Kālacakra Skyplume

Kālacakra Skyplume (Chinese: 时轮天雉明王) is the Spiritus granted by Lan to the Arbiter-General of the Xianzhou Yuque. It represents The Hunt's vision, one of the seven aspects of the Reignbow as a symbol of foresight, verdict, and self-discipline. Currently Yao Guang commands Kālacakra Skyplume, and it can take the form of her feather fan.^[1]

Overview

Kālacakra Skyplume can take the form of a feather fan, and grants their wielder the Eye of Īśvara which allows them to read the flow of destiny and observe Weal and Woe of individuals, manifesting as fortune slips above their foreheads, allowing her to divine their fates, observe events and predict their movements and location.^[1] The exception to this are Īśvara, an individual that has far greater freedom of choice than ordinary people who's mere presence in the playfield creates a "variable", though they're still caught in the currents of fate.^[2] As with most forms of divination, it is in essence, observation, calculation and an interference with the future. Each reading drives the uncertain future toward a definite outcome, a collapsed quantum state, even if that outcome isn't to one's liking.

This ability can be enhanced through various means. During the Phantasmoon Games, if Yao Guang had worn the mask and became a supplicant, the Eye of Īśvara would transcend mere sight and divinations would permeate into Planarcadia. The Kālacakra Skyplume would predict the future of all beings at tens of billions of instances per second, sealing the fate of all living beings in the arcadia within a death trap.^[3] During the catastrophe at Planarcadia, Yao Guang activated the Deca-Light Reflection Barrier and the formation plume she had set up all over Planarcadia, then used the power of "observation" of Kālacakra Skyplume to counter the countless clones created by the Lord Ravager Asat Pramad, who possesed the ability to manipulate possibilities and manifested them through imagenesis, to anchor his true form and his manifold illusions collapsed back into a solitary form.^[4]

Etymology

• Kālacakra is a polysemic term in Vajrayana Buddhism and Hinduism that means "wheel of time" or "time cycles". Kālacakra also refers both to a patron tantric deity or yidam in Vajrayana and to the philosophies and yogas of the Kālacakra tradition. The specific deity appears as a fierce multi-armed blue deity with a consort called Visvamata (or Kālacakri). The Kālacakra deities represent the aspects of Buddhahood: the non-dual union of compassion and emptiness, the union of wisdom and method, as well as the great bliss of enlightenment. Since Kālacakra is time and everything is the flow of time, Kālacakra knows all.
• Īśvara is a concept in Hinduism, with a wide range of meanings that depend on the era and the school of Hinduism. In ancient texts of Hindu philosophy, depending on the context, Īśvara can mean lord, ruler, king, husband, queen, soul or the Supreme Self. In medieval-era Hindu texts, depending on the school of Hinduism, Īśvara means God, Supreme Being, personal God, or special Self.
