The Local Legend initially appears as a normal Burrowbeast. While in this state, it has 120% increased RES. It will also have a Fury bar that naturally fills up over time, but will fill faster if struck by Electro and its related reactions. Once the bar is filled, the boss will turn gigantic, temporarily losing access to both Burrow and Charge. The increased RES is also lifted in this state.

If allowed to successfully charge, it will slam it onto ground in a large AoE, dealing ?% ATK as Electro DMG before immediately returning into its miniature state. If struck by a Stellar Glimmer Reaction during the charging sequence (a successful interruption will have the icon flash rapidly), the Burrowbeast will attempt to slam the projectile, only for it to harmlessly fizzle out. It will become confused for ~2 seconds after which it will temporarily reassume its gigantic form for two more attacks before returning to its miniature state.

According to a report in Vestnik, a worker living in Svetloledovka once saw a giant Burrowbeast nearly as tall as two people... though that is probably nothing more than a wild rumor.
