I was in the middle of my chivalric training today when I received a bouquet of fresh flowers from the citizens of Mondstadt. Master Jean said that it was a token of gratitude from everyone and wished me a happy birthday. I don't expect anyone to repay me for my help, but I am moved that they remembered me because of that. I feel like I've improved a little compared to last year... But I'm still far from becoming your reliable shield. This is one of my dreams. I need to try harder for your sake! I haven't let up a moment in the past year. Whether as a maid helping those around me or in my daily training, I strive to be the best I can be. Still, there are times when I do feel like I can't go on anymore... At times like these, I look to the stars. The thought of you, far more brilliant than me, persevering somewhere under the night sky makes me feel like my fatigue is not worth mentioning. How have you been lately? There is a small matter with which I would like to request your help. To be more precise... During festive periods, the Knights of Favonius often find themselves busy with festival preparations. I have had a bit of spare time recently, and I wish to use it to organize a picnic for everyone by myself. Planning the itinerary, confirming the location, setting the area up, and preparing all kinds of little things to create a nice ambiance... These things aren't a problem for me. However, the choice of food for the menu has been quite nerve-wracking. Everybody has different tastes, and choosing traditional Mondstadt cuisine might seem too bland and unoriginal... I eventually managed to create this menu, but my knowledge of dishes from Sumeru really isn't very deep, so I would like you to try it and see how it tastes! Could you please lend me a hand? | |

Whenever this season comes around, flowers all over Mondstadt begin to bloom one after another. Simply gazing out over the colorful countryside is enough to carry all your worries away. I picked a whole basketful of wild flowers, hoping to make them into garlands and little ornaments to decorate the rooms of the Knights of Favonius. But on my way back, a group of familiar-looking children crowded around as soon as they saw me, calling out my name... Though I couldn't help but feel shy, their enthusiasm was impossible to resist... So I decided to share my flowers with them. "I'll teach them how to make flower bracelets for their family," I thought, "Their parents will be so delighted!" Speaking of which, I've also made one for you... Today's commission report is as follows! The tasks that I assisted with were surprisingly relaxing... I was asked to survey some beautiful scenery, and taste-test some delicious food... Today, the wind in Mondstadt seems to carry the fragrance of Dandelion Wine, and the Valberries and berries are especially fresh. I plan to make a berry cake to thank everyone! But... although I often say "leave it to me," when it comes to things that require precise control like "sprinkling a perfect layer of frosting onto something," I'm not too confident about getting it right... Today, I prepared muffins for everyone in the Knights of Favonius. I even adjusted the recipes to suit each person's tastes. Captain Kaeya's were lightly brushed with Dandelion Wine, Klee's have a generous layer of cream on top, Master Jean's are coffee-flavored, and Grand Master Varka's, well, his are made in an extra-large size... Since today is my birthday, I felt it was my duty, as the maid of the Knights of Favonius, to share a bit of that happiness with everyone. I also prepared muffins for you and Paimon. If you have time, please do come to the headquarters and enjoy them with us. ...Hm? Miss Amber is knocking on the window outside. And she's carrying... quite a lot of gift boxes...? | |
