Mass amounts of missing information, specifically around Swarm Disaster and recent history
A timeline of historical events within or involving the Interastral Peace Corporation and its many departments and staff.
Founding
- ? AE — The Interastral Peace Corporation originated as a support team to assist Qlipoth in building their Celestial Comet Wall. They attempted to travel to different worlds to gather supplies as an offering to the Amber Lord. Since they only collected construction materials, however, the support team could only offer construction materials to trade.[1]
- 1357~ AE — Louis Fleming began trading for construction materials by offering other resources, such as fruit, for a certain marked-up price. This allowed the support team to realize that they needed to acquire and supply goods that are desirable to trade partners. And thus, Dongfang Qixing decided that to be the only trade business in the cosmos, they must set their own rules.[1]
- 1387~ AE — Louis Fleming and Dongfang Qixing announced the reformation of the support team and started the IPC. At the same moment, the IPC introduced the universal galactic currency: credits. They assigned a price tag to the specialties of every planet, which locals now purchased directly from the IPC using its credits.[1]
Borderstar Trade War and First Mechanical War
Following the Swarm Disaster, the IPC underwent a reorganization as internal forces actively sought new paths of development.[2]
- Three figures rose to power within the IPC, being Telora Farnsha of the Public Relations Division, Korapao of the Cargo Division and De Wayne from the Technology Division. Telora Farnsha was called the Godmother and had the support of the four major Guardians. Korapao has the support of the Associates, and De Wayne was in charge of decryption.[3] However, De Wayne held no match against Farnsha and Korapao's influence.[4]
- The Candelagraphos made a deduction that the Sanguine Condolences was a declaration of war by a faction against the IPC, but was later overruled as Cyprogo was under De Wayne's supervision.[5]
- The executive director of IPC has terminated the collaboration with the Garden of Recollection after the last discussion with Korapao, and the Memory Bubble technology that Telora Farnsha vouched for was forced to give way to the Synesthesia Beacon. Nevertheless, Telora Farnsha was soon promoted to P-48, and her forces formed the Trade Division, while she and Korapao held the monopoly of many galaxies, sparking the Borderstar Trade War.[2] Before this, anti-war proposals were sent to the IPC.[6]
- De Wayne of the Technology Division saw the opportunity to colonize inorganic worlds and established an armed organization, eventually making a fortune to stand up against Farnsha and Korapao.[4][7]
- Korapao hired Professor Cressitra from the Intelligentsia Guild to create a synthetic Anti-Organic Equation, but a promise was made to never use it.[9]
- Professor Cressitra from built a long-distance vesself for Korapao to keep himself safe during the war, but after an act of betrayal against Cressitra, they blew up the vessel, resulting in a Spice Ordeal happening in Temptra underneath Farnsha's authority. Korapao was to sever ties with Farnsha's faction and lose support in the Emperor's War.[9]
- Korapao breaks their promise and injects the Equation into his army and lets them enjoy the benefits of inorganic lifeforms.[9]
- De Wayne reaches the peak of Broadened Cognition, but the Enigmata interferes and traps De Wayne into a scenario where he keeps reaching for the woman on top, but fails and fails, which felt as long as the universe's existence.[4]
- Once the Borderstar Trade War ends, The Guardians utilize Temptra's Psychological Manipulation skill to affect the Outreach and Engagement Division. It is then revealed that De Wayne lost his mind, and Korapao died by hanging himself after being deserted.[10]
- It was later revealed that Polka Kakamond of the Genius Society was supported by Dongfang Qixing.[6]
- At an unknown point, the Doctors of Chaos offered the Revitalization-310 as a means to cure Nihility; however, the medicine gave about unnaturally positive feedback, resulting in its misuse as a psychological anesthetic. Before the IPC intervened, sixteen systems which had been introduced to it and were on the verge of destruction and have now reverted to oblivion.[11]
Recent History
- 2022 SC — The IPC became allies with the Xianzhou Alliance[12]
- ? AE — The IPC acquired Penacony and designated it as a prison planet, ordering all inmates to salvage the overflowing Memory Bubbles for the Garden of Recollection.[13]
- ? AE — A Stellaron Disaster appears in Penacony, leading the IPC to weaken its hold on Penacony.
- 2151~ AE — The organization alongside the Intelligentsia Guild began appearing on Jarilo-VI.[15] When the Antimatter Legion targeted the planet for invasion, the IPC fled, but not before giving an immense amount of funds for the Architects to build a wall surrounding Belobog and advanced automatons to use, giving them 280 years to repay the debt. The Architects ended up not using the provided automatons, as they did not know how to operate them and instead created replicas based on the blueprints left behind. In the end, the Supreme Guardian at the time, Alisa Rand, used the Stellaron to stop the Antimatter Legion via the Eternal Freeze. The payment was canceled 100 years after signing, as Jarilo-VI lost contact with the rest of the universe, making the IPC believe that the planet's civilization was destroyed.[16]
- 2155 AE — A ship escapes from ancient Benzaitengoku to New Londinium, an industrial planet under the IPC. The governor took great interest in the refugees' homeland and reported it to the Marketing Development Department.[17]
- 2156 AE — Following Director Oswaldo's orders, the Marketing Development Department's research fleet arrives at Ahatopia, marking the debut of "Planarcadia".[17]
- 2156 AE — Due to the threat of the Stellarons along with the Antimatter Legion and Annihilation Gang causing havoc in the galaxy, the Technology Department sends Dudley to recruit Genius Society member #79 Chadwick and other researchers to create the Imaginary Implosion Pulse. The weapon was eventually deployed against Antimatter Legion vanguards that threatened IPC trade routes, but with the collateral damage of 24 other planets, three of which hosted civilizations of Grade D or above. While the IPC issued a statement condemning the detonation and conducted an internal review, removing the higher-ups who ordered the detonation, they continued to pursue the technology. Aware of their intentions, Chadwick spoke to Screwllum and acquired the Selective Blocking Agent, preventing them from extracting any useful information from him. The IPC eventually decided to wait for the death of his physical body, upon which they used Garden of Recollection technology to preserve his memoria in a Memory Bubble, which was placed in the Dreamscape to sustain it.[18]
- 8072~ SC — The IPC hired Anwen to infiltrate an evidence room in order to steal secrets regarding human experimentation performed by the Disciples of Sanctus Medicus. She was apprehended by the Cloud Knights at the Exalting Sanctum. The case was considered by the Luofu to be of utmost sensitivity, and anyone handling the case was ordered to deny all spy trade requests from the corporation.[19]
- 8098 SC, October — The IPC supports the Xianzhou Yaoqing in defeating the Sakin Chadu star system's abominations.[20]
- 8098 SC, November — The IPC helps the Xianzhou Yaoqing harness local minerals in the Sakin Chadu star system and recuperate.[20]
Unknown Time Period
- The star system Zaum was blessed by a prophet who brought knowledge far ahead of its time, allowing them to create cutting-edge technology and negotiate with the IPC. The IPC, refusing to let a star system in their logistics chain horse-trade with them, turned the people of Zaum against each other, using assassination, sowing discord, and inciting division. The star system later fell to memoria and infighting.[21]
- One of the IPC's executives, Oswaldo Schneider, would take control of the Marketing Development Department after parting ways with The Nameless. On the planet Sigonia-IV, there had been an issue plaguing the corporation for multiple Amber Eras, which Oswaldo successfully resolved. However, the clans subsequently excluded the Avgins and Katicans due to their hostilities. The Katicans later plotted to kill the Avgins during the Kakava, an important Avgin festival. Despite Oswaldo's assurances that he would protect them when they asked for assistance, he failed to honor his agreement, leading to many Avgins being killed or labelled as missing; despite this stain, the operation was still considered a success.[22] This led to Aventurine seemingly becoming the only Avgin remaining. Through numerous risks and sheer luck, Aventurine would soon find himself as a member of the Ten Stonehearts.
- Oswaldo would later lead an operation on Aeragan-Epharshel. Facing both time constraints and resistance from the locals, he incentivized his crew with the promise of reward for the first person to acquire the resource, while also permitting the use of military force against the population to "bring civilization to this world."[23] The operation is implied to have killed many inhabitants in an "unknown disaster," leaving only frail youth and elderly living in prohibitively small shelters. To this day, that black ore is still used in massive quantities as a rare metal to create devastating weaponry, and is shipped out to more and more planets on fleets of IPC transport ships. The Galaxy Ranger Boothill, a survivor of Aeragan-Epharshel, would subsequently seek vengeance on Oswaldo for his crimes.[23]
- Topaz's world, a small, obscure planet in the galaxy, produced heavy and chemical goods for other planets for trade. The massive amount of production resulted in its environment becoming contaminated with pollutants, and the people who were unable to leave resigned themselves to their fate. The IPC eventually came upon the world and restored the environment within a span of five years. Out of gratitude to the corporation, Topaz joined with a "lifelong" contract, soon working her way to the Ten Stonehearts with her impressive work ethics.[24]
Current Activity
- Supported by the Intelligentsia Guild, the IPC recently began developing technologies to bypass Stellaron Corrosion, and hopefully reestablish the connections between worlds. For this, they have experimented on 113 galaxies, and have seen positive results.[25]
- After the IPC repelled an Antimatter Legion invasion in the Lanlusian Segmentum, the system refused their demand to reclaim assets. Jade intervenes, attempting seven massive dumping attempts to crash their now-independent economy. The system finally relents after the IPC's fleet arrives with massive firepower.[26]
- The IPC gains control of Planarcadia and Pearl is appointed to oversee the planet's growth.
Jarilo-VI
- After the Nameless discover that Jarilo-VI is still active, the rest of the cosmos also learns of the news.
- Remembering the debt owed back then, the IPC send Topaz to investigate the planet and appraise its value, despite Aventurine's insistence that the planet was not worth the time inspecting. Topaz and her subordinates arrive on the planet and make contact with Bronya.
- Topaz offers to help reconstruct Jarilo-VI to make it more habitable, seeing it similar to her own home planet until it was saved by the IPC. Bronya is unsure and decides to ask the people what they want.
- Topaz's subordinates begin inspecting the planet's value and causing trouble, prompting Topaz to order them to not disturb the locals' lives or risk having their end of year bonuses slashed by 60%.
- Topaz meets with Svarog and learns that the people never made use of the automatons loaned to them by the IPC, but instead made their own based off their design.
- Bronya stops their fight and shows her the Engine of Creation. She explains that while Jarilo-VI appreciates the help, its people plan to forge their own path.
- Seeing their resolve, Topaz has the IPC abandon their attempts to acquire Jarilo-VI. As punishment for wasting time and resources, she is demoted and loses most of her bonuses.[27] Before she leaves the planet, she has a few of her subordinates stay behind to host the Aetherium Wars to boost the planet's economy.
- Remembering the debt owed back then, the IPC send Topaz to investigate the planet and appraise its value, despite Aventurine's insistence that the planet was not worth the time inspecting. Topaz and her subordinates arrive on the planet and make contact with Bronya.
Simulated Universe
- The IPC began to take an interest in their work of the Simulated Universe, prompting the Gold and Gears expansion, taking place before The First Emperor's war. As the Borderstar Trade War also took place around that time period, Pearl made an agreement with Herta to purchase any data related to the IPC from her.[28]
Penacony
- A situation begins to brew in Penacony, prompting Diamond to assign Opal to resolve it. However, he quickly changes his mind and gives Aventurine the task after determining that Opal's methods would result in unnecessary conflict.[29] Topaz and Jade are also sent to assist him.
- In order to explore past Penacony's Dreamscape, Aventurine concocts a plan to "die" by Acheron's hand, as her status as an Emanator of Nihility could push through the Order that the Family was attempting to re-establish. This plan involved the Trailblazer's participation and threatening their safety; without them, the plan would fail.[30] He cracks his Cornerstone before arriving.
- After entering Dreamflux Reef and exploring its secrets, Aventurine returns to the dreamscape with Argenti's aid. The remnants of his Cornerstone protect him from Nihility's taint, though he complains of nightmares, prompting the IPC to hire a Doctor of Chaos to diagnose and treat him.[31]
- Boothill confronts Aventurine and demands to know Oswaldo's location. Due to the dispute between him and Diamond, Aventurine agrees to assist him.
- An IPC fleet arrives at Asdana to stop the Family, but the fleet disperses after the situation is resolved by the Nameless, ending in Sunday's capture.
- Robin pleads with Jade to free her brother, which she does.[32]
- The Stellaron Hunter Firefly meets Jade, wanting to continue living in return for giving everything she had. Jade later reveals she knew her true identity and hopes all the Stellaron Hunters could visit her one day. She explains to Firefly that this is out of her own interests and not the IPC as a whole. Firefly understands where Jade is coming from, who tells the Stellaron Hunter to consider her response in the future.[33]
- With the situation resolved, Jade and Topaz enter negotiations with Oti Alfalfa and the Alfalfa Family.
- Oti, wanting to make Penacony independent, initially declines the two Stonehearts' attempts. Privately, Jade threatens Oti, claiming that if he did not cooperate, she would crush Penacony's economy with ease. She gives her own offer in which the IPC would not interfere in the planet's nor the Family's affairs if he abandoned the plan.
- Oti agrees to Jade's proposal and abandons his notion of making the planet independent. To commemorate the Astral Express' contribution, she invites Himeko to the negotiations, where she proposes that the IPC hold a 30% stake on the planet, of which 5% would go to the Astral Express. She also recommends Himeko as an independent director.[34]
- Jade leaves Topaz to handle the rest of the negotiations for the IPC.
- Diamond holds a meeting with the Ten Stonehearts to determine whether or not Aventurine should be cast out of the group for destroying his Cornerstone, despite the success of the Penacony operation.
- Sugilite, Obsidian (also representing Agate) and Sapphire (represented by Pearl) vote in expelling him.
- Topaz, Jade, Pearl and Amber (represented by Pearl) vote in favor of keeping him.
- Opal serves as the tiebreaker and also votes in favor of keeping him. With a majority vote, Diamond restores Aventurine's Cornerstone.[35]
- Topaz, Aventurine and Jade check out of The Reverie Hotel.[36]
- The three end up returning to Penacony to set up Currency Wars, a project that simulated IPC business combat across the cosmos. This project was intended to save costs as the IPC had many enemies across the cosmos that drained resources and manpower when they arrived to stop them.
- Jade invites the Trailblazer to the project, teaching them how play it. The Trailblazer becomes proficient, after which Topaz and Aventurine leave to resume their other projects, while Jade remains behind to help the Trailblazer.[37]
The Xianzhou Luofu
- Skott arrives at Aurum Alley and tries to take control over it, but is foiled by the Trailblazer and the Nameless. He is forced to bark and howl like a dog and taken into custody for sabotaging deliveries in the area.[38]
- The IPC is invited to the Luminary Wardance, with Topaz being sent as the IPC representative. Owlbert also makes an appearance as an announcer through a remote-controlled puppet.
- Borisin pirates attack several IPC vessels, forcing them to land on the Luofu for safety. The Luofu order the vessels searched despite the IPC's opposition, discovering several Howling Caskets inside them, a machine that uses borisin tissue. One goes berserk and is put down by the Trailblazer. Skott, who was overseeing transport of the vessels, is taken in for questioning.[39]
- Topaz and her team participate in the event but are eliminated by Luka.
- Topaz later decides to sponsor Luka, but he declines, fearing favoritism. A jealous Xianzhou native, Shuojin, takes advantage of their meetings by claiming the IPC were sponsoring him, turning public opinion against him.
- Topaz, learning of the slander, asks Luka to have a rematch against Shoujin, giving the Xianzhou native defective machinery. Luka beats Shoujin, exposing his hypocrisy and Topaz is able to market a new product.
- Boothill partakes in the event despite the IPC's opposition due to his bounty, but the Luofu refuses their request to apprehend him. Boothill eventually leaves when Yanqing proves to be a formidable opponent, not wanting the IPC to corner him.
Amphoreus
- Herta informs the IPC of Irontomb, and Jade orders an analysis of its equation, discovering that it could affect organic lifeforms. With help from Dr. Ratio, the IPC fast-track a vaccine and distribute it to affected systems within 48 hours, including those visited by the Elation, which Aventurine claims is a long-term investment. Topaz is sent to Jarilo-VI to distribute the vaccine there.
- The IPC also learn of the Lord Ravager Archforger, causing more tension between Diamond and Oswaldo.[40]
- Following Irontomb's destruction, the Trailblazer approached the IPC with the intention to mass-produce As I've Written in the hopes of accelerating Amphoreus' return, contacting both Aventurine and Topaz. Both agreed to the proposal, creating the books free of charge while having the Trailblazer head to Belobog, the Xianzhou Luofu, Penacony and Herta Space Station to spread it themselves while they would cover the other areas.
- After Irontomb is destroyed, Jade contacts the Astral Express and proposes they lead an Anti-Destruction Alliance. The group considers but ultimately declines for the time being, believing it would go against the spirit of the Trailblaze.
- Jade informs Himeko of events in Planarcadia, prompting the Astral Express to go and visit the planet. She also informs Pearl of their arrival.
Planarcadia
- Pearl meets with Himeko and Welt, asking them to reconsider Jade's proposal. The two continue to decline.
- Pearl later meets with Yao Guang, asking her to consider having the Xianzhou Alliance join the Anti-Destruction Alliance. Yao Guang declines, stating that they would consider if they could demonstrate sincerity. Yao Guang informs her that Blade has set foot on the planet and wishes to apprehend him without restrictions, which Pearl grants.
- Skott meets with the Trailblazer and March, having been appointed their bodyguard. He gets caught in Sparxie's chaos while doing so.
- Skott gets caught in a crossfire with the Synwish Syndicate and is killed by the Herald of Death alongside thirty-three members of the syndicate. Pearl manages to convince Ashveil to participate in the Phantasmoon Games.
- Silver Wolf meets Pearl in order to acquire a mask to participate in the Phantasmoon Games. Silver Wolf offers to teach Pearl the secrets of imagenesis in return for a mask, which Pearl agrees to. In return, she exposes the Stellaron Hunter's hologram and takes a data slice from her so they could have honest conversations in the future.[41]
- The Lord Ravager Asat Pramad manages to awaken the husk of Oroboros sealed on Planarcadia, causing the IPC to order an immediate planetwide evacuation, with several evacuees being sent to Astropolis with the Astral Express. Pearl also hands the Trailblazer information revealing the truth of the events, asking them to inform the IPC's top brass of the Voracity's awakening. She hoped to have the IPC consider "protection" instead of "abandonment," and remains behind with Graphia, the Stellaron Hunters and some of the Astral Express to reenact the World in Canvas to stall for time.
Astropolis
- Aventurine discovers that the traitor amongst the Ten Stonehearts is actually the Lord Ravager Archforger.[42]
- The Trailblazer, March, Sunday and Nihilux arrive on Astropolis with the Planarcadian refugees.
- The four meet with Jade, who reveals that before Pearl's transmission got to them, Oswaldo informed them that the husk could be weaponized and used against the Destruction, and the notion is supported by Yabuli. The IPC heads consider the options, with Oswaldo, Yabuli and Taravan supporting the notion, while Madam Scarred Eye, Zazzad and Diamond oppose it. Arita, the final decision maker, decided to postpone his vote but declares that he will make a final decision within five system hours.[43]
- With the help of Furbobo Weekly, the Trailblazer manages to alert the rest of the galaxy about the threat of Voracity, causing the higher-ups to agree to schedule a remote meeting with them. Zazzad and Diamond are unable to attend.
- The Trailblazer successfully convinces Arita to oppose the notion, however while waiting for a post interview the Trailblazer, March and Nihilux realize that they had been duped by Yannick in an attempt to stall for time. Fortunately, they are able to escape the venue, and Kenneth Arita, disgusted by Yannick's actions, apologizes and decides to personally bring the trio to Arita himself.
- Arita agrees to hear the Trailblazer out, admitting that both Oswaldo and Diamond's options are unfeasible and is in need of a third option. The Trailblazer successfully convinces Arita to oppose the notion, and with the decision-breaking vote, Qlipoth gazes upon Planarcadia, allowing the World in Canvas ceremony to succeed and seal off the husk. Arita asks for Asat Pramad's head in return to properly contain it. However, the head ends up being given to Yabuli.[44]
