Perches are significant trees that can be found around Tsurumi Island. The native people of the island believe that it is necessary to make offerings to them because the Thunderbird once perched on those trees.
The perches feature as a gameplay mechanic in the World Quest series Through the Mists.

According to the native people of Tsurumi Island, the Thunderbird once perched upon these trees, and thus it is necessary to make offerings to them. Touch the perch, and the power within it will transform into 3 feathers and fly away. Gather the scattered power to complete the offering process.
