your own fault.
(ProtagonistProtagonist): (‍Personally... I'd say a certain someone brought this on herself. A certain someone who never says anything straight, only speaks in half-truths and riddles... then disappears halfway through...Personally... I'd say a certain someone brought this on herself. One week ago, on that late night when Remielle came knocking—
Remielle: Think about your understanding... everything you know.
Remielle: Have you ever heard of the word... "Enchainer"?
(ProtagonistProtagonist): Enchainer...? (‍Hmm. Doesn't ring a bell. What is it?Hmm. Doesn't ring a bell. What is it? / Hmm... Can't say I've heard of that before. What's that?Hmm... Can't say I've heard of that before. What's that?‍)
Remielle: *sigh*... just as I thought. Helios never tells you anything that truly matters. But your teacher... Hmm, never mind.
Remielle: Let me think... where should I begin...?
Remielle: To put it simply... think of them as "emissaries of the Creator," or rather... the true rulers of the Great Hollows.
Icon Dialogue Talk Emissaries of the Creator...?
(ProtagonistProtagonist): Emissaries of the Creator...?
Icon Dialogue Talk Rulers... of the Great Hollows?
(ProtagonistProtagonist): Rulers of the Great Hollows...?
Remielle: No need to look so surprised. Haven't you already encountered something similar?
Icon Dialogue Talk Lemnian Hollow...
Icon Dialogue Talk The Creator's Vessel...
(ProtagonistProtagonist): You mean... from that time in Lemnian Hollow? The Creator's Vessel?
Remielle: Bingo. You got it.
Remielle: Still, while it bore some resemblance to an "Enchainer"... it still had quite a long way to go before it could truly become one.
Remielle: Of course, had you not stopped it back then and instead let it fully absorb the Qingming Sword's power... it likely would have fully evolved into the Enchainer of Lemnian Hollow.
Remielle: It would have gained full dominion over the laws within Lemnian Hollow — whether that's Miasma or anything else... just thinking about it, that would have been a tough battle.
Icon Dialogue Talk Wait, I think I just got sidetracked!
(ProtagonistProtagonist): Enchainers... Qingming Sword... (‍Hold on, how did we get this far off topic? Weren't we discussing Girtablullu?Hold on, how did we get this far off topic? Remielle: We are, aren't we? This is a "topic related to Girtablullu."
Remielle: The Girtablullu as it stands now is less of an Enchainer and more akin to— Ngh!
Remielle: Of all times... Never mind. Our little Q&A session ends here for tonight.
Remielle: One week from now, in the morning, I'll come find you again.
Remielle: Keep it secret, won't you? Imagine if anyone found out that "(‍Mr.Mr. / MissMiss‍) Transfer Student" is actually a partner-in-crime to "Miss Fugitive"... Just thinking about the trouble that would cause gives me a headache~
(ProtagonistProtagonist): Huh?! Wait, Remielle! Don't go! At least finish what you were saying!
Back to the present—
Remielle: I never took you for the type to keep score. It's already been a whole week.
Icon Dialogue Talk I hold grudges.
(ProtagonistProtagonist): (‍I'll admit, I can hold a grudge. You made me wait a whole week, leaving me with a half-finished riddle. Care to finally explain, Miss Fugitive?I'll admit, I can hold a grudge. You made me wait a whole week, leaving me with a half-finished riddle. Remielle: Hehe, don't be such a sourpuss, little grudge holder. Keep digging into every little thing, and people might start thinking you're (‍terribly controlling, terribly controlling, / not very cute, not very cute,‍) you know?
Remielle: Let's return to the topic we left unfinished that night: what exactly are Girtablullu and Bashmu?
Remielle: The answer is quite simple: they're both Enchainer larvae — beings with the potential to become Enchainers, but have yet to do so.
Icon Dialogue Talk Enchainer... larvae?
(ProtagonistProtagonist): Enchainer... larvae?
Remielle: Correct. Similar things appeared in my time as well, but no one ever learned where they truly came from.
Remielle: And now, that thing you encountered in Lemnian Hollow... perhaps someone has finally found a way to create or control an Enchainer larva. Who can say?
Remielle: As for the key to whether the larva can become an Enchainer... I imagine you have already guessed the answer.
Icon Dialogue Talk A Void Hunter weapon...
(ProtagonistProtagonist): Could it be... a Void Hunter weapon?
Remielle: Uh-huh~ You're half right.
(ProtagonistProtagonist): Half right? What do you mean? (‍What else could it beWhat else could it be / There's something elseThere's something else‍) besides a Void Hunter weapon?
Remielle: Now that's a whole new question, (‍Mr.Mr. / MissMiss‍) Rule-Breaker — it's my turn to ask one.
Remielle: That ability you tapped into when you faced Girtablullu... the one that let you interfere with the Singularity Leakage. How has that been progressing? Can you use it reliably now?
Icon Dialogue Talk Sorry, nope.
(ProtagonistProtagonist): Sorry... I haven't been able to do anything like that since then. Honestly, (‍I'm not entirely sure how I managed itI'm not entirely sure how I managed it / I don't even know how I pulled it offI don't even know how I pulled it off‍) in the first place.
(ProtagonistProtagonist): (I (‍had intendedhad intended / actually wantedactually wanted‍) to ask Lady Dracaene about (‍it,it, / that,that,‍) but she hasn't shown up for the last few treatment sessions. I never got another chance...)
Remielle: Hmm... that's tricky. And here I was thinking...
(ProtagonistProtagonist): Thinking what, exactly?
Remielle: That you might help me find Girtablullu. I'm looking for it too, you see. Will you help me out?
(ProtagonistProtagonist): (She's looking for Girtablullu too...? Why? No, wait... before that, why did she come to Roscaelifer in the first place...?)
Remielle: If you have a question, just ask. It's written all over your face.
(ProtagonistProtagonist): Okay. (ProtagonistProtagonist): And you... the "wanted fugitive who attempted to assassinate Lady Sunbringer"... are also one of their targets.
Remielle: Is this you trying to draw a line between us?
(ProtagonistProtagonist): No! I was just wondering if those two things...
Belle, Wise, are you in?
Icon Dialogue Talk Velina?!
(ProtagonistProtagonist): Huh? Was that Velina? What's she doing here?
(ProtagonistProtagonist): (‍Oh no. Remielle, quickly...Oh no. Remielle, quickly... / Uh-oh! Remielle, hurry up and...Uh-oh! Remielle, hurry up and...‍)

Mr. Roar?: As for the flavor, (‍Sir,Sir, / Miss,Miss,‍) give it a little more thought. I'll stop by again tomorrow morning to confirm your choice, rawrr~
Remielle leaves, still wearing the mascot costume...
Velina: Mr. Roar seems... somewhat different from usual today.
(ProtagonistProtagonist): Uh... maybe a little...? (‍HahahaHahaha / AhahaAhaha‍)...
(ProtagonistProtagonist): (‍By the way, whatBy the way, what / Oh, right! WhatOh, right! What‍) brings you here today?
Velina: Hmm... yes, I do have a rather audacious request. (‍Wise,Wise, / Belle,Belle,‍) I would like you to accompany me to today's tea party.

Velina: Yes, you must have heard already. Guests from New Eridu will be arriving today. I have reserved Cuppa Moment and prepared a welcome tea party for everyone.
Velina: Originally, Norma was supposed to attend as the technical expert, but... Toby's memory restoration has reached a critical stage, and she simply can't step away right now.
Icon Dialogue Talk Alright, I'm Norma.

Velina: Not... quite like that.
Velina: (‍Wise,Wise, / Belle,Belle,‍) I would like you and (‍BelleBelle / WiseWise‍) to attend with me as the "collaborators" recommended by Mayor Mayflower.
Velina: On top of that, since you arrived on our island a little earlier, I believe sharing your experience here with the guests at the tea party would help everyone settle in a bit faster.
Icon Dialogue Talk I see.
(ProtagonistProtagonist): Got it. (‍BelleBelle / WiseWise‍) went shopping with Billy and Cissia earlier, but I can go with you.
Velina: Thank you for understanding, (‍Wise.Wise. / Belle.Belle.‍) Let's go.

Video Summary: Leaders from different divisions and different roles always bring their own distinct styles to the table.

(A cinematic plays)
Alma: Lady Lindverne
Alma: Thank you for inviting us...
Lindverne Sunbringer: Eldreda was the one who invited you...
Lindverne Sunbringer: But
Lindverne Sunbringer: You're welcome anyway
(Two Bangboo wearing the Eh-Nah Gang's badge sneak an explosive into one of the cakes)
Daniel: The view here is really nice
Daniel: Not just that
Daniel: The cakes here are also amazing...
(Sigrid spots the two Bangboo causing mischief)
(The Bangboo shuffle the cakes and run off)
(Sigrid and Claret improvise and begin cutting the cakes for the others)
(Sigrid finally spots the cake with the bomb, causing it to pop with confetti and a Bangboo miniature)
(ProtagonistProtagonist): Whoa, sure is lively
(Cinematic ends)

The Third "Sunbringer"

The following is recorded in the Video Archive
Story The Third "Sunbringer"

Video Summary: Leaders from different divisions and different roles always bring their own distinct styles to the table.
Story Description: After learning that the incident at the tea party was the work of the En-Nah Gang, you have a brief conversation with Lindverne, the third "Sunbringer" you haven't met before. She comes across as remarkably approachable...

Alma: Wow, that was amazing! It was like magic. I could barely keep up!
Daniel: To go to such lengths as to curate this exquisite opening... You truly have gone above and beyond.
Owen: With the immense weight Roscaelifer carries, I had to admit I'd imagined it would be a more solemn place.
Alma: Relax, Mr. Owen! Even those of us in HSO don't work with stern faces every day. For a special occasion like this, we should all loosen up a little.
Daniel: Yes. To be honest, I also expected Roscaelifer to feel more dignified at first. But this is pretty nice too, isn't it? Just the right air to talk about cooperation.
Soon enough, the guests fell right back into the rhythm of the tea party—
Velina: Thank goodness we were spared any major complications...
Icon Dialogue Talk What just happened...
(ProtagonistProtagonist): What happened just now, that wasn't part of your plan, (‍was it?was it? / right?right?‍)
Velina: Hardly. If I'm not mistaken, this little "mishap" is the handiwork of those little ones from the En-Nah Gang.
Icon Dialogue Talk En-Nah Gang?
(ProtagonistProtagonist): En-Nah Gang? Judging by the name... is it related to Bangboo?
Velina: Indeed. In Roscaelifer, many small groups form spontaneously among Bangboo — almost like clubs. The En-Nah Gang is one of them.
Velina: As for the Bangboo there... they always say they're acting in the interest of Roscaelifer and all Bangboo. But to everyone else, what they do looks more like... pranks.
Velina: For example... a few days before your arrival, the huge pile of bananas in front of Aurelia Academy was also their doing. It was their way of... voicing their grievances against the newest Logic Cores.
Velina: I heard they originally planned to lay out banana peels, but Bangboo do not eat bananas, and they did not want to waste food, so... they simply stacked the bananas instead.
Velina: As it turned out... the students thought they were a special courtesy arranged by the ESD, and they were quite delighted for a while.
Icon Dialogue Talk So that's a good deed done for all the wrong reasons...
(ProtagonistProtagonist): Ha, haha... so that's what you call (‍"doing the right thing for the wrong reasons.""doing the right thing for the wrong reasons." / doing the right thing for the wrong reasons, huh?doing the right thing for the wrong reasons, huh?‍)
???: *sigh* At the same time, they don't have bad intentions. What harm could those Bangboo possibly mean? They're only a little uneasy about recent changes on the island.
???: It's fine, it's fine~ Indulging their wild ideas once in a while can count as a little break from work, I'd say.
Velina: *sigh* Not everyone can handle their antics as effortlessly as you do, Lady Lindverne...
Icon Dialogue Talk Lady Lindverne...?
(ProtagonistProtagonist): Lady Lindverne...? That sounds familiar... Wait, this is...?
Velina: Hehe, allow me to make a formal introduction. (‍Wise,Wise, / Belle,Belle,‍) this is the Director of the Airspace Patrol Department, Lady Lindverne Sunbringer.
Lindverne: Oh my, no need for the "Lady" business. How many times have I said it? We're far past the point of formalities, aren't we?
Lindverne: Then again, no matter how many times I say it... in all of Roscaelifer, aside from Eldreda and little Dracaene, Claret's about the only one who doesn't treat me like their boss.
Velina: Hehe, after all, not just anyone can be like Miss Claret and end up becoming Lady Lindverne's creditor.
Lindverne: Alright, alright, allow me to introduce myself. Hello, (‍Wise.Wise. / Belle.Belle.‍) I am Lindverne, Director of Airspace Patrol. I have already heard a bit about you from Dracie and Sigrid.
Lindverne: I didn't expect you to uncover an important clue about the Bangboo Corruption incidents right after arriving. That's quite impressive!
Icon Dialogue Talk You're too kind...
(ProtagonistProtagonist): Ahaha... You're too kind, Lady Lindverne. I really didn't do (‍tootoo / all thatall that‍) much...
Lindverne: Well, I'll be counting on you later, alright? Oh, also, no more "Lady" this and "Lady" that. Just call me Lindverne!
(ProtagonistProtagonist): Okay, I'll try to get used to it... (‍Uh,Uh, / Huh,Huh,‍) wait, "later"... (‍what exactlywhat exactly / whatwhat‍) are we doing later?
Lindverne: What else? The troublesome parts of the tea party, of course. I'm terrible at occasions like this. All that stiff etiquette, the small talk, having to smile the whole time...
Lindverne: Eldreda or Dracie should have attended, but... *sigh* Eldreda has been busy with who-knows-what lately, and Dracie is tied up with the CCD's Singularity Leakage... So I had no choice but to make an appearance.
Lindverne: Dealing with all that formality... just thinking about it is exhausting. So, I spoke with Velina...
Velina: Well, actually... Lady Lindverne was the one who insisted on asking you to come.
Lindverne: Haha, so you haven't told (‍himhim / herher‍) yet, Velina? Oh well, no matter. You look like the type who's good at socializing! I'll leave it to you, alright?
Icon Dialogue Talk (What a willful Lady Sunbringer...)
(ProtagonistProtagonist): Uh... at this point, I don't (‍think I really have room to refuse...think I really have room to refuse... / really have much room to refuse, do I...really have much room to refuse, do I...‍)
(ProtagonistProtagonist): (The third "Sunbringer," Lindverne of Airspace Patrol... (‍I never expected her to be like this...)I never expected her to be like this...) / I didn't expect her to be like this at all...)I didn't expect her to be like this at all...)‍)
(ProtagonistProtagonist): (And what she mentioned earlier — the Singularity Leakage at the CCD...)
(ProtagonistProtagonist): Speaking of which, Lady Lind... Lindverne, has the Singularity Leakage at the CCD still not been cleared up?
Lindverne: Yeah... It seemed to have returned to normal at the time, but the surrounding area hasn't fully left its "activated state." In other words, it's only dormant for now, and could flare up again nearby at any moment.
Lindverne: I've already sent people to help handle it, but... Dracie will probably be busy for a while yet. *sigh* Once she's done, I'll ask her what happened — and maybe... pinch those little cheeks of hers too, hehe~
Lindverne: Oh right, speaking of talking to people... don't forget to say hello to Claret later.
Icon Dialogue Talk Claret...?
(ProtagonistProtagonist): Claret...?
Lindverne: That girl over there. See her? The blonde one with the expression that says, "You owe me 200 million Dennies, so pay up before you even talk."
Lindverne: She's the Director of Flint Workshop and the current heir to the Flint family.
Lindverne: All the Porcelloy used during your treatment was produced at the workshop in Vyrium. I only returned from there with her yesterday. In a sense... she's your benefactor.
Velina: So the moment has finally come... Good luck, (‍Wise.Wise. / Belle.Belle.‍) I believe you can survive this trial.
Icon Dialogue Talk My Proxy-sense is tingling...
(ProtagonistProtagonist): Wait, why do I feel like (‍this isthis is / it'sit's‍) getting more dangerous by the second...? Nothing (‍terrifying is goingterrifying is going / terrifying's aboutterrifying's about‍) to happen, right?
Lindverne: Haha, no, no. Claret isn't that frightening. She's just a little... earnest, that's all.
Lindverne: If you're really worried... I'll teach you a little trick: compliment her. Anything will do! Flattery does wonders!
Icon Dialogue Story Tracked Chat with the people here

Lindverne wants us to mingle with the guests, and specifically suggested we go say hi to Claret, the Administrative Director of Flint Workshop.
(Idle)
Owen: Turns out the Rosetta Data comes from a floating island.
Daniel: I must say, I'm pretty excited to be part of this collaboration.
Alma: I didn't think I'd actually get to see the legendary Sunbringer in the flesh.
Velina: You'll have the opportunity to see the other two Lady Sunbringers soon, as well.
(Talk to Owen, optional)
Owen: Wonder if I'll ever get a chance to see how Rosetta Data is generated firsthand.
Daniel: You're interested in that too, Mr. Owen? I thought it was just us investigators who were all fired up about it.
Daniel: Though... anything related to Rosetta Data would obviously be classified at the highest level. Wonder if this collaboration will touch on it.
Owen: I came all this way. I just wanna make sure I'm getting a good look at everything.
Daniel: Well, just being here makes it all worth it, if you ask me.
(Talk to Alma, optional)
Alma: Booastrum alone already left me in awe... but I never imagined I'd have the chance to meet the legendary Sunbringer! Sure, she's a little different from the records... but this still feels like a dream!
Velina: Heheh, thank you for the kind words, Miss Alma. Lady Eldreda and Lady Dracaene have been tied up with urgent matters lately and, unfortunately, couldn't be here to greet you all in person. You have my apologies for that. You'll be able to meet with them later.
Alma: You're too kind! Just getting to meet Lady Lindverne in person... that's something I'll remember for the rest of my life. We even shook hands! If it weren't for the NDA, I'd love to go back and tell Miss Miyabi all about it...
Velina: As a chief of Hollow Special Operations, it seems you're quite close with Miss Hoshimi Miyabi. Our cooperation with New Eridu may very well expand further down the line, so it's possible we'll end up working with other Void Hunters... When that time comes, I hope it won't be too much trouble if you could help us get in touch.
Alma: Of course! Here's hoping our partnership keeps going strong... I'm sure both Roscaelifer and New Eridu will come out ahead because of it!
(Talk to Lindverne, optional)
Lindverne: A broccoli ambush hiding among these snacks? How devious!
Lindverne: If only a loyal retainer were here to shoulder this burden for me...
Sigrid: B—Broccoli, you say? ...Yet for Lady Lindverne's sake, I must face this terrifying food... Ah, (‍Mr. Wise!Mr. Wise! / Miss Belle!Miss Belle!‍)
Icon Dialogue Talk Why are you looking at me like that?
Icon Dialogue Talk Sigrid, your expression...
Lindverne: Sigrid's eyes are saying, "Could this noble soul be my savior?" Am I right?
Sigrid: —! H—How did you see right through me again...?
Lindverne: As I said before, a person's gaze always betrays what's on their mind. Besides, Sigrid is simply terrible at hiding what she's thinking.
Icon Dialogue Talk Perfect timing, I'm getting a little hungry...
Icon Dialogue Talk How about I eat it for you?
You pick up one of the little snacks the two of them were so desperate to avoid and pop it into your mouth...
It does not taste nearly as bad as she made it sound. In fact, you kind of want another one.
Sigrid: M—(‍Mr. Wise,Mr. Wise, / Miss Belle,Miss Belle,‍) you mean to take another one? Truly... I can't help but admire your courage.
Lindverne: To endure something like broccoli... The people of New Eridu are not to be underestimated.
Icon Dialogue Talk Uhhh...
Icon Dialogue Talk I actually think it tastes pretty good?
Under the astonished gazes of the two ladies, you finish the entire plate of snacks...
Even you start to wonder: was clearing them all out really such an impressive feat?
(Talk to Claret)

Story Description: Sure, the heiress from the Flint Workshop might look like trouble at first glance, but as long as you know how to handle her, she's actually pretty easy to get along with...

Claret: ...
(ProtagonistProtagonist): ...
Claret: *sigh* ...So, who are you? Another outsider?
Claret: You've been staring at me for quite a while. Got something to say? Or... is this some kind of New Eridu etiquette?
(ProtagonistProtagonist): (‍My apologies, Miss Claret. I was just considering how best to express my gratitude to you.My apologies, Miss Claret. Claret: Gratitude...? Are you sure you've got the right person? Did I help you with something?
Claret: Oh, wait, I get it. So you're the one Dracaene and the others were trying to save?
(ProtagonistProtagonist): Uh, yes, that's me. Thank you very much for your help during my treatment... Oh, I forgot to introduce myself! (‍My name is Wise.My name is Wise. / I'm Belle.I'm Belle.‍) Nice to meet you, Miss Claret!
Claret: Hmph, help? Funny, I don't remember doing anything like that.
Claret: All I remember is someone sweet-talking me into investing in some ridiculous long-term treatment project, then burning through at least three days' worth of my workshop's Porcelloy output in a single day.
Claret: As for how that turned out... hmph, that has nothing to do with you or that byproduct inside you. I'll go have a nice little chat with that innocent-faced little liar myself.
Icon Dialogue Talk (She really doesn't hold back...)
(ProtagonistProtagonist): ((‍Uh,Uh, / Wow,Wow,‍) she really doesn't pull any punches...)
(ProtagonistProtagonist): (Hmm... maybe I should try complimenting her (‍likelike / just likejust like‍) Lindverne suggested. (‍That might help ease the tension...)That might help ease the tension...) / Might lighten the air a little...)Might lighten the air a little...)‍)
Claret: Is there anything else?
Icon Dialogue Talk (Express gratitude and compliments)
(ProtagonistProtagonist): I'm truly sorry. I never imagined my treatment would require so much Porcelloy.
(ProtagonistProtagonist): I know this is an (‍exceptionally rareexceptionally rare / incredibly rare and valuableincredibly rare and valuable‍) material that only Flint Workshop can produce. (‍I'm deeply grateful for your generosity, and I won't forget it.I'm deeply grateful for your generosity, and I won't forget it. / I'll repay your kindness somehow, and I'll never forget what you've done for me.I'll repay your kindness somehow, and I'll never forget what you've done for me.‍)
Claret: Hmph, good. At least you understand... H—Hey, hey, wait! Don't just bow all of a sudden! You don't need to be that formal just to thank me! Everyone's watching!
Claret: Honestly, you... Ugh, fine. I'll let it slide since you're at least being reasonable about it...
Claret: Drop by my workshop sometime. I'll personally take a look at... that Etheric Other situation of yours.
Claret: I ought to know what my family's Porcelloy ended up being used for, shouldn't I?
(ProtagonistProtagonist): Please don't worry, Miss Claret. (‍I'll do everything I canI'll do everything I can / I'll try my bestI'll try my best‍) to make up for your losses and prove your "investment" was (‍worthwhile.worthwhile. / worth it.worth it.‍)
Claret: Hmph, alright, alright, save the pleasantries. Dracaene and Lindverne say the exact same thing every time they're trying to squeeze more Porcelloy out of me. I've heard it all before.
(ProtagonistProtagonist): Miss Claret... you're (‍reallyreally / soso‍) kind.
Claret: D—Don't suddenly say things like that! People are going to get the wrong idea!
Claret: A—Anyway... I won't hold the Porcelloy thing against you today... I mean, none of this was your fault to begin with!
Claret: In a few days, I'm going to track down Dracaene and settle this properly. Hmph, this time I won't let her bat her eyelashes and worm her way out of it!

Temporary Pickup Mission

Story Temporary Pickup Mission

Video Summary: Leaders from different divisions and different roles always bring their own distinct styles to the table.
Story Description: Another group of guests arriving on the island were delayed by the storm and have only just docked. Velina asks (‍WiseWise / BelleBelle‍) to help escort the guests from the port alongside Sigrid.

That's when you see Velina and Sigrid waving at you from a distance...
(ProtagonistProtagonist): Velina, Sigrid. What's wrong? What happened?
Velina: Hehe, no need to be so tense, (‍Wise.Wise. / Belle.Belle.‍) It's just a small matter—
Velina: Not all the guests scheduled to arrive on the island today have shown up yet. One of the airships ran into some trouble while passing through the storm belt — that held things up a bit. They're just now pulling into port.
Velina: The tea party's already halfway through, and neither Lady Lindverne nor I—since we're the ones hosting—can just slip away in the middle of it, so...
Sigrid: So, I will be the one in charge of welcoming this batch of guests. And... (‍Mr. Wise,Mr. Wise, / Miss Belle,Miss Belle,‍) I would like you to come along with me.
Icon Dialogue Talk Huh? Me?
(ProtagonistProtagonist): (‍Uh... I have to go, too?Uh... I have to go, too? / Huh? I gotta tag along too?Huh? I gotta tag along too?‍)
Sigrid: Well, here is my request. Most of the guests aboard this airship are scholars specializing in Hollow technology. Compared to the warriors of Airspace Patrol... I think they would find much more to talk about with (‍Mr. Wise.Mr. Wise. / Miss Belle.Miss Belle.‍)
(ProtagonistProtagonist): I see... Got it. Leave it to me.
Sigrid: Your understanding is appreciated. Now then, no time to waste—let us move out.
Icon Dialogue Story Tracked Head to the port

A new group of visitors is about to arrive at the port. Velina and Lindverne can't step away, so head over and help Sigrid welcome them.
(Ongoing)
Sigrid: Today's tea party was a close call, but we came through safely... I hope this marks a good beginning.
(ProtagonistProtagonist): You were (‍very composed the whole time, very composed the whole time, / pretty composed throughout too, pretty composed throughout too,‍) Sigrid.
Sigrid: You are too kind.
(Idle)
Velina: About receiving the foreign guests...
Lindverne: And of course, I'm the only one left at a time like this.
(Talk to Lindverne, optional)
Velina: It's not often that so many outsiders come to Roscaelifer in such a short amount of time.
Velina: I'll have to trouble you, Lady Lindverne, on the follow-up security and confidentiality.
Lindverne: Can't believe those two running the CCD and AAD are busy at a time like this... Did they coordinate this purpose?
Lindverne: And Vyrium — do I have to head over there myself too?
Velina: It unfortunately appears so. But, Norma and I shall accompany you.
Velina: At least, Lady Dracaene should be able to take time and join the banquet in Booastrum.
Lindverne: Hopefully, Eldreda shows up soon too. At the end of the day, she's the one who calls the shots on all this.
(Talk to Alma, optional)
Alma: From what I've seen, this collaboration has a very promising future... As the HSO's representative on the island, I must ensure these findings are properly reported.
Alma: I've heard Roscaelifer boasts talents on par with Miss Miyabi. I hope both sides can draw strength from this collaboration and grow together...
(Talk to Owen, optional)
Daniel: I heard that Rosetta Data is produced here at the CCD. For a Hollow Investigator, this city is practically a place of dreams. Roscaelifer really is remarkable, Mr. Owen.
Owen: Oh really? You're right. This city looks more than capable of providing TOPS with a steady stream of profit.
Daniel: You really do sound like someone from TOPS, Mr. Owen. As for me, I'm more interested in whether they have route-calculation methods I've never encountered before.
Owen: We merchants live by one simple rule: mutual benefit. Without profit, there's no basis for discussing collaboration.
Daniel: Hahaha, you really are refreshingly honest!
(Talk to Claret, optional)
Claret: What? You look like you've still got something to say.
Icon Dialogue Talk Yeah.
Icon Dialogue Talk I have a few more questions.
Claret: Fine, what do you want to know? Just so we're clear, I don't have all day.
Icon Dialogue Talk I'd like to know more about Vyrium.
Claret: Vyrium lies upon the sea around Roscaelifer and is responsible for supplying the island with Porcelloy.
Claret: Since its main focus is extraction and processing, security isn't nearly as tight as it is here. Some visitors from New Eridu will head there, though not exactly the ones at the center of power.
Claret: In a few days, Vyrium's hosting a little tea party just like today's. Ugh, what a pain. I should just dump the whole thing on Roxy!
Claret: Uh, anything else you wanna ask?
(Return to previous options)
Icon Dialogue Talk I'd like to know more about Flint Workshop.
Claret: The Flint Workshop's located in Vyrium. Bound by a promise made long ago, we've supplied the CCD with Porcelloy forged by our people ever since.
Claret: The craft of forging Porcelloy is incredibly complex. The entire Flint family pours its heart and soul into it. So the thing I hate most... is seeing it wasted on someone unworthy!
Icon Dialogue Talk I'll prove I'm worthy!
Icon Dialogue Talk I won't let you down!
Claret: You sure are determined... F—Fine! I'll trust you for now.
Claret: Uh, anything else you wanna ask?
(Return to previous options)
Icon Dialogue Talk I'd like to know more about you, Claret.
Claret: Curious about me, are you? Hmph. You've got some nerve for an outsider...
Icon Dialogue Talk I just think you're really impressive!
Icon Dialogue Talk It's just that I admire you!
Claret: Wh—What?! Cough, cough...
Claret: Who just asks something like that?! Look, stick around long enough and you'll figure me out.
Claret: ...Alright, any other questions?
(Return to previous options)
Icon Dialogue Talk That's all for now.
Claret: Th—Then... off you go, shoo.
Icon Dialogue Talk Oh, right.
Icon Dialogue Talk It was really nice to meet you!
Claret: Hmph, getting awfully familiar already, aren't you?
(Approach the target location)
Sigrid: The guests should be leaving the station soon. Let us wait here for a moment.

(ProtagonistProtagonist): The last time I was here was... just after we first arrived on the island. We left familiar Sixth Street with Norma, and set foot in Roscaelifer for the first time.
Sigrid: Sixth Street... I believe I have heard of it. Is that where you reside in New Eridu, (‍Mr. Wise?Mr. Wise? / Miss Belle?Miss Belle?‍)

Sigrid: Ah, the guests have arrived. (‍Mr. Wise,Mr. Wise, / Miss Belle,Miss Belle,‍) let us greet them.
You and Sigrid go to the edge of the platform together and the guests get off one by one.
Sigrid: Honored guests, you have come a long way.
Sigrid: I am Sigrid de L'Azur, Deputy Director of the Roscaelifer Airspace Patrol Department. On behalf of Roscaelifer, I extend my sincerest welcome to you all.
Sigrid: This is (‍Mr. Wise,Mr. Wise, / Miss Belle,Miss Belle,‍) a Hollow navigation specialist referred to us by New Eridu city administration. (‍HeHe / SheShe‍) has previously worked with the External Strategy Department and the Central Computing Department.
(ProtagonistProtagonist): You're too kind. I only arrived a few days before everyone else, but I hope I can offer a few useful pointers for your time in Roscaelifer.
Salvi: Greetings. I am Salvi, the interim leader of this expedition and a member of the White Star Institute. My research mainly focuses on Ethereal ecology. Please allow me to introduce the other guests traveling with me.
Salvi: This is Professor Oakley from Metis Academy, and this is Ms. Lawton, a peer of mine at the White Star Institute. Both are scholars who have spent years studying the fundamental properties of Hollows.
Salvi: And this is Miss Truvia, daughter of Mr. Mosseint, the head of High Ambitions Corp. Like you, she is also a specialist in Hollow navigation.

(ProtagonistProtagonist): Hmph, that's only twice! Nothing to brag about!
Truvia: Not satisfied? Fine then, let's run it back tomorrow!
(ProtagonistProtagonist): Bring it on! We've got all the time in the world—I could go head-to-head with you for a lifetime!
Truvia: Haha, looks like... someone's gonna be losing for the rest of their life, huh? Hahahaha...

Forget it. Let's just say goodbye here, Phaethon.
I know I said goodbye, but...
I still hope that... for the rest of this life, we never have to see each other again.
(ProtagonistProtagonist): (That really is Truvia! Why? Why is she here... in Roscaelifer?)
(ProtagonistProtagonist): (Did she already know (‍BelleBelle / WiseWise‍) and I are here? No, she probably doesn't... Right, they just introduced her as 'the (‍heir of the headheir of the head / daughterdaughter‍) of the High Ambitions Corp.'...)

(ProtagonistProtagonist): Ah, y—yes! Yes!
Sigrid: *Ahem*... (‍Mr. Wise,Mr. Wise, / Miss Belle,Miss Belle,‍) Mr. Salvi just mentioned that since both you and Miss Truvia here are experts in in-Hollow navigation, you should have quite a few topics in common.
(ProtagonistProtagonist): Ahaha... well... I'm not really an expert or anything. When it comes to specialized knowledge and technical skills, you'd really want to consult Miss Truvia for that.
Truvia: You give me too much credit. Our group primarily researches civilian equipment and technology. I wouldn't call myself a specialist.
Salvi: Haha, why are two talented young folks like you being so modest?
Salvi: Oh right... Doesn't (‍Mr. WiseMr. Wise / Miss BelleMiss Belle‍) also have (‍a younger sister?a younger sister? / an older brother?an older brother?‍)

Salvi: Haha, then it seems I recognized you correctly. To be honest, you and your sibling's names have come up several times in our Institute's recent research logs.
Salvi: Naturally, I became curious and looked into it a bit. That's when I discovered...
Salvi: (‍Mr. WiseMr. Wise / Miss BelleMiss Belle‍) and Miss Truvia, not only do your research interests overlap, but you also share another connection.
Salvi: You both studied at Helios Academy, and around the same time, no less.
Truvia: That's correct, Professor Salvi. (‍WiseWise / BelleBelle‍) and I were both students at Helios Academy once. It's just... after the fall of the old capital, we never saw each other again.
Salvi: Oh my, so it truly is as I suspected... Hehe, once we reach the tea party, I'm sure you two former classmates will have plenty to catch up on!
Salvi: Unlike an old man such as myself. At my age, there are hardly any classmates left to reunite with...
(ProtagonistProtagonist): Ahaha... I suppose you're right...

Truvia: I would love the chance to speak with (‍Mr. WiseMr. Wise / Miss BelleMiss Belle‍) a little longer, but... the journey was rather rough, and I'm afraid I'm feeling a bit airsick. If I were to attend the tea party in this state, it would hardly be proper...
Sigrid: Sorry, Miss Truvia, that was our oversight. We did not account for a situation like this.
Sigrid: Today's tea party is just a casual welcome we have put together for you all. You do not need to worry about a thing. We will be hosting a proper formal reception for everyone down the line.
Sigrid: If you are feeling a bit under the weather... how about having (‍Mr. WiseMr. Wise / Miss BelleMiss Belle‍) accompany you for a stroll in the nearby park so you can rest.
(ProtagonistProtagonist): Huh?
Sigrid: (Miss Truvia politely declined the tea party. She probably wants to catch up with her old classmate who she has not seen in ages!)
Sigrid: ((‍Mr. Wise,Mr. Wise, / Miss Belle,Miss Belle,‍) too... (‍HeHe / SheShe‍) seems to have a lot to say to Miss Truvia... Yes, that must be it! Then allow me... to lend you all a helping hand!)

(ProtagonistProtagonist): (‍Oh... of course.Oh... of course. / Ah... r—right, of course...Ah... r—right, of course...‍)

Truvia: Then you're a rather underqualified guide, aren't you?
(Approach the target location)
Truvia: Hm? That silver tree... it's not made of Porcelloy, is it?

Truvia: The nameplate really does say "Porcelloy"... I heard Roscaelifer was the Homeland of Porcelloy, but I never imagined they'd use it for public decoration.
Icon Dialogue Talk It's more than just decoration.
Icon Dialogue Talk This is one of the nodes of the Porcelloy veins.
Truvia: I see... (‍Wise,Wise, / Belle,Belle,‍) you keep saying you aren't that familiar with this place, but you always seem to have an answer for all my questions.
Truvia: I've heard the Porcelloy veins in Booastrum are also essential to the computation of Rosetta Data. [sic] How much do you know about the connection between the two?
Icon Dialogue Talk That... I have no idea...
Truvia: Really? Hehe. Or could it be that this touches on Roscaelifer secrets you can't exactly share with someone from TOPS like me?
Icon Dialogue Talk No, no. I really don't know!
Icon Dialogue Talk I can ask around for you next time...
Truvia: "Next time," huh...?
(ProtagonistProtagonist): I'm sorry, Truvia, I...
Truvia: It's alright, (‍Wise.Wise. / Belle.Belle.‍) Come on, let's see what's up ahead.
Icon Dialogue Story Tracked Keep walking with Truvia

Truvia noticed a wishing fountain up ahead. Go check it out with her.

Truvia: There's so many people over there...
(ProtagonistProtagonist): Yeah, there's a fountain over there. (‍The Bangboo use it for events from time to time. The Bangboo use it for events from time to time. / It's where Bangboo hold events sometimes. It's where Bangboo hold events sometimes.‍)
Truvia: It looks... rather interesting...
(Approach the target location)
Truvia: Ah... It's so cool here, and the breeze is nice.
Icon Dialogue Talk How are you feeling now?
Icon Dialogue Talk Have you recovered?
Truvia: Thank you. I'm feeling much better now. This flight... was way longer than expected, and I ran out of motion sickness medicine halfway through.
Icon Dialogue Talk That must have been a rough trip.
Icon Dialogue Talk Your health wasn't exactly great to begin with.
Truvia: It's much better than it was back then. Otherwise, Father never would have allowed me to come to Roscaelifer.
Icon Dialogue Talk Oh right, your father...
Icon Dialogue Talk Mr. Mosseint, he...
Truvia: Thank you for your concern. My father may be getting on in years, but he's in good health. He still handles many matters personally.
(ProtagonistProtagonist): (Ah, that wasn't really what I meant... Mosseint has always had high expectations for Truvia and the others, but he's also strict.)
(ProtagonistProtagonist): (Especially after that incident... If I remember correctly, that was around the time Truvia started to... *sigh*... I wonder whether things between her and her father have improved since then.)
Truvia: Hm? What's wrong, (‍Wise?Wise? / Belle?Belle?‍) What's got you thinking so hard?
Icon Dialogue Talk It's nothing.
Truvia: Hehe, alright then. Let's keep going.
Icon Dialogue Story Tracked Keep walking with Truvia

Truvia's interested in the chessboard-like structure up ahead. Go check it out with her.
(Ongoing)
Truvia: There seems to be a... large structure up ahead.
Truvia: Is that a chessboard?

Story A Long-Awaited Conversation

Video Summary: The most familiar stranger.
Story Description: You and Truvia catch each other up on what you've been up to, and you learn why she came to the island. But when the conversation turns to Helios, the rift between you two proves impossible to hide...

Truvia: Whoa... it really is a chessboard! I feel like... it's been ages since I last played a game of chess.
Icon Dialogue Talk Same here.
(ProtagonistProtagonist): (‍Same here.Same here. / Haha, same here.Haha, same here.‍)
Truvia: I still remember... back then, (‍Belle and IBelle and I / wewe‍) were both really into chess. Whenever exams weren't looming over us, we'd always be going head-to-head on the board.

Truvia: Hehe, well then, let me thank you two managers in advance.
Icon Dialogue Talk What about you? How've you been all these years?
(ProtagonistProtagonist): What about you, Truvia? All these years... have you been doing well?
Truvia: I... guess I'm doing alright.
Truvia: Over the years, with my father's assistance, I've continued my research on Hollow communication and navigation.
Truvia: Back in the day... as one of the primary investors behind Helios Academy, High Ambitions actually retained a small portion of the related research materials.
Truvia: My father plans to adapt the technology for commercial civilian use. Fortunately, that's something I can help with.
Icon Dialogue Talk (Does that mean...)
Icon Dialogue Talk (So High Ambitions is also continuing to research the HDD?)
(ProtagonistProtagonist): (What Truvia means is... High Ambitions Corp.... They've been conducting research related to the HDD this whole time?)
(ProtagonistProtagonist): (Does she go in and out of Hollows as much as I do? If so... what's the condition of her ocular implants?)

(ProtagonistProtagonist): Truvia, are you still using the ocular implants Helios Academy put in us?
Truvia: ...
Truvia: As fellow "Hollow Navigation Specialists," I think we both already know the answer to that question, don't we?
Truvia: Of course, I'm not trying to point fingers, and I have no intention of judging the choices you've made.
Truvia: But for me... I don't want this power to go to waste. And I don't want the memories tied to it to be forgotten along with it.
Icon Dialogue Talk Truvia, you've got it all wrong...
(ProtagonistProtagonist): Truvia, (‍youyou / you'veyou've‍) got it wrong—that's not what I meant.
(ProtagonistProtagonist): That incident back then... Helios Academy never fully resolved it. And not long ago, my ocular implants started acting up again...
Truvia: Enough.
(ProtagonistProtagonist): ...
Truvia: Let's not talk about this anymore.
Truvia: I want to hold on to those memories, but that doesn't mean I want you dragging me back to that day.
Truvia: I don't want today... this day of our reunion to become the continuation of that day.
(ProtagonistProtagonist): ...Sorry.
Truvia: It's ok... that's all in the past now. Didn't you say it yourself? We were just kids back then, we didn't know any better...
Truvia: And childhood... it's nothing more than the briefest chapter in our long, drawn-out lives.
Truvia: Compared to the "present" and the "future," it's insignificant, and... not really worth you and me bringing up over and over again.

A Timely Interruption

Story A Timely Interruption

Video Summary: The most familiar stranger.
Story Description: Just as both of you are trying to shake off the awkward tension, (‍BelleBelle / WiseWise‍) shows up and interrupts the conversation between you and Truvia. Before you can even turn to see Truvia leave, a message suddenly comes in from Norma...

Meanwhile—
(SiblingSibling): (‍Wise, Truvia! I knew you'd be here!Wise, Truvia! I knew you'd be here! / Belle, Truvia, I knew you two would be here!Belle, Truvia, I knew you two would be here!‍)
Icon Dialogue Talk (‍BelleBelle / WiseWise‍), what are you doing here?
(ProtagonistProtagonist): (‍BelleBelle / WiseWise‍), what are you doing here?
(SiblingSibling): We were heading back after shopping when we passed by Cuppa Moment just as the tea party was wrapping up. Sigrid mentioned you'd come out here with an old classmate, so I figured I'd swing by and check in.
(SiblingSibling): I never would've guessed it'd be Truvia...
Truvia: Heh, that was cold, (‍Belle.Belle. / Wise.Wise.‍) When your (‍brotherbrother / sistersister‍) saw me, (‍hehe / sheshe‍) was a lot more excited.
Truvia: I'd love to stick around and chat longer, but... I'd rather not put myself through trying to keep up with you two chatterboxes at the same time.
Truvia: Now that the tea party's over, I should head back to the place the ESD arranged for us before my companions start worrying.
Truvia: Wise, Belle, I'm really glad we got to see each other again here in Roscaelifer. Maybe next time... if we get the chance, we can sit down and catch up properly.
Truvia: No need to walk me back — I've checked the map, so I should be able to find my way. Besides... I'd like some time to myself. I'll see you around.
Before you can even respond, Truvia turns and walks away...
(SiblingSibling): (‍Did something happen just now? When I got here, the vibe felt... kinda off.Did something happen just now? When I got here, the vibe felt... kinda off. / Did something happen? You give (‍BelleBelle / WiseWise‍) a quick rundown of everything that happened since this morning...
(SiblingSibling): *sigh* ...I didn't expect things to turn out like this.
Icon Dialogue Talk I got ahead of myself.
(ProtagonistProtagonist): Sorry, (‍Belle.Belle. / Wise.Wise.‍) I got ahead of myself. I should've thought it through before bringing up the ocular implants with her.
(SiblingSibling): It's okay. You meant well. Don't overthink it.
(SiblingSibling): The power inside us... We don't know how much Truvia understands it. But if anything goes wrong, we're going to have a serious problem.
(SiblingSibling): But... there's no way to talk about (‍any of thisany of this / thisthis‍) without bringing up Serpico. *sigh* We need to find the right way to tell her.
Just then, (‍BelleBelle / WiseWise‍)'s phone chimes with a notification—
(SiblingSibling): Oh, it's a message from Norma. Toby's made some progress!
(SiblingSibling): She said all of Toby's memory data has been fully restored, and there's something important she wants to show us. She's telling us to get to the academy ASAP.
(SiblingSibling): Alright, let's head over there now!
Icon Dialogue Story Tracked Head to the academy and meet Norma

After Truvia leaves, Norma sends word that there's been progress on the investigation with Toby. Head back to the academy with (‍BelleBelle / WiseWise‍) and find Norma.

Story A Clue from Norma

Video Summary: You sure these boisterous little ones are connected to the big boss pulling the strings?
Story Description: Norma has finished restoring Bangboo Toby's memories and has invited Belle and Wise to review the footage... She seems to have found some clues pointing to the mastermind behind it all.

Norma: Belle, Wise, what took you two so long!
Icon Dialogue Talk Norma, did you find anything in Toby's memories?
(ProtagonistProtagonist): Norma, did you find anything in Toby's memories? Any clues about the culprit? What exactly did they do to those Bangboo?
Norma: Whoa whoa, slow down! Your expectations are way too high! Now you're making me nervous!
Norma: Anyway, just like I said in the message I sent you—Toby's memory restoration work... is done.
Norma: Some of the data's been totally wrecked by Corruption... but no biggie! I still managed to dig up someone who looks like a prime suspect!
Norma: I've already seen it plenty of times. Here, take a look for yourselves!
Norma turns to the screen and hits play...

Story Toby's Memories

Video Summary: You sure these boisterous little ones are connected to the big boss pulling the strings?
Story Description: In the memory footage, Toby was shoved into some kind of machine by a suspicious man believed to be the real culprit. And at the location where this footage was recorded, there appear to be signs belonging to the En-Nah Gang...

???: In a moment, you're gonna get in that machine nice and quiet...
Toby: Ehn... nah... na... (My body... I can't move at all... I'm so scared...)
???: Shh, don't be scared... Soon you won't remember a thing...
???: But you've been entrusted with a very important mission... Don't forget that...
(ProtagonistProtagonist): This guy... who is he? Based on what he said, he's gotta be the culprit!
Norma: Exactly, that's what I think too! Unfortunately though, Toby had already completely lost the ability to move by that point—he never got a look at the culprit's face.
(SiblingSibling): *sigh* Even though we've confirmed there is a culprit... we don't have a lot of clues beyond that.
(SiblingSibling): Wait, the culprit mentioned something about... getting Toby into some kind of machine... If we can find that machine, we might be able to track him down.

Bangboo's Exclusive Currency

The following is recorded in the Video Archive
Story Bangboo's Exclusive Currency

Video Summary: You sure these boisterous little ones are connected to the big boss pulling the strings?
Story Description: After getting intel on the En-Nah Gang from Norma, the crew decides to head to Clink Market to gather more intel. With Cissia's help, they score the key item needed to move around Clink Market — bottle caps.

Norma: I didn't expect this to be En-Nah Gang turf... Wise, Belle, do you know anything about them?
Icon Dialogue Talk We ran into them today...
(ProtagonistProtagonist): I ran into them at the welcome tea party today. Thankfully, it was just a few harmless pranks, nothing serious.
Norma: Whoa, again...? Those little guys sure have energy to burn!
Norma: But... how did they end up getting involved with the culprit?
Icon Dialogue Talk Maybe... the culprit just happened to be on their turf.
(ProtagonistProtagonist): It's also (‍possiblepossible / possible...possible...‍) that the culprit just happened to be on En-Nah Gang turf.
(ProtagonistProtagonist): I've heard the En-Nah Gang is an organization that really cares about Bangboo rights. They shouldn't be colluding with humans who intend to harm Bangboo.
(SiblingSibling): Hmm... Looks like the only way to find out is to check out the En-Nah Gang's turf ourselves. Norma, do you know where we should start looking?
Norma: I don't know the exact location. I just heard... they sometimes meet up near the Clink Market on Gear Street to swap bottle caps they've scavenged.
Icon Dialogue Talk Clink Market...?
Icon Dialogue Talk Bottle caps...?
(SiblingSibling): Clink Market...? Bottle caps?
Norma: Mhm, the Bangboo have their own little market, right on Gear Street.
Norma: Oh, right, they've been doing roadwork around there for a while... You probably haven't been there yet, huh?
Norma: Gear Street is where the Bangboo hang out — it's packed with facilities catering specifically to them, and Bangboo love settling down there.
Norma: Some people even call it Bangboo Street. Same place, different names.
Norma: As for bottle caps... I dunno if you've noticed, but the Bangboo in Roscaelifer are absolutely obsessed with collecting all kinds of bottle caps! They've basically become hard currency at this point — more useful than Dennies, even!
(SiblingSibling): So basically, if we wanna go collect intelligence from the Bangboo, we'll need to have some bottle caps (‍ready...ready... / ready. Huh...ready. Huh...‍) Oh, I just got an idea.
(‍BelleBelle / WiseWise‍) quickly types out something on the phone. A few minutes later, a familiar figure appears—
Cissia: I'm here, Wise, Belle! Check it out — are these bottle caps enough?
(ProtagonistProtagonist): Cissia? Are you secretly a Bangboo or something? Where'd you get all these bottle caps?!
Cissia: What are you even talking about...? I brought these myself! Before coming to Roscaelifer, I was worried there wouldn't be anything good to eat, so I stuffed a ton of snacks and drinks into my luggage.
Cissia: And then... things have been crazy lately with one emergency after another! I forgot to take out the trash in my room, and then *gibberish*... Anyway, the bottle caps you wanted — I found 'em for you!
(ProtagonistProtagonist): (...Never thought the day would come when I'd be grateful that Cissia never bothered to take out the trash.)
Cissia: But... what do you guys need so many bottle caps for? Feeding your Bangboo?
Together with Norma, you give Cissia a quick explanation of the plan to find the En-Nah Gang...
Cissia: Oh, I see... Then what are we waiting for? Let's get moving!
Norma: I'll sit this one out! With someone from the ESD tagging along, I doubt you'd get anyone to talk.
Norma: Here! I've marked Gear Street on the map for you! The road there should've been fixed up yesterday, so you can head straight over! But hey, don't go telling anyone I'm the one who tipped you off!
(ProtagonistProtagonist): Alright, let's go! We'll catch you later, Norma!
