Izmaylov (Family)

The Izmaylov family, typically referred to as the Izmaylovs, are a Snezhnayan gang currently led by "Young Sire" Vasiliy Nikolayevich Izmaylov.^[1]

After the events of World Quest Series Mean Streets of the Despicable, the gang is left leaderless.

Overview

The Izmaylovs were established by the Domovoy researcher Izmaylov, known as "Old Sire."^[1] After Izmaylov was killed by Vasiliy, he took over and was called the "Young Sire." Discontent with his current standing and the indifference of the Fae Gang's High Table, Vasiliy began researching the Shadow Realm, believing it would bring the Izmaylovs into a new era of prosperity despite the obvious dangers if it failed, which also included alerting the Druzhna if they discovered the leak.

Going against the decrees made during the gang's founding, the Izmaylovs would begin harassing everyone, including women and children for various debts. The Traveler, who ran into one such incident, was invited by the Luchkins to investigate Vasiliy's plans and discovered that he planed to open a rift into the Shadow Realm using a key made from Kresnik Kristall. The Traveler and the Luchkins were able to stop Vasiliy from opening the rift, where he died from injuries sustained during the battle. In the aftermath of his death, Zmei and the others began looking for a replacement while keeping the family intact.
