Profile
Luciana de Montefio, whose full name is Luciana Auxesis Theodoro de Montefio, is the daughter of the current head of the prestigious New Eridu Montefio family.[1] Her personality is usually akin to that of a tsundere, seemingly acting harsh when she actually is compassionate and kind underneath, which may have been caused by her severed family ties and Outer Ring life.
Referring to herself as solely Lucy, due to her real name being far too long and not wanting to be involved with her family, she now performs the role of "Boar Thiren Overseer" for the "Leaps and Bounds Express Services Co.,"[2] a name used by the Sons of Calydon for their official logistics business.[3]
Due to Lucy being considered a missing person, with there being a sizable reward for her safe return to her family,[4][5] she prefers to stay in the Outer Ring, seldomly returning to the city. Despite Lucy's best efforts, however, her father is aware of her whereabouts, believing that she will return home by herself at some point, as he himself went through a rebellious phase and ran away from home for over a decade, before eventually returning to don the mantle of the family business and responsibilities.[1]
Lucy currently spends a lot of her time challenging Caesar King to duels,[1] in the hopes of one day ruling the Outer Ring herself.[6] However, deep down inside she actually cares for her, although she prefers to hide it, feeling flustered if confronted.[7]
History
Despite belonging to an extremely wealthy family where everything was laid-out for her and provided for her, whether it be a proper education[8] or piano lessons,[9] the one thing Lucy truly desired was the freedom to live her life how she pleased.
After taking an Ether Aptitude Test that came back remarkably high, she professed that she wished to become a Hollow Investigator, only to be met with refusal, harsh words, isolation and confinement, and emotional abuse from her family, which led to her deciding to leave to find her own freedom.[10]
She ended up devising a plan, whereby she would fall victim to a kidnapping of her own creation, in order to create an opening for her to flee her current situation. This plan never came to fruition, however, as Caesar King from the Sons of Calydon would end up defeating the faux kidnappers and "saving" her in the process. From that point on, Lucy vowed to become a fully-fledged member of the Sons of Calydon herself.

Lucy is currently in charge of outgoing business and managing boars for the Sons of Calydon.
Since her name is far too long and she doesn't want to be involved with her family, she refers to herself as just "Lucy" in the Outer Ring.
Her three boars are called Grassy, Woody, and Bricky, and they're unceasingly loyal to her.
Though Lucy often speaks with a mixture of rough and elegant language, her actions subtly betray the marks of a proper education.
Lucy's family is incredibly wealthy. She grew up very privileged, with anything she could ever want within grasp... except for freedom.
After her Ether Aptitude test results came back high, Lucy decided she wanted to be a Hollow Investigator, but her family disapproved. She was met with harsh words, isolation and confinement, and emotional abuse which led to her deciding to leave to find her own freedom.
"Hmph! There's no chance I'll ever go back! If I'm found... then I can say goodbye to the stars and sky and I'll have to inherit the family business instead!"
Lucy is extremely competitive. She loves to win and hates losing.
Currently, the one who has given her the most bitter taste of defeat is Caesar, so Lucy keeps challenging Caesar to duels, losing then challenging again, challenging then losing again.

The way Lucy joined the Sons of Calydon was both comedic and dramatic.
To run away from home, she hired some "kidnappers" and devised a kidnapping for herself. Yet, this plan was accidentally screwed up by the Sons of Calydon — Caesar defeated all the "kidnappers" and saved their "victim."
According to eye-witness testimony, the sight of Caesar crashing straight through the door on her ride with the sunlight behind her left quite the impression on Lucy.
"That was when I saw it — freedom."
From then on, Lucy stuck with Caesar, eager to join the Sons of Calydon.

- Lucy's helmet bears a striking resemblance to that of the Pickelhaube, a military headpiece most infamously employed by the former Kingdom of Prussia's army from the early 1840s & the latter German Empire's army as the infantry standard from 1871-1918; yet in some modern contexts, it is used and/or worn as a symbol of rebellion by some, notably American, biker gangs who adopt it into their culture to look tough.
