The Xianzhou Yuanqiao

The Xianzhou Yuanqiao was one of the nine Flagships owned by the fleet that would become the Xianzhou Alliance.
History
During the Lone Voyage Era, when the Xianzhou fleet was still wandering the galaxy, the population of the Xianzhou Yuanqiao and the Xianzhou Daiyu declined drastically due to the corrosion of viscorpuses.[1]
At the end of Year 2609 Star Calendar, the Yuanqiao, along with the Yuque, Cangcheng, and Xuling, all introduced their own Yellowjacket Census and Almanacs, advising of all death revitalizations on Xianzhou for that year.[2]
In April, Year 3062 Star Calendar, the Yuanqiao coarse rebelled, though they were suppressed by the nobles.[2]
In February, Year 3198 Star Calendar, the Xianzhou fleet was embroiled in chaos due to coarse revolts on several ships. The coarse master messaged each ship in denouncement and the coarse launched an assault on the Xianzhou Zhuming.[2] This battle, along with the previous unrest, turned into a full-fledged civil war that became known as the "Living Catastrophe" of the Three Sufferings Era.[3]
Heavily damaged from the civil war, the Yuanqiao's engines stalled on November 21st in Year 3287 Star Calendar. The ship lost control and drifted into a red giant, disappearing completely. All 130 billion people aboard the ship were killed when it was destroyed.[4] With both the nobles and the coarse of the Alliance in bereavement, a ceasefire was reached between them.[2]
Trivia
- The Yuanqiao engulfed in riot and plunging into the red giant is a type of woe fortune that can be divined by Ruoyue.[5]
- The Yuanqiao was the second ship to be destroyed, after the Xianzhou Daiyu exploded in 1200 Star Calendar.[3] However, the readable History of the Xianzhou: Errata erroneously states that there were eight ships left in 3300 Star Calendar.
