Being gently embraced by the sea, facing the endless blue sky and the dancing fish... No matter what your troubles are, they will all disappear in that moment.

Life on Watatsumi Island is as usual, but there are many little things that I'd like to share with you.

Take, for example, what I have seen of late while walking the shallows. I saw a couple Adorned Unagi emerging from the sand. They swayed in the sea breeze while facing the setting sun, looking so carefree and relaxed.

Though those creatures are young, I sense they might have a deeper insight into the nature of the waves than even we do.

I took what I witnessed from them as a sign of something auspicious.

That day, I couldn't bear to disturb them, so I took a quiet detour. Yet, that genuine sense of relaxation has remained to the present.

The sea never fails to surprise. Sometimes it brings resources. Sometimes it gifts a moment of peace. If you are also willing to interact with the trove of treasures the waters offer, then perhaps you should take the dive, and seize the present as well.

Recently, I've often found myself thinking about our hard-won peace, and how that now, as the Divine Priestess, I should be able to do more for the people than I ever could before.

I'd like to host a Book Club Meeting and invite the people of Watatsumi Island to join, and encourage them to read and share their favorite books. I've already made some preliminary predictions regarding the format and the effect I'd like to achieve, but I lack experience in matters such as these, and cannot guarantee that every detail has been comprehensively accounted for...

If possible, would you be willing to rehearse it with me?

We'll have a small-scale meeting as a trial run, with just the two of us as participants. This way, not only can I familiarize myself with the process, but we can also discuss our recent reading experiences together. Please don't feel any pressure. Just consider it... a picnic with a literary accompaniment.

Narukami Island is holding the "Mikawa Flower Festival," and as you know, I've been involved in creating some games for it. It's a chance for the people of Watatsumi Island to enjoy a grand celebration with both humans and youkai, while also exploring the feasibility of using games as a direction for Watatsumi Island's tourism, focusing on both the present and the future. This festival is a great opportunity for Watatsumi Island to connect with the outside world, so it's only natural that I've been putting in more effort.

The creative process has been more exhausting than I expected, with endless meetings draining my energy... But then, during a casual chat, Gyoubu Koban brought up that chase game you two played, shouting, "Yellow Fur, catch me if you can!" Just picturing it made me laugh and lifted my spirits.

Would you be up for playing it again? I've prepared some directives, tweaked the rules a bit, and added some fun twists — not to compete, but to make our time together even more enjoyable. What do you say?

Recently, watching films has become trendy on Watatsumi Island as well. I've even been asked if we could film one right here.

I thought it might be a good way to introduce Watatsumi Island to the outside world, so I agreed.

Naturally, the first step is to write a script, but there doesn't seem to be anyone on the whole island who's skilled at it, so I suppose I'll have to take care of it myself. However, the books I usually read don't seem to be good references for films...

So, I intend to study other famous works, just as I used to with books on military strategy and tactical formations. Only by thoroughly understanding the script's structure can one arrange things properly in practice.
