Abyssal Riftlines

Abyssal Riftlines are an exploration mechanic in Nod-Krai. They are exclusive to the northern areas of Nod-Krai: Voidsea Outlook, Wavechaser Plain, and Ashveil Peak.
Similarly to Fontemer Seagrass, Abyssal Riftlines can be severed by targeting their weak nodes with a Spirebloom's kuuvahki lightblades or the impact of a Slothsheep. Sometimes, multiple nodes must be destroyed at the same time. Some Abyssal Riftlines may not reveal their weak nodes immediately, and some nodes may move around.
Abyssal Riftlines can also appear above enemies and allies. For enemies, severing the Riftline typically deals significant damage to the enemy. For allies, the Riftline will temporarily turn them hostile, but destroying it will revert them back to an ally.

- Abyssal Riftlines
Abyssal will lurks constantly beyond the "border," keeping a watchful eye over the world. These Riftlines are the probes they extend from the fissures.
Use Spireblooms to unleash kuuvahki lightblade(s) and sever the weak nodes of these riftlines, or unleash sufficiently strong kuuvahki currents to eliminate them.
Sometimes, living beings bound to these Riftlines will be affected by abyssal will and lose control of their sanity. Affected enemies will become more vicious, once-friendly allies may also turn berserk.
When encountering such situations, sever the Abyssal Riftlines to block this malign influence.
- Super Sharp Spireblooms...
A strange plant that coexists with kuuvahki energy. You can gain the ability to deploy a shield and unleash razor-sharp kuuvahki lightblade(s) by absorbing its fruits.
After absorbing the fruits, Hold to deploy a shield that can block incoming attacks from outside the shield.
While Holding to deploy a shield, you can aim and unleash the kuuvahki lightblade. At the same time, you can also Tap to switch the horizontal and vertical orientation of the kuuvahki lightblade to target different enemies.This ability can be used to deal damage to enemies or sever targets that are difficult to attack. In addition, kuuvahki lightblades may also be used to charge Fallowed objects.At the moment the shield flashes just before being struck by a distant wave of Abyssal energy, you can release your attack to trigger a deflecting counterattack. The incoming attack will be converted into a more powerful kuuvahki lightblade, dealing unexpected DMG to the enemy.
- Blightseep Fields
- A Blightseep Field formed by the filth spilling forth from the Abyssal rifts. Within the corrupted area, characters will continuously lose HP. Objects that coexist with kuuvahki will become Blighted due to its influence.
Upon eliminating the Abyssal Entities in the area, the corruption will also dissipate.
