Hmph, Navia keeps bringing up her adventures with you in the fairytale world of "Simulanka" lately. It's been long since I last traveled anywhere, and her stories are making me itch for a trip.

Fortunately enough, I've just wrapped up the recent outfit orders, so it's about the perfect time for me to head outside, take a break, and seek inspiration. Perhaps you'd care to come along? Just so you know, there's no need to prepare much, since I prefer more spontaneous trips.

Oh, and I heard you're planning to set off to Natlan soon? Is it really true that there are many hot springs there? What kind of clothes do the Saurians in Natlan wear? I have so many questions that I would love to have answers to. So, after you return, let's find a quiet restaurant and chat while we unwind together.

Must birthdays follow a fixed template? Cake, flowers, a touch of ceremony? My friends had all that planned out — it sounded lovely, really. But I turned it all down. Today, I simply wanted to focus on my sketches.

I told Eloffe to close up shop early so I could work in peace. To my surprise, she seemed genuinely concerned that her boss might spend her birthday alone, and offered to stay and keep me company while working overtime. Her kindness was more than enough of a gift. But of course, I didn't let her stay.

Still, that little moment sparked something. Loneliness and freedom... not many people come to mind who embody both. But you — both distant and unexpectedly near, here in this letter — you might be one of them.

I sketched out a few rough concepts — take a look. Once the final pieces are ready, I'll be needing a model. You won't mind playing mannequin, will you?

While sorting through my wardrobe, I came across a failed piece from years ago. Back then, I thought it was absolutely dreadful — but looking at it now, I actually find it rather interesting.

So, I picked up my tools, and reworked the cut and stitching on the original pattern. It's still far from perfect, yet at least it's become something I'd stop to look at in a shop window.

The stitches may be rough and uneven, but they're also the clearest kind of honesty. They've also become a testament to the time I've spent on this, from my early clumsy attempts to what it is today...

I suppose it's very much the same with people. We look back after a few years, and sometimes, we find new answers to the problems that once troubled us years ago. What about you? Have you made any similar discoveries lately? Though they say we should always look forward, slowing down for memories every now and then isn't such a bad thing, I think.
