The Chasm: Underground Mines

Serving as the main entrance to the Chasm's Mines, it consists of two huge caves with a smaller one in between.

There are massive mounds of solid dark mud at the floor of the ruins (which do not act like actual Dark Mud), and at the roof of the cave is an upside-down ruin that contains a water pool.

There is a purple barrier around the Inverted City that is removed in Archon Quest The Grave of the Guarded in Chapter II: Act IV - Requiem of the Echoing Depths.

They are involved in the quest World Quest Perils in the Dark in Series The Chasm Delvers.

The Inverted City consists of the ruins of Lang-Gan that remained underground after its destruction.

This location is initially blocked off by a barrier, which will be removed during Archon Quest Chapter II: Act IV - Requiem of the Echoing Depths.

The Hidden Exploration Objective "Seed from the Valley of Life" takes place here.

Climbing up the tree's branches on the southern side of the area allows the player to travel through a Mine Passageway to Sumeru, near a Mushroom growing on the tree. The other side of the passageway is next to the waterfall beneath the Statue of The Seven near Gandharva Ville in Avidya Forest.

The Spiritstone is a Celestial Nail located in The Chasm: Underground Mines, originally sent to destroy the ancient civilization of Lang-Gan to purify it of Abyssal corruption. A fragment known as the Wishstone was discovered in Stony Halls. The effect it had on the miners who came in contact with it prompted the Liyue Qixing to close off The Chasm entirely. Additionally, chunks of ore that seem to be related to this mysterious large crystal were also found.^[1]

During Archon Quest Interlude Chapter: Act II - Perilous Trail, the player can re-enter this location at an entrance beneath the Chasm Nail. After completing Perilous Trail, the entrance will disappear and become permanently inaccessible.
