Khemenu Temple is a subarea located in Hypostyle Desert, Great Red Sand, Sumeru. It gets labeled on the map after completing the World Quest An Introduction to Indoor Archaeology in Series Golden Slumber.

It is located underground to the east of The Mausoleum of King Deshret.

Etymology

  • Khemenu (Egyptian: ḫmnw) is the Egyptian name for the city of Hermopolis. It means "Eight-Town", after the Ogdoad, a group of eight "primordial" deities whose cult was situated there.
