These past few days, I have wandered through Liyue. The journey left me with certain thoughts, and so I set them down in this letter. I hope they may find favor with your discerning eye.

I once heard that the people of Liyue Harbor did not always reside there. After the floods, they came from the Guili Assembly and settled anew, just as Chenyu Vale once did from Lang-Gan. Wishing to see it for myself, I went there. As expected, the old traces have faded from sight.

Afterward, I journeyed north, from Mingyun Village to Stone Gate. There, at a tea stall, an old man spoke with me for a while. From him, I learned that in ages earlier still, people once lived and flourished around Mt. Tianheng, Qingxu Pool, and Lingju Pass.

It seems the Liyue of today is truly a present — one formed by the mingling of many peoples, bloodlines, and histories.

The past is already past. The future remains yet to come. What you and I possess is this moment alone...

I brought back some tea snacks from my travels. Their flavor is most pleasing, and I wished to share them with you. Should a chance arise in days to come, allow me to borrow a little of your leisure, that we might go there together and take a stroll in the spring breeze.

ImageDescription
The bamboo shadows stretch and lean in the silver light as the moon grows more luminous. The sublime hand of nature has a vividness that eclipses even the finest of silk paintings.
Here, I just brewed some fresh tea. See if it suits your taste.
It's been so long since I've had someone to have tea and moongaze with. Naturally, it means that I must ensure my honored guest is well pleased.
Tonight's moon reminds me of those moonlit nights from long ago... No, it's different tonight. It shines a little brighter than it did back then.
