But Ganyu suggested that it might be a fine occasion to invite some close friends over for a feast, which sounded to one's ears like a rather pleasant idea indeed... One just so happens to have been working on a mechanism that can create all sorts of snacks and desserts, and thought it was high time to demonstrate its faculties to all of you. In combination with the tea that one recently procured, one worries only that the young ones might get a little carried away. Many friends have already arrived, both old and new, so why don't you join us for a repast too? You needn't go to the trouble of preparing a gift — your presence will be sufficient. | |

One has taken up residence in Liyue Harbor for quite some time now, and to be sure, the affairs of the mortal realm have proved tumultuous compared to the untroubled existence one led on Mt. Aocang. However, one has observed a certain warmth, unique to mortals, beneath these everyday interactions. Take this morning, for instance. Several children from the neighborhood visited one's abode and poured forth a litany of heartfelt wishes for one's birthday from memory — last among which, that one should live to see a hundred. Worried that such speech might offend, Shuyu swiftly steered the conversation elsewhere. Ah, but with such kind children and a disciple of thoughtful, filial inclination, how could one be anything save elated? Therefore, one has prepared gifts in return — Adepti Sigils to ward off misfortune for all you young ones. Ganyu's, Shenhe's, and Shuyu's have already been wrapped, and of course, there is one each for you and your little companion. Once the birthday banquet concludes, do line up in an orderly fashion to collect your gifts. After all... Ahem! For my birthday banquet this year, I intend to hold it at my humble abode. I have neglected my mountain home, having spent all this time in the mortal realm. Thankfully, an old friend of mine has kindly kept the area in front of my abode "immaculate." Since he is so fond of this serene sanctuary, I naturally took this occasion to ask him to clean the inside and outside as well. Presumably, such a task will pose no difficulty for him. Doing so also allows me to make full use of the local resources that are available to me. I shall prepare a mint-themed banquet, using the mint harvested during the Lantern Rite, to express my gratitude to this old friend of mine. Mint tea to cleanse the heart, mint cake to clear the mind, mint wine to awaken the spirit, and mint soup to nourish the lungs... That should be enough for him to savor the mint thoroughly. Hah, surely my thoughtful arrangements will be forever etched in his memory. As for you, you may come at any time without concern for those menial cleaning tasks. All you need do is sit back and enjoy the banquet, for any feast of mine is sure to be a spectacular affair befitting the Adepti. | |
