Sniffer Mole

Sniffer Moles are an exploration mechanic in Nod-Krai.

They come in two forms, red and blue, and may help the player find Unipolar Fields of the same color if given a Kuuvahki Relay Mechanism. They can also act as a source of kuuvahki, allowing nearby players to enter an empowered state.

Lore

Sniffer Moles are very friendly towards humans and, according to Auni, have a "bad habit of begging for stuff."^[1] They seem to covet mechanical components, such as Old Portable Bearings, Training Ground Targets, and especially Kuuvahki Relay Mechanisms. It is unclear why they love these items; Paimon hypothesizes that they use them as home décor.^[2]

Sniffer Moles are an omnivorous species and are capable of consuming food that has been cooked for human consumption.^[3]

There are at least two groups of Sniffer Moles living in the tunnels beneath the Northern Training Ground: "The Hollowhands" (coined by Sisko) and the "Moley family" (coined by Auni).
