Last updated 2026-09-10

Tideseal Stones are an exploration mechanic in Nod-Krai.

They were placed by the Lightkeepers to dispel the permeation of the Wild Hunt.

Three of the Tideseal Stones have a blue Lightkeeper symbol on them. These stones are subject of the World Quest The Bell of Mourning Echoes and the Hidden Exploration Objective Secrets of the Tideseal Stones.

Tideseal Stone #1

Flins
(Use Flins to interact with the Tideseal Stone)
Flins: Hold on. Something is struggling within the fissure. And I sense that it... is not the Wild Hunt.
Flins: Let us break the Hunt's shackles. Perhaps we have come upon an innocent caught in its claws.
(A kuuhenki emerges from the fissure)
(After following the kuuhenki)
Flins: The Wild Hunt has always been a rare sight on Hiisi Island. They seem afraid of the moon's power, and dare not approach.
Flins: Alright, we've sent the kuuhenki on its way back to Hiisi Island. Hopefully, it stays safe this time.
Illuga
(Use Illuga to interact with the Tideseal Stone)
Illuga: Wait, I think there's something trapped inside that rift...
Illuga: Don't worry, I'll get you out of there.
(A kuuhenki emerges from the fissure)
(After following the kuuhenki)
Illuga: You should be safe now. The moon's power protects this place, so even the Wild Hunt wouldn't dare to come close.
Illuga: There you go, little one. Don't let the Wild Hunt catch you again.

Tideseal Stone #2

Flins: The monsters have disappeared, but still, a fissure remains. And through it...
Flins: I sense the thick stench of the Abyss. Something lurks behind this rift.
Flins: Well, come out then. Or would you prefer a sealed letter of invitation?
Flins: Did you truly think sneaking out of the fissure unseen would allow you to escape our eyes?
(After defeating the Wilderness Hunter)
Flins: The monsters that follow the Wild Hunt do not utterly lack intelligence, and they have some sense of strategy.
Flins: As such, the consequences for underestimating the enemy in any battle are dire indeed.
Illuga

Illuga: The monsters here have been driven back, and yet a Wild Hunt rift remains. Could it be...?
Illuga: Enough hiding, you wretch. I know you're lurking behind that rift.
Illuga: Cheap tricks like this won't fool me. Come out and face your end!
(After defeating the Wilderness Hunter)
Illuga: That should be the last of them... The old man was right. The Wild Hunt has been getting craftier lately.
Illuga: Looks like we'll need to be a lot more careful from now on.

Tideseal Stone #3

Flins: Normally, once all the monsters that follow the Wild Hunt have been defeated, the stench of its taint should fade along with them.
Flins: But this fissure persists... Unusual, but not unprecedented.
Flins: Let's search the area. Perhaps something unclean still remains.
(Investigate the Oath Lantern on top of the rock)
Icon Hand Small Investigate
Flins: Ah, a lantern. This is something that all Lightkeepers carry with them, and is a key tool in dispersing the Wild Hunt...
Flins: The lantern remains, and on its cover lingers the scent of the Wild Hunt's permeation. The bearer, however, is nowhere to be found.
Flins: I see. Though perplexing, it's not hard to conclude what happened here.
Flins: The sacrifices of our Lightkeeper brethren are sometimes silent as a whisper. Finding out my colleagues have passed in this way is... always a shame.
Flins: ...Allow me to carry the lantern you left behind, nameless one.
Flins: Its body will be cleansed, its light, rekindled. It will find a new home in the arms of another Lightkeeper who vows to protect Nod-Krai.
Flins cleans the lantern, then carefully puts it away.
Flins: This lantern must be why the Wild Hunt didn't completely disappear. I'll hold on to it until someone from headquarters can come to retrieve it.
Illuga

Illuga: Normally, once the nearby monsters are cleared out, the rifts around here should disappear on their own.
Illuga: So why does the Wild Hunt's presence still linger...? This is far too strange.
Illuga: Could there be something I've overlooked? Something else that's been tainted by the Wild Hunt?
(Investigate the Oath Lantern on top of the rock)
Icon Hand Small Investigate
Illuga: There's an Oath Lantern here as well. It must've belonged to someone who came before us...
Illuga: The lantern is still stained with the Wild Hunt's corruption. It's not hard to imagine what happened...
Illuga: From the day we take up the Oath Lantern, our lives are bound to the flame within it, until the moment our rightful mission is fulfilled.
Illuga: To you, who fought to your last breath for the peace and safety of Nod-Krai, I offer my deepest respect.
Illuga: I will take your lantern for now. Rest assured, the crown of the honored fallen will keep your legacy safe.
Illuga: I'll bring it back to headquarters, rekindle its flame, and entrust it to someone worthy of carrying your will forward.
Illuga cleans the lantern, then carefully puts it away.
Illuga: With that, the Wild Hunt has been wiped out from this place, and our predecessor's spirit has finally found its rest.

Trivia

  • After clearing the enemies for the first time and claiming the chest, respawning Wasteland Wild Hunt enemies can be encountered at the locations.
