The children relish creating opportunities to bond with each other — having barbecue dinners, enjoying cool breezes, going stargazing together... Instead of racking their brains for a reason, "Father's" birthday is but the perfect occasion. Arranging the venue, preparing the food... In this process, the children tend to incorporate their personal preferences every now and then.

I do not mind, as it is a "Father's" duty to provide opportunities for relaxation at the right time.

Regrettably, some familiar faces will no longer appear, and for their own varied reasons, which need neither concealment nor sugarcoating. The children must all learn not to let sorrow cloud their heart and mind, be it sooner or later.

Your connection with the House of the Hearth, however, is an unexpected delight. Many here are looking forward to seeing you at today's gathering. If it is convenient for you, please do not let their expectations go unmet.

The hearth at the House is blazing, and the children will be at the door to welcome you.

The children have each been assigned their respective duties and responsibilities, and so, long stretches without seeing one another have become the norm. Still, here beneath the roof of the House of the Hearth, closeness is not measured by the frequency of our meetings. If anything, each reunion carries greater weight for its rarity.

I have declined several of the more tedious visits and engagements in recent days, hoping to set aside a little more time to quietly enjoy this freshly brewed, fragrant pot of tea with my family. After all, a moonlit night before the storm is always especially precious — and all the more fleeting.

Tea, once cooled, loses its flavor. I've asked Lynette to keep the pot warm by the hearth. So if you happen to be passing by, do come in.

You must have heard many people describe Snezhnaya in all sorts of ways by now.

But no matter how many times you hear others speak of the biting cold, it is nothing compared to scooping up a handful of snow yourself and feeling the change in temperature as it melts in your palms.

And once the snow has melted, whether you choose to keep it cradled in your hands, letting your body warmth drive away the stinging chill, or open your fingers and let it fall to the ground and refreeze... that choice is yours and yours alone.

Whatever you choose, you are now in Snezhnaya, imagine you have already formed your first impre of the place.
