    • Herrscher of Earth is the Previous Era term for the Herrscher of Stars.[2] They are capable of manipulating gravity,[3] Earth, rocks, and minerals.[2]

    Appearance

    While the Herrscher of Earth's physical form never directly appears in the story, its powers during its Honkai Eruption are shown to have a purple color and a shape similar to lightning.[4]

    Story

    A year after ELFs gained freedom,[5] the Herrscher of Earth appeared, producing a plague of Honkai[6] and a pseudo-black hole that covered the Mu continent,[7] taking the lives of one-sixth of humanity.[8] The pseudo-black hole made those of Mu believe they'd become extinct.[5] The threat prompted Dr. EINSTEIN, the creator of the ELFs, to create a portal to the Sea of Quanta and attempt to pull the entire Mu continent into it, resulting in the creation of a Bubble World.[9] However, Dr. EINSTEIN's escape didn't work, as the Honkai Energy produced from the Herrscher of Earth had already sunk into the Mu continent's soil, making it uninhabitable for humans.[10] As such, only ELFs were left in the Bubble World, due to being the sole survivors.[11]

    The impact from the pseudo-black hole caused the Earth's tectonic plates to create the Mariana Trench and cover the Eye of the Deep's ruins.[12] Ato, who was Kosma's colleague and Griseo's father, also lost his life in the impact.[13]

    The Herrscher was eventually killed by Kevin Kaslana using the Cleaver of Shamash.[1] However, the destruction changed the nature of the Previous Era's humanity from there on.[14] The Divine Keys Star of Eden[3] and the Twins of Eden were made using their core.[15]

    Personality

    The Herrscher of Earth can be assumed to have been destructive, with its effects on humanity and the Earth itself being instantaneous with its decent.[14]
