One who sheds a shattered shell in darkness, reborn through corruption, having forsaken its fallen form.

According to Hollow Investigative Association reports, Avarus is often jokingly called the embodiment of "the sin of gluttony" — its pot-bellied shape makes it look like a lazy lump, ready to nap at any moment.
But don't be fooled. Observations show that Avarus can curl into a ball and strike its targets with incredible speed.
As for how it keeps that round figure despite such intense activity? The Association is still scratching its head.

During combat, Metamorphosed - Avarus will use its massive body to perform rolling attacks. Successfully triggering Defensive Assist three times in a row against this move will interrupt its rolling attack and expose its vulnerability. After taking a certain amount of DMG in combat, it will activate a Corruptive Barrier.
