Obol Squad, full name Defense Force - Obol Squad, is a faction in Zenless Zone Zero. It is one of the squads currently under command of the New Eridu Defense Force's Obsidian Division.
Gameplay Notes
For the purposes of Faction-based effects, all Agents across New Eridu Defense Force squads are considered to belong in one faction. For example, Soldier 11's Additional Ability: Fields of Fire can activate with Soldier 0 - Anby, despite them being from different NEDF squads.

Etymology
- Obols were silver coins used in ancient Greece. When a person died, an obol was traditionally placed in the corpse's mouth to pay Charon for passage to the Greek underworld.
