Nuwa

Nuwa is Fuxi's sister,^[2] an assistant to Dr. Mobius,^[4] a pioneer for Project Ember,^[6] and a goddess of the Shenzhou legends.^[7]

Elysian Realm

In the Previous Era, Nuwa was one of Mobius' assistants at MOTH alongside Fuxi and Klein. The three started working together with a similar workload, but, over time, the sisters handed their work over to Klein.^[8] Eventually, after the Herrscher of Corruption descended, Fuxi had an argument with Mobius, and the two quit working for her to pursue Project Ember instead.^[6] Additionally, the two were given the 10th Divine Key, the Xuanyuan Sword, by Dr. MEI to keep safe.^[9] After the descent of the Final Herrscher, Nuwa entered the Divine Key, the Key of Stagnation's cryopod, as one of the Previous Era's remaining survivors.^[4]

Once awakening in the Current Era, Nuwa, Fuxi, and Fu Hua began Project Ember. The two sisters also looked around the land for someone worthy of the Xuanyuan Sword, eventually finding Ji Xuanyuan, and they gave her the sword, awakening her natural stigmata.^[10]

Springfest

During some point in their adventures, while Fu Hua resided as "Phoenix", the two sisters built the ELF Book of Fuxi for Fu Hua,^[3] as they were worried about how she'd fair by herself once they died.^[11]

Second Key

During the late 5th century, Project Ember was discontinued due to the appearance of the Judgment-class Honkai Beast Chiyou.^[12] The growth of Previous Era knowledge in the Current Era was what sparked the Honkai Beast's birth, whom Fuxi, Nuwa, and Ji Xuanyuan^[13] gave up their lives to stop and seal^[5] in 2100 BC.^[14]

The Forgotten

In the Chronicle The Forgotten, Fu Hua finds Nuwa deep in her memories due to a clay figurine.^[15] Nuwa invites her into the caves to help her with legends of beautiful young ladies^[16] as a way of passing information down to the Current Era.^[17] To do this, however, they needed to find the cave's secret treasure.^[18] The two eventually find the treasure, though it turns out to be ordinary clay that Nuwa was looking for as modeling clay to make figurines.^[19] She reveals that her plan is to make popular characters through manga, anime, and figurines.^[20] She then creates the character of "Jingwei" in front of Fu Hua before asking her for more modeling clay.^[21] Yet, while looking for more clay, Nuwa finds enemies inside the cave and calls for Fu Hua, who gets rid of them^[22] at the cost of the cave collapsing.^[23] The two run out safely, though Nuwa loses her modeling clay and Jingwei figurine. Luckily, Fu Hua saves the figurine herself and gives it back to Nuwa.^[24] She then compliments Fu Hua, calling her dependable and nice, which is the reason why she wanted to tell everyone else about her.^[25] She later explains her story-making process to Fu Hua, mentioning her sister Fuxi alongside, which opens Fu Hua's new memory fragment, making her leave Nuwa.^[26]
