My dads gave me a huge piece of cake to celebrate my birthday. Problem is, my real birthday only happens once every four years, so I feel bad about getting gifts today... Without everyone looking after me, I'd surely have ended up alone in some forgotten corner of the world. No way I'd be as happy as I am today. So... I prepared some gifts for them in return. And I also got something for you! You're important to me, too. I—I want to show you how thankful I am... If I could make a wish today, I'd wish for... for you to keep me company on my real birthday too, hahaha. Oh, right! The egg might look slightly charred, but I'm sure it's perfectly edible! Haha... I can't believe it. Today, I received a cake from my dads. Actually, I feel a little embarrassed but thinking that this is their way of showing their kindness to me, I couldn't possibly refuse it. Repaying my dads is something that requires perseverance, and it is the same with friends, hehe, I understand. Speaking of, I recently found a pretty cool-looking wolf fang. It was hidden in a dark humid Domain and was not easy to get. It caused me quite a bit of suffering. Well, take it as a souvenir of my adventures. I hope you like it! It's not actually my birthday today since I'll need to wait another year before the actual date finally comes around, but getting together with my dads and friends means far more to me than just celebrating the day of my birth. This year, my dads chipped in and bought me a big double-decker cake. I guess it's true what people say: you get what you pay for. The cream and fruit on the cake were soooo delicious that they nearly brought me to tears. I'm really blessed! It's something special that I get cake and care from everyone each year for my birthday! I wanted to share my happiness with you, so I attached a little something to the letter, haha. Thanks for all you've done for me this year. I can't wait to adventure with you again in the future! My birthday is coming! That's something that only happens once every 4 years, of course I've got to plan in advance, so that I'd be prepared for the day's schedule from the moment I opened my eyes! I've gotta thank my dads, spend some time talking with them, then visit friends, and share the rare good luck my birthday brings with everyone! I also wanna do a bunch of really memorable things, like inviting you to go adventure together in a new domain, and have Paimon take pictures of us with the Kamera! In fact, I was just there turning it over and over in my head all night, and I ended up not sleeping a wink at all. Before I knew it, the birds outside my window had already started chirping... No way could I just keep lying there, so might as well just forget about sleeping! Get a move on first, and as for the rest...Well, let's play it by ear. Uh, this is the third letter I've written today. The first one got soaked halfway through by spilled tea... The second one was swept away by the wind the moment I stepped outside. I guess... it was in a hurry to get its Gliding License? Haha, no worries though — this one will definitely make it to you! Now, back to the point. Yesterday, while I was out adventuring, I got hit on the head by a random rock. Normally, that kind of thing happens all the time, but this time, it left a huge bump! I thought the rock seemed special, and sure enough, when I brought it back, my dads said it was excellent forging material. I've included it with the letter. Hope you can put it to good use! I'll be taking it easy these next few days to heal up, so don't worry about me. Besides, finding such a great rock feels like a sign that my luck is turning around! Actually, I started planning this trip as soon as I returned to Mondstadt. During this time, I took on a bunch of lucrative commissions... Even though the process was a bit bumpy, I finally managed to save up enough money! Hehe, now I can finally invite my dads and my friends from Mondstadt to the Easybreeze Holiday Resort! I've checked and confirmed everything — the itinerary, the luggage, even the playing cards to keep my dads entertained during the trip, and the snacks I'm gonna share with my friends.
