Etheric Other

Etheric Others are mysterious Etheric entities, born from the Ether within an individual.
Overview
An Etheric Other is a physical manifestation of highly concentrated Ether energy that exists within an individual.[1] Such a being requires its host body to have an immense amount of Ether residing within it, and then a stable medium to manifest through such as Porcelloy.
Etheric Others are not independent entities, instead being a representation of the power generated from the body and soul of a person, referred to as an "Etheric Other User". Currently, Pyrois, born from the power of Helios within Phaethon, is the only known example of these entities. As such, they are used as a vessel for both Phaethon and Helios at varying times.
Due to being the only example of an Etheric Other, information about these beings and their history is limited to what is currently understood about Pyrois.
History
The origin of Etheric Others is unknown, but they were known to exist in some capacity before Phaethon materialized Pyrois for the first time.[2]
After coming in to contact with The Creator, the Ether within Phaethon began to spiral out of control, culminating in Helios, the entity within Phaethon, to take control of their body and mutate in to a monstrous form, which only served as the catalyst for Helios to fully manifest. After it was suppressed by Remielle Dan, Phaethon went to Roscaelifer to undergo treatment for this overflow of Ether within them.[3]
Upon arriving at the CCD for treatment, Phaethon and Helios had an internal confrontation, with Phaethon winning and Helios begrudgingly loaning them a portion of its power. Having absorbed a large amount of Porcelloy in to themselves as part of the treatment, this allowed Phaethon to materialize their Etheric Other: Pyrois, for the first time.[4] Pyrois would then go on to aid Phaethon in their endeavours throughout Roscaelifer.
