Divine Barrier of Transcendent Enlightenment

The player can use Dex to take temporary control over them when their weak spot is exposed. Defeating them will drop a Deathmuse Shards which Dex can absorb.

Every time it slams down, it will expose its weak point for a brief period. After the Maranasati Casket is damaged once, it will gain the ability to use this attack 4 times in quick succession.

Ascend

It periodically summons blocks to smash down to the ground, each creating an expanding shockwave that deals 100% Level Multiplier as True Physical DMG on contact. The player may use Dex's ability to stretch the blocks into climable pillars. The player must build a pillar directly in front of the Maranasati Casket and climb it to reach the weak spot.

It periodically summons blocks to smash down to the ground, each creating an expanding shockwave that deals 100% Level Multiplier as True Physical DMG on contact. The player may use Dex's ability to stretch the blocks into climable pillars. The player must build a pillar directly in front of the Maranasati Casket and climb it to reach the weak spot.

The Maranasati Caskets were created by Ronova and guard the Apathic Interval, attacking all approaching life forms and imprisoning them in cages.^[1]

Trivia

The name "Maranasati Caskets" seems to be a direct reference to the Maraṇasati (mindfulness of death, death awareness), a Buddhist meditation practice of regarding death as “inevitable” and living with that urgency in every moment.
